I used Andrew James to provide surveying services in June 2023 regarding a prospective purchase. Andrew kept regularly in touch throughout the process even though we were out of the country on vacation. The quality of his review was excellent and he offered an opinion early in the process about what level of survey would be appropriate and pointed me towards a less expensive option.

Andrew was great from our first contact with him. He took the time to clearly explain what we would get for our money and wasn’t in any way pushy. It is evident he is passionate about his job and wants to provide the best service. He rang us after the survey visit to give a brief overview of his findings, and then gave us an hour of his time on a phone call once we’d had chance to read and digest the report. This gave us the opportunity to make more sense of the report and work out exactly which repairs we needed to prioritise. Andrew’s work was of the highest quality and I would recommend him to anyone.

When I'd previously bought a house I'd just taken the upgrade option with my mortgage provider. In comparison Andrew's report was much more useful.

We spoke before the visit about what the right level of survey would be suitable as well as expectations. After the visit he called to provide me with some initial points. The survey itself was really detailed. The photos he was able to take also helped a lot too. We spoke again once I'd absorbed the information from the document and he was more than happy to answer more questions. The survey led to me being able to take relevant steps to negotiate parts of the sale. I really appreciate his service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use his services again in the future.

Andrew made the home survey process incredibly easy - from initial enquiry right through to the contact after the survey. He is a fantastic communicator who very clearly cares about his work and ensuring people's home buying process is well taken care of through his role. It was very easy to arrange the level 2 survey (Home Buyers Report) and the report came very quickly after the survey date. The report itself was very detailed and a huge amount of pictures throughout to highlight the areas being discussed. Andrew was always in communication and replied very quickly, he offered detailed answers and phone calls if needed to go through the report. I feel very secure with the care and detail provided and the price was incredibly reasonable. If I ever require a home report again I will 100% contact Andrew.
