drivers always late
I like the angel cars drivers as they are polite and try to find the best route. The problem is that several times when I have booked hours in advance, my driver is given just one more job before picking me up. This leads to them being late or stuck in traffic. I have been kept waiting outside on the street for between 20-30 mins, in the cold, dark and even in the pouring rain. I find this unacceptable, and very inefficient.

Avoid. Avoid. Avoid at all costs
Don’t book. Will waste your time. Ignore the cheaper prices. They make up for it in awful customer service.
I called and was told I can book online. Did this and got a confirmation email with an expected time. Waited 30 mins for the taxi or a call and nothing.
I called up and was told ‘it was cancelled we don’t have a driver’ and ‘it was never booked’?? I told him I didn’t get notified and I’ve just been waiting for this imaginary taxi. He replied ‘well I just told you’ sounding unbothered and rude.
Wasted my time and I needed to get somewhere in time so won’t be using ever again.

They don't even deserve one star. I'd booked a cab from Hampton to Richmond via the app a few days before. On t he day, I checked 5mn before where the driver was, and to my dismay, the trip was showing 'cancelled'. I called and was told that he had broken down and couldn't send anyone else. I queried why I wasn't told, and he said I had been texted. I never received it, and if you cancel at short notice, common courtesy is to phone, not text!! I called the next day about my refund and was told by a very rude man that it had been sent. It appeared in my bank a few days later. Avoid at all costs, not reliable and very rude!
Appalling car service
The only thing positive to say is that the driver showed up on time for my transfer to the airport.
Unhelpful, minimal communication which was rude, car filthy and stinks of smoke, unable to open windows, dangerous driving, potentially still drunk from the night before, most bizarre route possible.
I hope I get there in 1 piece… and if I do, I’m never booking with these guys again.
My experience of Muhammad Husnain …
One of Angel cars drivers Muhammad Husnain is an exceptional driver and man who is caring ,hardworking , Makes sacrifices by making up his hours with angel cars in the evenings in order to come and visit me in norwich to thank me for his birthday present in person . Travelling from London to Norwich and then back again only to sleep for a bit then work again in the evening . Muhammad Husnain I am so proud of you you deserve a medal for what you are doing
Absolutely shocking experience with…
Absolutely shocking experience with this airport pickup service. The driver ignored our elderly parents’ needs, refused to help with luggage until prompted, and then demanded £40 despite a confirmed £25 booking. The service was rude, unprofessional, and exploitative, their complaints policy is poor, and we would strongly advise caution if you are travelling with elderly parents.

Very disappointing and DANGEROUS service. The driver was 15 minutes late and I had to call the operator several times to get an update. The car and driver were smelly and not clean. Despite having four people in the car and the windows fogging up, the driver refused to turn on the AC, saying he wanted to save fuel. On top of that, he appeared sleepy, was drifting out of his lane, and I had to keep talking just to keep him awake. Completely unacceptable and unsafe.
Made a pre booking online
Made a pre booking online, the app took my card details and £1.01 to authorise my card. The booking didn't show up so I called the helpline, where I was rudely told, I had no booking. No help, no questions, no customer service. I would definitely not recommend this company.
Unreliable and none of their email addresses work
After a long overnight flight back to London with a young family, we booked and paid in advance for an 8-seater, providing full flight details and allowing ample time to ensure a smooth pickup.
Despite a confirmed 7:30am booking, we were outside in freezing temperatures at the meeting point at that time with no driver, no communication, and no response to calls. After several attempts, we finally reached someone who incorrectly insisted the booking was for 8:00am, even though our confirmation clearly stated 7:30am.
We were then told the driver would arrive at 8:30am, but they eventually turned up at 8:45am — a 1 hour 15 minute delay from the booked time. This level of delay is unacceptable in any circumstances, and especially so when travelling with young children after a long flight.
We have used this service for years, but this experience was the final straw. We will not be using them again.

I ordered a taxi 3 days in advance of needing it for a time critical journey on Christmas Day that also involved a child. We reconfirmed on Christmas Day morning that everything was ok then about 90 minutes before the taxi was due I received a call that there was an issue with the driver and sadly they couldn’t fulfil the booking.
My friend tried to reason with them saying that surely Angels should find another car to provide the service booked and we’re told it was Christmas Day (obviously the reason that I booked in advance) and that these things happen and then the controller hung up on them.

The WORST car service I have ever…
The WORST car service I have ever encountered during my 20+ years in London. Unprofessional drivers and staff, and false advertising when it comes to offering a "meet and greet service," which it offers both on the website and its telephone hold advertising. After a 14-hour flight, this experience was the last thing my elderly parents should have had to endure. And the driver? He forgot to fill his up his tank, lost his car in the parking lot and was texting and talking on his phone the entire trip. Customers should be able to give this awful company 0 stars.

Received txt saying driver on their way 50mins prior to pick up.
Did not show, rang operator who said problem was drivers had dropped the booking, could we wait 40/ 60 mins in rain?
They could not explain why they did not contact us with a warning.
They don't care, I would imagine?
Do not risk using them.

Appalling service: I waited over an hour to be picked up at Heathrow after a flight from India. Driver very apologetic said he had only been told to do the job 15 minutes earlier.

Avoid like the plague booked a 0350 cab rang 1800 the night before to make sure everything ok I was 100% assured it was. 0330 get a call to say they can't get a driver and its cancelled, terrible service thank god for uber to get me out of a bad situation this is the 2nd time this company has done this. I will never use them again I advise to avoid them.
Run by soulless beings
If I could give a minus ten I would. After an emergency at Charing cross hospital all I wanted to do was go home. Told my taxi will be 20mins. 30mins pass I get a message saying I got assigned a driver and then another 20mins pass I call and they say 10 more minutes. 1hours pass and they cancel my taxi. These are not humans!!
Poor service, no accountability – Very disappointing
I booked an early-morning ride with Angels Cars on 30th September for 5:50 am, aiming to get to Heathrow Terminal 2 by 6:15 am. A friend had recommended the service, so I expected a reliable and smooth experience.
Unfortunately, the driver arrived 17 minutes late, leaving me stressed and unsure whether I would even make it to the airport on time. While the driver was polite and the car was clean, there was no assistance with luggage at pick-up or drop-off, and the driving felt rushed, as if he was trying to make up for the delay, which didn’t feel safe or comfortable.
We arrived at the airport later than planned (6:25 am). I managed to catch my flight, but the whole experience was far from the stress-free transfer I was hoping for.
What has disappointed me even more is what happened afterwards. Despite reaching out, I received no proper reply for months, no explanation, no apology, nothing. And now, instead of acknowledging what went wrong or taking responsibility, they’ve simply offered me a voucher to use their service again… as if I’d risk repeating the same experience.
After everything, a generic voucher feels more like an attempt to brush the issue aside rather than address it.
I genuinely hoped for better, especially given the positive experiences others have had, but I can’t recommend Angels Cars based on how this was handled.

Booked a car to Luton airport with pickup at 7am. Called multiple times and they said “driver is on the way”, “driver is stuck in traffic”, “driver will call you”, “driver is arriving”. Driver never called and gave up after 45 mins of this nonsense. Then called to cancel as I had to get an Uber. They were very resistant and kept saying the driver was nearby and about to call. Eventually then agreed to cancel with a reluctant “okay” and then hung up. Useless company, terrible service. Avoid at all costs.
