Promise a bunch of points. You do a bunch of the survey. Then yiu get 10 points because the survey isn't for you. If the survey is 50 points for a 7 minute survey, you do it for 5 minutes and then only get 10 points. Very rarely do you get to complete one and get the Promised points

Just a waste of time. Believe me, everything goes fine at first. But later on, as you start to build up your balance, surveys become much scarcer; you fill out a questionnaire only to be told a few minutes later that you don't fit the profile they're looking for. You end up wasting time and never getting paid. In my opinion, it's a scam.

After 2 years of giving this a fair chance, Angus Reid Forum aka Angus Reid Group USA Inc and its subsidiaries and affiliates (USA & Canada) are a scam where people are underpaid at the level of unfair/slave labour. On average you may get 50cents for 30 mins of your time.

We reported ongoing issues to Angus Reid Forum, Angus Reid Institute, Service Canada, Labour Board of Canada and even their technologies provider Alida Inc (formerly Vision Critical Communications), that over 22 reports of unpaid study consultations were never resolved or attended to, just in the last several months. The 23rd report was one of FRAUD on a $150 payment Visa card provided by Virtual Incentives USA aka Virtual Reward Center, where $ was stolen from the account without any accountability or way to track what happened, or how to have VI/VRC or Angus Reid restore the funds. It took 4 months to receive the card in the mail after it was mailed out, and took 1 more month to reissue the card when VI/VRC cancelled the card for no reason before arrival. That’s 5 months to get a payment on a study contract just to have it be stolen via fraud. VRC/VI did absolutely nothing about the fraud reports. Fake phone numbers with robotic answering machine loops, and auto-robotic responses from email “support” that doesn't read anything you put in writing and refuses to callback or fax (to eliminate post-mail dysfunction and inaccessibility).

VI/VRC claims to “require” a “token” in order to investigate fraud reports, which is technically impossible* to generate when these direct VRC accounts don’t exist because Angus Reid Forum is their direct customer, Angus Reid Forum automatically registers the payment cards without VRC accounts, and the cards are activated via telephone to an automated VRC activation line.

While the company publishes a phone number for customer service, it only goes to a recording. There is no option to speak to a person.

When contacting the company via email, the responses are almost always automated, generated apparently by AI. All emails go to support at angusreidforum.com for USA and Can.

We should get a Class Action Lawsuit going.

This is a very poorly run company. I joined them because I enjoy doing surveys. So after I joined and filled in the required information, I was told that the account was registered. I tried to log in ro my account and I keep getting the message invalid email. I was told to reset my password and clear the cache which I have done numerous times and still does not work. I have contacted technology support about this. I have sent a screenshot about the problem and they keep sending me the same info over and over again which does not work. Obviously they do not care so people don’t bother to register with this company. Bad bad company Since I have got a response from Angus Reid they have told me that this is the American part of Angus Reid and they asked me to take down my review. I am not going to do that but I will let everyone that this is the Canadian part of Angus Reid that I am having a problem with and I will tell you what their response was. They told me that I could unsubscribe and that is what I did.
