I'm guessing Amazon.ie won't last that long. The customer service is really bad, as well as the returns and refunds process. We returned an item and Amazon know it was picked up by AnPost but because it got lost in their warehouse they are making us wait one month from when we sent it back before they will look into what has happened. You can't allow a customer wait over one month to know if they are getting a refund or not, when the issue had nothing at all to do with the customer. Really bad customer service from a company that prides itself on its customer centric approach. I bet Jeff Bezos is not aware of the shenanigans going on in Amazon.ie.

Misleading and deceptive advertising of GU10 LED lamps. It shows a 10-lamp package, while the indicated price of EUR 8.79 refers to only one lamp. It was sold by Amzon.ie, but the seller is greenandco-ie, 82049 Pullach, Germany Directors: Stefan Lukas and Karsten Hüper

Used to be a big Amazon fan, it’s gone to the dogs! Delivery charges , order delays , items not turning up. I’ve had to phone them to chase refunds due.

My recent order came in about 5 separate parts, so instead of Amazon.ie packaging everything together into 1 box, for a better carbon footprint, my postman made 5 trips to my house. In this day and age, should the big companies not be setting the example? They potentially have massive influence over other companies' packaging and logistics, but still do not want to learn or push the important lessons about carbon footprint.

So far all my parcels have been delivered to the wrong address. Even though we asked so many times for them to update it, nothing happened so far.

Today again , got a parcel delivered somewhere else , and not even an apology from Amazon or we will fix it.

Very disappointed.

Impossible to find email on site to contact customer care. Chat with bot was useless. I have video record of delivery driver dropping NOT MINE parcel to my door, taking picture as delivered, and MY PARCEL IS MISSING! AWFUL SERVICE AND NO ONE TO COMPLAIN!!!!

Shocking , more expensive, longer waiting times , less choice and on more than one occasion have delivered the wrong item .

Moved to Amazon ie from the U.K. prime after years of no issues. First order - said it was out for delivery all day and then after 8pm said it would be another 3 days. Absolutely unacceptable - how on earth is prime from another country quicker? Cancelled my prime after reading this is far from an isolated incident and will return to Amazon Uk. Dismal experience

I bought a chocolate fountain for 260 euro. We got a email to say it was delivered witch no one signed for. Then we rang delivery company we got a photo of it at the end of a road not at our house we went their and item wasn't their. After hours on phone and delivery company even said they wer at fault . Amazon won't give a refund or the seller I have chocolate I can't use a item not delivered and I just keep getting messed around every day I would advise people to stay away from Amazon and bye local or with a trust worthy site

Why launch the Irish version of Amazon and then deliver a rubbish delivery service? When I ordered from .co.uk delivery was perfect. Irish Amazon has a different approach. They don’t seem to care about timely delivery. Seriously, what is going on? So disappointed

I have two outstanding orders with Amazon ie. One has been with UPS and all I keep getting is a failed attempted delivery notification daily. Another package is coming from France via FedEx and hasn't even moved in a week. Both are overdue. Amazon.ie is a complete fiasco. My Temu orders from China are always on time or early. I'm done with Amazon!

Switching back to amazon uk as An Post seems to be the main delivery channel. Shocking delivery service - my first experience with the Irish Prime delivery service, the paakage was reported to be "handed to resident" but the packages were delivered to the wrong house (a good 200m away) and the owner of the wrong house was on holidays so it was just left outside. Thankfully between the neighbour and the residence whatsapp group, I was reunitied with my order.
My second experience, my order was out for delivery but since has been "put on hold" citing further information required for delivery... its a pretty simple address, in a large housing estate, with an eircode. Reallu disappointing as always shop on amazon, and never had an issue with delivery via An Post.

The delivery is so so slow on items that are not coming from Ireland, and there is so little Info on the tracking page, I ordered an item a week ago which said it would take 7 days ( would of got it in 3 days max from the .co.uk site) I went ahead with it as I was not I a rush for it. Item is due today but when tracked all the info it gives me is left carrier facility on the 29th (again 7 days ago at the time of writing) its such a shame since it has the opportunity to be a much better run "site"

Absolute garbage, it's just a front for Amazon UK with fewer features. The search function is terrible and shows books half of the time, it's got a barebones inventory compared to the other versions, delivery somehow takes longer than ordering from the UK site, even though the items are still coming from there. Prices are higher, the website is janky. It's a half-assed effort by Amazon and it shows. Even with Prime it makes no difference to the shipping times when almost every item is due to arrive weeks ahead. Most of the items charge for shipping even when you have Prime. They've given us a barely functioning and absurdly inferior version, and they expect us to pay the same price for Prime? It's insulting.

Look at the reviews and feedback, sort it out!

I have noticed that several items I have ordered lately have not arrived on time. Currently one item is running late and another item that is due to be delivered today shows no signs of being dispatched.

I have three other items, which I ordered lately and unfortunately I have no confidence that any of them will be delivered on time.

Think it’s time to reconsider my shopping relationship with Amazon.ie as poor customer service is a major turn of for this consumer

Poor stock levels, extremely slow delivery or no delivery at all.
Amazon was the best online company years ago but are an absolute disaster now.
I will be closing my account.

Had no problems with Amazon in general
quick delivery, products are in general of a good quality for the price.
But..., there is practically no customer service, no phone to call or email, or in general it's very difficult to find how to contact them when there is an issue.

I didn't even bother as everything was same delivery time or slower than Amazon UK why bother

I’m very frustrated with Amazon Ireland since they switched over from using the UK website, I’ve been using Amazon with prime for years through the UK website and never had any issues always received my packages within the giving time frame.
Started using Amazon Ireland over the last 2 weeks and ordered 5 things, every single one of them is late , still waiting on 2 and 1 got cancelled undeliverable the day after it shipped. Terrible service. Should have never changed.
