We had an incredible adventure vacation in Colombia (Feb 28–March 7), all perfectly organized by Margoth and her team at Aracanto Travel.

From start to finish, everything was seamless and thoughtfully planned. The hotels in Bogotá and Medellín were excellent, and each day was filled with unique, well-paced experiences that never felt rushed. Margoth created an itinerary that perfectly balanced adventure, culture, and relaxation.

Our guides, Esteban in Bogotá and Andrés in Medellín, were both outstanding—friendly, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Esteban made our visit to the local flower and fruit market one of the highlights of the trip, guiding us through new flavors and sharing great stories. He also introduced us to fantastic lunch spots and hidden gem coffee places we never would have discovered on our own. Andrés brought Medellín to life with his storytelling and insights, helping us connect more deeply with the city and its culture.

Some standout experiences included biking through Bogotá, hiking Monserrate, exploring graffiti murals, climbing the Rock of Guatapé, visiting an organic flower farm, and hiking through a river to a beautiful waterfall. Every restaurant recommendation was excellent, especially the unforgettable 19-course tasting menu at El Cielo.

Margoth and her team were always responsive and attentive, ensuring every detail—from daily logistics to our intercity flight—was handled smoothly and professionally.

Exotic, beautiful, and adventurous are good words to sum up our trip to Columbia! We spent 10 days going to Bogota, Coffee region, and Cartagena. Margoth and the Aracanto team made the daunting task of traveling internationally very easy. They were available to us and very responsive throughout the trip, making us feel like we had someone to go to when we needed. Margoth and the Aracanto team took all my worries away for organizing my friends 50th birthday in cartengena. I stumbled on the company while doing research about cartengena for me and my 10 friends. Im so glad I did. Margoth, totally took all my worries away and planned a fantasic itinerary for us ladies. I told her our interests and she planned it right away. we did city walking tour with Jose he was so knowledgeable and patience with us ladies. Made sure we were ok for our last stop before he left us for the day. Second day we had Juan as our tour guide. He met us at the hotel for our coffee tasting. After coffee tasting he showed us the best spots for shopping and then took us for our salsa lessons. What an caring human being. He stayed with us all day. we wanted to hit a night club and he accompanied us there also. We felt so safe with him being out so late. Thank you Aracanto team for making my friends birthday so memerable. We all fell in Love with colombia and we will all be back again.

I highly recommend Aracanto as every detail of my trip was so perfectly planned. My trip was very last minute, and they were able to put together a 6-day itinerary for me in a matter of days. Every time I had a question or a need, someone would respond right away via What’s App. There was a great mix of fun and interesting activities (Salsa lesson, 2 days in Islas Rosario, drum workshop, mangrove forest tour, city tour, rum tasting, etc), and the guides and drivers were very prompt, friendly and accommodating.

My main guide, José Vicente Figueroa, was outstanding—such a great educator and wonderful guy overall. Carlos accompanied me on transfers, and he was very kind and conscientious. My driver, Emerson, was always on time and showed concern for my schedule and well-being. Margoth was my main contact, and she was extremely organized and communicative. I’m telling all of my friends and family who want to go to Cartagena to use Aracanto!

I've used Aracanto twice for trips within Colombia. The activities that Aracanto planned for us were awesome, personalized, and everything went very smoothly. When things didn't go according to plan (for example, activity vendor cancelled last minute due to an emergency), they solved everything and kept the show running.

The best part is how responsive they are - always accessible on email and WhatsApp.

We just visited Columbia, and Margoth helped us making this trip a very interesting and amazing trip. First of all, Columbia is a beautiful country to visit, and also very safe. We had a chance to go to Cartagena, Bogota and Zipaquira. Margoth and her local team were extremely helpful and all her recommendations were wonderful.
