Delays, wrong item, no return label, extra cost and very time consuming
As a professional cinematographer, I needed reliable lighting for a commercial shoot, and this experience with Aputure was extremely disappointing.
First, my payment was declined despite sufficient funds, and the verification process took far longer than it should have. That delay alone put unnecessary pressure on a time-sensitive production.
Then, when the order finally arrived, one of the lights was incorrect and not even compatible with my setup. Returning it was another issue entirely. There was no prepaid return label, and because it had to be sent back via UPS, I ended up paying over $75 out of pocket just to return their mistake.
Customer service was slow and unhelpful throughout the process.
Overall, this was inefficient, costly, and unacceptable for professional use. I will not be ordering from Aputure again.
