First, I searched for U.S. Department of State Passport renewal on google. IVS came up before the real State Department much further down the page. I wrongly thought I was on the .gov website. When I was done i went to pay and the pay app was filled in and the order button submitted, nothing happenned. No alerts nothing, just the same payment page. Thinking is was a glitch I tried again, same response, nothing. Freaking out I went to my bank and saw 7 charges for $217. Luckilly my bank denied all of them. Talked with the real DOS and they had nothing to offer.

this is a scam company that somehow shows at the top of any search about passport renewal on google. it is a sponsored result (of course). they charge high amounts for a procedure that should cost only the $130 government fee AND WORSE, it gets all your personal info from dob to ssn, descriptives (height, hair color etc) so it likely sells all this to fraudsters who then apply for accounts and create fake ID documents in your name. BEWARE
