I’ve been an apex member for a few years now and honestly don’t know where I’d be without it! I use it almost daily and love how flexible it is. There is a HUGEEE catalogue of rides from some of the best British instructors around.
I love how leaderboards make you feel like you’re really part of something. I have a few fellow riders (who I’ve never met!) that I always look out for on the leaderboard.
I almost don’t want to leave such a good review, because I don’t want too many people to know about it! It genuinely does feel like a proper community.
The bike itself is good looking and doesn’t look out of place in my living room. It has had daily use for 3 years now and I’ve only had one issue with a pedal that was dealt with swiftly (only a few days before Christmas too!).
So do yourself a favour and say no to the big multi-national fellas and join a genuine British born community. And save yourself a good few quid as well!

Very happy to be committed to the app subscription (to access instructors and their classes) - with the special offer it would be a minimum of 10 months, then I could get out of it. But after using it for a month, the question you have to ask is ‘why would you cancel the subscription?’.

The bike is commercial gym quality (I know, because I was an instructor for over 10 years) and is a great ride. My wife and I use it and we both love it. But the bike without the instructors and their classes? That would be like meat without gravy, Laurel without Hardy or Ant without Dec. It just wouldn’t work.

The instructors are all British (mostly), apart from one of my favourites, Carol Ann, who I think is Canadian. I haven’t tried all the instructors so there may be more (give me a chance FGS!) but those I have are fantastic. They all have great positive energy without being OTT and their music choices are right on point.

Apex is so so good that I think I’m becoming addicted to it!

Getting the bike delivered was seamless. I found the set up of the bike really straightforward and it all feels sturdy - the set up videos they sent over really helped!! I’m new to home cycling and only two classes in so it is early days but I enjoyed the classes so much and the professionalism and style of the instructors that it made me want to leave a review.
I did read what other people were saying on here before I purchased from Apex and was quite weary about purchasing with them because of some of the things being said but it also felt like there’s support for what Apex are trying to achieve so I wanted to get behind a U.K. company and see what they have to offer - fingers crossed it was the right choice - so far so very good!!

Bike is stable and well made, the design was that thing that really pulled me towards Apex over the other bike and I do not regret it.

I am one of the OG’s of the apex bike and had lost all faith until they were rebranded. The difference is second to none. The classes are amazing and the instructors they have teach at some of the most expensive fitness establishments in london where you get no change from £200 a month. £29.99 is a bargain for the quality you are getting on the app and the studio setup is amazing. If they still have the offer on the bike just do it. I did mine on Klarna so I could afford the initial purchase. Spread over 3 months I could do that. Hats off to the new management team and keep on doing what you’re doing. I love it 😀

Apex are great! I was really struggling to find time to work out since having kids but this has solved the problem. Such a great range of classes means there I always have time for a work out. Can’t recommend enough.

Great classes, great looking bike.

Amazing classes with very professional instructors, and the bikes are great. So much quicker and easier than heading to the gym, especially having a busy schedule. Makes life a lot easier! Very pleased with my purchase.

I will write another honest review as my last one was replied to, then challenged and removed as apex complained about it.

Anyway yes I did order a bike through eBay via another company, which should have been in warranty… however an engineer visit WAS NOT booked as they wanted £100 I think it was, to attempt to book an engineer… considering all the reviews at the time saying that peoples bikes were not turning up for months on end after buying them, I would be throwing £100 for an engineer who wouldn’t turn up down the drain.

Anyway, do not buy an apex bike, the customer service is awful and there replies are shocking

I invested in one of these bikes a few years ago and it's been quite a ride (in a 100% positive sense).

I'm not really one for getting sweaty in a room full of strangers. Be that for health or lifestyle purposes! As such, this has changed my life when it comes to the former.

The classes are brilliant and varied. There is an element of competition without the judging eyes of a group spin class.

The real beauty is you don't need to leave the house, so for me this has become part of my daily routine (more days than not at least). ;)

Due to the hustle and bustle of daily life and being a first time mum it’s been hard to make time to exercise as much as I’d like to. Now I’ve purchased an Apex bike it’s made life so much easier to join a 15/20 minute class whilst the little one naps at home. The instructor's, banging tunes and the mix of classes are great and have kept me motivated to stay in the saddle!

Don’t waste your time or money the app is a joke. Go to your local spin classes or spend that bit extra on peloton at least you know what you are getting.

Purchased the bike a few years ago and had nothing but problems with the technology side of things.

Love the bike, looks slick in the house and the workout videos are great. Had it for a month and so far so good.

Love Elito and Emma classes! Great music too- party on a bike!

Just got my Apex bike, its super user friendly and easy to use. There seems to be a great range of classes, some with more technique focus and some which are more like a party on the bike! Both equally as good.

For the first time in ages I feel inspired to exercise! Especially now its in the convenience of my own home.

Bought for my wife last month. She is very happy

Avoid Apex at all costs. I got one and I regret it, had issues with the bike, no instructors for a lengthy time (no communication while this was happening)
They don't have a complaints process that is how unorganised and small this company are.
Honestly better off spending more or getting something cheaper.
They've even changed the free version on the app so now I either pay their membership or got a bike i could pick up forr £150.
This is a genuine review and I've owned the bike for couple of years now :(
