Just completed the snow shoe adventure, what a fabulous few days.
We met a great group of people and many laughs were had.
Tom was great and so knowledgeable and accommodating with a serving of patience too…
The St Bernard hospice was an incredible place, St Bernard dogs also a highlight.

Snowshoeing Adventure 🏔️
What a trip!
Having never done any kind of snowy holiday this was a first for me and took me completely out of my comfort zone.
Still can’t believe how much Tom managed to fit into the trip.
Day one was just fun, fun and more fun in amazing surroundings with fabulous people.
Day two climbing the ascent to the Monastery and day three doing the descent was a real challenge for me personally but the guides (especially Tom) kept me going with constant support and motivation (plus tea and cake). Poor guy even had to haul me up off my bum at one point but never lost patience 😂.
The fact we managed to squeeze in sledging, cheese factory and walking the St Bernard doggies as well as allowing plenty of rest and recovery time is still blowing my mind.
Don’t think I’ve ever eaten so much cheese in 4 days but that can only be as good thing surely.
I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to meet like minded people and wanting an adventure.

What an incredible fun-filled few days of snowshoeing in the beautiful Alps with highly experienced guides - Tom, Matt, and Katie. Their support alongside the whole team got me to the top of the Saint Bernard Pass in challenging conditions. Staying at The Saint Bernard Monastery was such a special and humbling moment. We finished the trip on an all-time high walking the St Bernard dogs. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to experience a winter getaway with a difference.

This was an absolutely brilliant trip. We packed in loads into just 4 days. The snowshoeing was so much fun. The guides were patient and encouraging throughout (especially when I had unfounded worries about steep descents). We were treated to home made cake each day and there were delicious three course meals each evening. Meeting the gentle giants from Barry Land on the last day melted my heart.
I would defiantly recommend combing this trip with time to explore Geneva either before or after.

I hiked the Mont Blanc trail in August with the amazing Grigor and a fabulous group of fellow hikers.
As a solo female traveller I was a little apprehensive but it didn't take long before my worries were a thing of the past!
The whole trip was organised perfectly, from the transfers down to the vast information provided on what to pack and how to pack etc, where to go and what to expect.
Our group just gelled instantly and we all found Grigor was more like a friend on holiday with us than a guide doing his job (and doing it excellently!)
Grigor made us all feel at ease. He has a wealth of local knowledge and was so so patient with us throughout the trip. I had a small knee issue on day 2 and was so worried I was going yo have to give up, but with Grigors (and the groups) encouragement and patience I carried on and I'm so glad I
did.
The accommodations/refuges were well above what I expected being so high up in the alps and whilst some more basic than others, there was everything you needed and always a smiling face upon arrival from teh staff there. The food wasn't fine dining but was homely and plentiful
and again, still surpassed what I expected for being so remote at times.
For me, this was a trip to paradise. The weather was great and the flora,fauna and nature abundant.
I am just a walker and I must admit I found it super tough in places. The ascents are hard going. This is not a trip for a novice. That said, I pushed on and whilst not the quickest in the group I made it but you have to be mentally prepared to keep going up. As an ex smoker, at times this was tough.
However, it is doable with the support of a great guide and a great group to spur each other on.
I will never forget this trip and I wouldn't hesitate to go back and do more hiking in the Alps. I would also recommend using Alps Adventures and it will always be my number one choice.

Wow, what a trip!! I was travelling alone on my 25th birthday and thanks to the best people and the best views / locations, I had the most incredible time of my life. Tom was our guide and he was incredibly knowledgeable, encouraging, funny, caring and informative. It was my first time doing anything like this, and I was definitely one of the slowest in the group but Tom and the rest of the group helped me along and gave me lots of tips.

The huts were all perfect. The food was always 10/10, they were cosy and the views were incredible. The views of the Matterhorn on day 3 were out of this world.

This was a trip I will never forget and I strongly encourage everyone to do it! I met an incredible group of people, saw some incredible sights and made memories for life!

I recently embarked on a four-day hiking adventure in the Alps, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Our guide, Charles, was absolutely fabulous. His spiritual nature added a unique and enriching dimension to the trip. He even led us in yoga sessions, which were a wonderful extra touch that helped us connect with the stunning surroundings.
The accommodation was clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after each day’s hike. The food was delicious and satisfying, giving us the energy we needed for our daily treks.
The views were simply breathtaking. Every turn revealed a new, awe-inspiring landscape that left us speechless. The company was great too, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, this trip was an incredible journey that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the beauty of the Alps. Thank you, Charles, for making it so memorable!

Amazing experience. We were blessed with the weather. Charles was a fantastic guide. Started the first day at a slow pace and then adjusted it according to the groups feedback. Every evening we would say what grateful for and what was the highlight of our day. It really made you appreciate the little things in life so much more. He definitely made the whole trip more special.
Food was plentiful. Accomodation was basic but comfortable. You really do just need to bring the basics with you. Good basic level of fitness is needed. Some days are quite steep but the views are just breathtakingly beautiful and make it so worth while.

