I visited the lovely Ruth at Amara ; have been a few times now, firstly for Botox, to erase the middle brow frown, very pleased! Not frozen I’m also ( now ) a fan of the Profhilo I have had the treatment on my neck and face before and this was a follow on, but on my neck only this time . Love this treatment , I really can see the results ,helps to firm skin.
I’m also I’m the middle of a six week course of radio frequency, I have been speaking with Ruth on previous visits re jowls, Ruth recommended this along with a skin peel , I am not disappointed I can see the benefits , the radio frequency gives a subtle lift and a VIP glow with the skin Peel ( you get a lovely mask after too) .. yep was a mini spa day today!! Exactly what I wanted , dull skin no more , ready for spring

I visited Ruth yesterday for the earwax removal service she offers, for weeks my hearing had been substantially reduced, being unable to have clear conversations or hear people trying to get my attention was driving me mad. Coming to Amara was the best decision I made ! I’ve now booked some Botox injections too ! Thanks Ruth ❤️

I am fair skinned and I have acne scars & open pores. Ruth advised I have some micro needling (skin pen) with a minimum of 3 treatments to really see long lasting results.
The 3 treatments that I have received have definitely delivered what Ruth said they would, to the point that friends and family have said how much better my skin looks. I am extremely happy!
Immediately after my first treatment, I looked like I had a really bad sunburn, which is exactly what it felt like. The next day most of the redness was gone and on day 3, my skin was nearly back to normal. I am so impressed with the results that I decided to have further treatments.

Ruth is the best, had Botox 3 times previously by different people and it never worked, I really didn’t want to spend more money, but gave it one more chance and wow thank god I found Ruth I look and feel amazing it worked and I will 100% be coming back, I recommend her to any one thank you so so much

I’m so grateful I have found such a lovely and knowledgeable lady like Ruth. Her clinic it’s up to to the highest sanitisation and the views are across the lovely monkton fields. Her prices and professionalism can not be faltered. With 25 years medical experience you have the extra benefits of of her knowledge and regulating bodies (which medical accredited practitioners are governed by. Basically your in the safest of hands.)

I found gave instant results, and the Botox treatments where so gentle I could not feel the needle. Best products used. Win win 🥇 5 stars ⭐️

I visited Amara aesthetics for my first ever Botox! Ruth came highly recommended and I wanted a natural look with my lines smoothed out and that's exactly what she achieved. I'm totally delighted with the Botox and will be back, Ruth really put me at ease and I can see why she's got such great reviews....really interested in having some of the body treatments too in the future xx

I am visiting Amara aesthetics for on going chemical peels, my first experience there was great and I am already seeing results just from my first time. A lovely clean beauty room and Ruth makes you feel welcomed and is an all round lovely person.

I visited Amara Aesthetics to have Dermaplaning & a chemical peel. As it was my first time ever having these treatments Ruth explained everything to me in depth and answered all the questions I had, this really put me at ease and made the whole experience so relaxing. Ruth was very professional and fabulous at what she does, my results are incredible and exactly want I wanted to gain from these treatments.

From the moment I walked into the beautiful clinic I knew I would be receiving a polished service.
Ruth explained the Profhilo treatment very well to me, she asked was I happy to proceed with the treatment which I found very very professional , she only wanted what was right for me.

I have had three procedures from Amara Aesthetics. I had a consultation with Ruth where I discussed with her my needs. We talked about the outcomes of all procedures and what is involved. My first procedure was some Botox; I didn’t want the frozen/highbrow look and Ruth injected my skin with just the right about to relax my forehead and crows feet. I was given good aftercare advice.
Secondly I had Prophilo; again this was hygienically and swiftly administered without discomfort. I was told to get the best results two procedures would be necessary. I chose this procedure as my skin is dry and felt dehydrated. The overall effect is very good indeed. My skin looks plumper and fresher snd in the morning; even after a cheeky glass of wine, my skin still look rejuvenated and fresh! I’m looking forward to my final appointment of Prophilo to achieve the maximum results possible.
Thirdly I had Skin Pen. I needed this as I have lots of brown marks on my face due to hormones/sun damage. Ruth prepared my skin and carried out the procedure in no time at all. Some redness continued for a good 24hrs and was sensitive for about 2/3 days but I knew this would be the case as Ruth explained this to me; it felt like I had over done it slightly in the sun! The results of this will continue to come through as your skin renews but it creates a crisis in the skin which forces rejuvenation and collagen and I noticed how faded the brown spots are and how fresh, clear and bright it is.

I would thoroughly recommend Ruth as she has a nursing background which gave me confidence in administering aesthetics. I’m looking forward to my follow up appointments and will review those outcomes.
