I have been taking Amberen for over a year now. I can's say enough about it. No more hot flashes at all. I have not had any side affects at all. I highly recommend Amberen.

I've been taking Amberen for two months now, and finally no more night sweats I stopped drinking coffee and cut down on sweets and also my addiction to Hershey's chocolates had stoped... that helped too., But I've noticed my body hair not growing as fast as before and my eyelashes are almost gone I tried to curl them and that's when I realized it, they were to short so I wasn't able to curl them...don't understand why this is happening.

Took this for two days, headaches and bad stomachache with bad gas. Day 4 after taking it for only two days my stomach is still hurting and gas is ridiculous. Everyone is different but not for me. Out $30.00

I am one of these not likely to take an survey but this time bec I have been taking it for 6 days and I started to have headaches 3 days. I dont usually got headaches but now my headache has been going on 3 days... until today I wondered if any side effects. I am glad I found the reason. Thank you to all to share your feelings. It seems everyone has different effects. Just not for me.

Been taking for a week.bad bad headache with these dont waste your money

I tried this and I noticed every time I take it my stomach hurts really bad, and major headache. After reading the reviews. And others had the same reaction to it . And finding out it has msg . My body reacts to msg.

I began taking just around Christmas, 2019. It initially helped w the hot flashes. However, after a few weeks, began to get headaches and the hot flashes returned, though much more frequent. Directions said to try for 3 months so I hung in there. After over 2 months, I couldn't take the flashes anymore, we're e talking several at night and approximately 10 during the day. I stopped about a week ago, back to 1-2 flashes at night and about 3-5 during the day. Don't waste your money on Amberen.

Just started taking these pills a week ago and they are giving me really bad headaches. I guess I should have done more research on the side effects of these pills. After reading the reviews it looks like I’m not the only one. The headaches are very similar to the Period headaches I occasionally got during my period. I’m not comfortable taking something that gives me headaches. I will take my doctors advice (which I should have in the 1st place!!) and only take the all natural remedy of black Cohosh, pomegranate extract and vitamin D + calcium.

This product didn't work for me...tried it for three months, wasted $100.

I don't usually write reviews but I feel the need to, I tried this medicine based on the few good reviews I read and was so excited to start taking it, for me it didn't work, I experienced headaches, high blood pressure indigestion and painful gas, the headaches were bad very dizzy headaches I felt shakey and just not myself I immediately stopped taking this and im finally starting to feel like myself again

To all who have even thought of purchasing Amberen...please think twice!!!

I'm not even quite sure how to rate it. I have taken Amberen for 11 years...Long time? Too long? Not thinking twice of the possible ramifications that could be lurking down the road for me!!!
So I kept popping them, every day, feeling good, no side effects and wondering, Will I take Ambern for life? When should I stop? How long does it take to rid my system from "Amberen"?
And everytime I called to order more...they kept taking my money, thanking me for being such a loyal customer knowing full well how long I've taken "Amberen"

Well, a week ago I started experiencing some Thyroid issues...Hyperthyroidism to be frank.
My symptoms; Hair loss, heart palpitations, weight loss, shaking hands etc.
A lifetime of great health, no family thyroid history and now wondering, will my thyroid level out after discontinuing use. Only time will tell.

To date I have stopped taking Amberen and I'm hoping I can take back my great health.
I guess taking anything for toooo long may have consequences. If it effected my Thalamus could it have effected my Thyroid? My diagnosis was from my TSH, FT4 and FT3 lab tests.

After I take my Thyroid Scan and Uptake I'll get another Thyroid test...wish me luck!

I would not recommend buying from this company. Not only did the Amberen not work for me it is not returnable. So they get your money with no help.

I have been taking Amberen for two months. I still have frequent and prolonged hot flashes which still keeps me awake at night. I now have symptoms of nauser and a constant headache. There is nothing else other than taking Amberen that is different in my life. So, I am making a decision to stop taking it.

Into this about a month i have just realized after second trip to urgent care that my blinding headaches started after i started this product. My blood pressure was very hi also, my bp meds did not help lower it. I am stopping this product reluctantly because i felt it was starting to stop the night sweats.
I am now at a loss as to what to do with my night sweats and lack of sleep.

I have found that the hot flashes and mood are better only been using 3 weeks I do have a concern of my hair is thinning aot since starting amberen

I purchased Amberen 3 days ago at CVS. It was the last box. I was so desperate for something to help with the night sweats and hot flashes. I am on my 3rd day and I have seen a significant decrease in the hot flashes, night sweats and mood swings. The only side effect was I woke up with a headache, but that is not uncommon for me so I can't definitively say that Amberen caused the headache. I am 49 years old and I had a partial hysterectomy at 27. I have been experiencing menopausal symptoms for about 6 years. I will continue to take Amberen as it seems to be working.

I purchased the 3 month package. This product eliminated my hot flashes, help control my weigh gain, I was able to sleep through the night, then going into the 3rd month I started having issues with my intestines and then i got my PERIOD after 2 years. I stop the product immediately.

I have been using Amberen for 30 days, I have noticed my sleep has improved and feeling less edgy. With the hot flashes, they are fewer and not so much at night. I like the product so far. I will continue to use it for 90 days to see any other benefits

I have been taking Amberen for over 3 months. I have a ton of energy and less hot flashes. I am in a great mood all the time. My husband actually goes and gets them when I get close to running out. He does that because I used to be really grouchy before I started taking them.

I used Amberen for 3 weeks and noticed I was not feeling well. Stomach problems, didn't feel like eating, not eating much and my stomach blew up! Bloating & heartburn and then noticed asthma like symptoms and was having migraines. Then I got on google to try to figure out what the "proprietary compound" ingredients were. That's when I noticed that they put MSG in the blend. I am highly allergic to MSG! Why would they put MSG in a pill? It is a flavor enhancer. Weight gain, heartburn, asthma and migraines all figured out now. Also, did not see any difference in hot flashes, night sweats or better quality sleep. I wish I could give a negative rating. -5