Amazing hiking Tour de Mont Blanc! The group was great and I thank everyone for making the challenge of the daily climb so much fun with great interactions.
it was all made possible by our excellent guide, Grigor who made sure we everyone was comfortable with their pace while keeping us together as a group from start to finish! His excellent explanations and briefings, guiding as we all true passion for the mountains were an inspiration and allowed us to focus on enjoying the experience of the climb and amazing landscapes, plus tacking us some tricks on how to use our gear most effectively! Highly recommend him and the experience especially sine we were tested in both good and not so good weather. It was a great experience! Thank you

What a fantastic experience of 4 days in the beautiful Alps! Very well organised and a very knowledgable lovely guide Alena. Managing the whole group, Alena was able to address everyone’s needs and make the trip so enjoyable. I am fairly new to hiking (first time in the mountains), but with guidance I learned to be more confident and independent (I didn’t want to take walking poles at first, but Alena knew much better! :) ). One of my best holiday experiences - challenging, enjoyable, and absolutely beautiful!

The best experience of my life. Solo traveller. I met the most amazing, like minded group. Charles (our tour guide) was impeccable. Could not wish for a more amazing, spiritual person. He supported and guided us through an adventure we never expected. He taught us how to soak up the experience and views.

The group I was with were versatile. From different walks of life and each person I absolutely loved and can't wait to meet again.

We had an amazing guide GUY the main man. He was professional safe funny and caring top guide. It is an experience I will never forget the mont Blanc hike filled with amazing scenery and GUY had so much knowledge of wild flowers snd nature a 10/10 experience I would highly recommend this trip

Matterhorn Highlights was my second trip with AlpsAdvenures having done the 4 day Tour du Mont Blanc last year. I went as a solo traveler again and met the most incredible bunch of people, who I would now call friends. Tom was our guide and we all felt safe and looked after throughout. He was very amusing with his singing, stories and full of facts about the mountains. All the huts we stayed in were clean and had hot water showers. Food was good throughout too. The scenery was breathtaking at every turn! I had another fantastic trip with this company and would highly recommend them.

Highlights of the Matterhorn 24 ! Great trip and great people with good guidance from our guide Tom, who was supportive and helpful.Challenging and rewarding at the same time. If you are in any way interested or gave done a bit of hiking this trip will definitely make you fall in love with hiking all the more. Absolutely worth the trip. The Alps keep on giving at every stage of the hike, breathtaking views. Amazing experience 💕🇨🇭🇨🇭

A super adventure which left us wanting more. Weather was so kind to us sending light snow instead of rain! We had 2 guides. Charles loves his yoga and philosophy which was sometimes a little misplaced for everyone in the group. Nevertheless, we all learned something from it, and I hope Charles learned something from us as a group, and what a fabulous and funny group it was. One of life's privileges to have walked with you all. Charles pushed those who wanted to see some of the most special sights few will every experience (first 2 days we were not on TMB due to an adjustment in the plan, but this was just a bonus). Jose, our training guide was exceptional. You have the knowledge and a deep heart for this Jose and your passion for both the mountain and the people you meet. Thank you for both guides for keeping us safe and sharing a special mountain with us and thank you to our perfectly funny, warm, and caring group of beautiful human beings.
Useful tips: stretchy shorts under walking trousers double as sleeping shorts. X2 walking trousers is plenty, try to make 1pr waterproof, (not the over trousers type). 2 t-shirts are plenty, X2 active long sleeve tops, also work as pjs. Socks, pants, hat gloves, towel, toothbrush. You can easily live without the rest but chargers and phone with foot are essentials were also useful.

it was my first experience in hiking .program was wonderfull weather was very good at that time .what makes this hiking good is our guide Gregory was very helpful very informative he cares very much about every one we learn alot from not only hiking experience but also about nature live and plants and also
some animals in mountains .good experience for me .Will definatley go again with him

The 4 day hike on the TMB was an amazing experience enhanced by the knowledge, experience and professionalism of our tour guide Grigor who carefully guided differing abilities in some difficult conditions, his local knowledge on the route was so interesting and was a pleasure being in a group of interesting and really nice people, can't wait for another challenge next year

The 4-day Tour du Mont Blanc was fantastic! The scenery was breathtaking, with incredible views that made every moment worthwhile. I am so glad to have had such an amazing group of people to share this journey with.

A special mention goes to our guide, Mr. Grigor. He was incredibly caring and paid attention to every detail, ensuring we all felt comfortable and safe. His expertise, combined with his warm and welcoming nature, made the experience even more enjoyable.

Overall, it was an incredible adventure with a fantastic team, lots of laughs, and an outstanding guide. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a well-organized and memorable hiking trip. Can’t wait for the next adventure!

I've just returned from an incredible Tour du Mont Blanc trek with the wonderful Grigor as our guide. It was the most wonderful four days: challenging, fun, stunningly beautiful and I keep asking myself when I can do it again. Grigor was a great guide: he educated us, was supportive, flexible, personalised the treks to ensure it was doable for all abilities and sensitive when things were tougher. I'm so grateful!

We have just finished the Mont Blanc highlights tour and all I can say is WOW!

Our guide, Sabrina, was the BEST. She was so calm and knowledgeable. She was really good with the slower group at the back of the pack (which included me!), setting a steady pace and keeping us all motivated.

There were times I felt that I wouldn’t have made it to the end of the hike without her!

We had a fantastic group of people on our trip, all from very different walks of life and we really bonded over our shared experience.

Some of the climbs were a challenge but the views at the top were worth it every time.

I will treasure the memories of the last four days forever. Thank you Sabrina and the team at Alps Adventures!
