This review is for Chris Payne who has been brilliant round our house.
Chris has done some painting , tiling and redone the sealant after some water damage due to a leak in the bathroom.
Not only has he done a great job but he is also well mannered and just got on with the job no questioned asked, thank you Chris.

Amazing customer service from Tareena…

Amazing customer service from Tareena at Allison homes. Nothing is too much trouble goes above and beyond to help. Also Kevin one of the operatives is such a nice guy and his work is to such a high standard.

Proceed with caution

The buying experience was great, they couldn’t have been more helpful. That is until problems occur. I have been trying to get my carpets and turf rectified since December. The garden is boggy and uneven and despite making fixes to others around me, they have refused to help.

The carpet was worn and delaminated after 6 months, it was also poorly fitted, with frayed edges and short runs. Instead of dealing with the issue they referred me to the floor fitter and carpet manufacturer- all blame each other and there is no resolution from Allison Homes .

Be very careful what you negotiate into any deal. I knew the carpets would be more entry level, but they are incredibly poor in quality and fit and it makes you wonder what else they have done cheaply. Despite sending out an independent assessor I have heard nothing back.

Our Customer Experience team has investigated the issues raised with your flooring by working with both the installer and the manufacturer. While no manufacturing defects were identified, we do recognise that some minor refitting is required, which we have offered to arrange for you. We remain keen to complete this for you and are awaiting your confirmation to proceed.
With regards to your garden, we have carried out further checks and can confirm that the ground conditions are consistent with natural settlement. Even so, we are committed to supporting you wherever possible and will continue to stay in touch to review any concerns you may have.
Your satisfaction matters to us, and our Customer Experience team will remain in direct contact with you until these matters are fully resolved.

I’ve been in contact with Tareena Page for support re some home fixes and works. Speaking to Tareena is always a breath of fresh air, she is personable, listens to your concerns and provides clarity on next steps and expectations. Excellent service, very knowledgeable.

My wife and I are looking to move our family into the Norwich area, and we discovered THE OAKS development. We booked an appointment at the marketing suite and were seen by ANNABELLE.
Annabelle was extremely thorough in her assessment of our needs and recommended the most appropriate homes before taking us to view them.
We fell in love with a property and Annabelle helped to explain the purchase process and helped us to reserve our (hopefully) new home!!

Very Disappointed

After making contact numerous times, attending the site and no staff there the office being closed on a friday afternoon.I eventually got a message and got booked in by a lady standing in for the rep.
Upon arrival today we went to the office and said hi we have an appointment at 12.30. The reply was "No you haven't I haven't got any appointments today" wow how to make you feel welcome. I showed the lady my tx booking and got told oh shes new she doesn't know what shes doing. Well I disagree,she had been very polite and responded very quickly and then booked us in.
We were taken to the show home the lady ran round turning lights on it wasn't set up to receive clients. She then left us to it. We had so many questions and no-one to answer them. We found the whole process from trying to make an appointment to turning up very slap dash. Luckily there are other sites around Grantham who are happy to book us in. Very Disappointed

AVOID - Small claims court action

We purchased a 4 bed property in the Kings Meadow - Fernwood estate
It was apparent to use that on the property handover, there was a brown tinge to our kitchen/utility hard flooring. This has clearly been caused by them leaving the door open to let dust in, while the hard flooring was drying. So now the dust is embedded into the vinyl
I then raised this with Allison homes a week later. Since then, they have sent 6 different people to fix/look at this over the course of 5 months. (1 was unnanounced)
After all of these, it still isnt resolved.
I then raised a formal complaint, this was acknowledged and they just suggested to send another person round. This would be the 7th person that i would have to have booked time off work for.
Every response they have sent is generically worded that doesnt address the issue, just a fake apology, and with no responsability taken.
You know, one of those robot responses you get from a live chat bot. That is borderline cringeworthy.
I have given them to the last day in September to give this a final solution. If i do no receive this i will unfortunately have to take them to small claims court for the cost of new flooring. As well as the time i have spent dealing with this, including loss of income.
Id recommend thinking twice before purchasing a new home from this company, they are fake when they say that they are customer focussed. Its all about money for them.

I shall be sharing this review on all of Google, Allison homes estate pages

I have given Allison Homes nearly 6 months to resolve this, which is more than fair

Wonderful Wootton!

We dropped in at Wootton Grange without an appointment whilst visiting Norfolk.
Tanya C was very welcoming and was very happy to rearrange her morning activities and take us around the show homes, discuss the development and answer our many questions.
We left with an arm full of information and an appointment to return but most of all we had an excellent visit and Tanya C was very knowledgeable and thorough and provided great customer service.

Blown away!

Met with Sean, engaging communication, willingness to show where the plot was, good relationship with residents already on site.
Blown away with quality, space and finish.
Had been to see other new builds and disappointed so didn’t actually have high hopes…..oh what a turnaround! Really glad we went.

Excellent experience

I have had a fantastic experience at The Oaks, right from my first visit to today- 5th day here.
Sophie has been amazing assisted by Annabelle. Always on hand and going the extra mile with a lovely manner and bright smile, despite my persistent phone calls and drop ins. Steve has also been brilliant - very informative and again service with a smile. Between them they have sorted all the little issues I have had in quick time.
All staff on site have been very friendly and helpful which has meant moving in on my own has been a pleasure and not stressful at all.
I am very pleased with my Dogwood and would like to thank all at Allison Homes.

Sales and Site Team

From the first viewing to completion the sales team have made the whole purchase an easy process with clear guidance and good humour. Tanya C has been a godsend and with the assistance of Damian B the site manager the buying process has been a stress free thankfully easy experience. Nothing is too much for them and are helpful even after completion. Val was also part of the initial process and all that we can say is from our experience Alison Homes are a very good company to deal with

A Developer and a Team You Can Trust

Since we knew Allison Homes were coming to Moulton Chapel we knew we had to get our first home with them. From the initial private invitation day for early bird reservationists to today, we have experienced nothing but professionalism, a family friendly like business and flexibility like no other.

This wouldn't be possible without the team at Chapel Gate and other sites but especially for Josh. I have met and worked with a lot of people, but he is a genuine and caring person who has worked so hard to look after us since day 1. We have had some personal set backs but they were allocated for and we were treated like family, helping us reach our goal.

Although we have not finished the process, it is a shame that Josh is moving on, but after meeting other members of the team, we know we are in safe hands. If you're going to buy you first home or fancy a change of scene, you can get a quality build in fantastic areas.

Tanya and Damien have been fantastic…

Tanya and Damien have been fantastic with everything on the buying of my new property. Tanya for dealing with every question (there was alot) and dealing with me when getting stressed out made it a super easy and a friendly interaction. Damien has been faultless with everything from sorting every little teething problem I have come across, there and then . Second to none customer care and would highly recommend.

The properties at Primrose Meadows in Devon are amongst the very best on the market.

All the staff at Primrose Meadows Devon were extremely helpful (in particular Bart Kalshoven, Caroline Lunness and Sadie Gilchrist as were all the support staff on site), and the quality and design of the homes was far superior to any others I had viewed. The layout of the site and the consideration for the environment (gardens, green areas, trees, bird boxes, etc), was the very best I had seen across several counties.

I have lost trust in their word

I like the houses at Chapel Gate and the neighbourhood feels very welcoming. However, I’m leaving a negative review because Allison Homes repeatedly failed to follow through on promises and communicated poorly throughout the process. On multiple occasions representatives offered extras or promotions that were not honoured—whether the offer was verbal or written. My advice to anyone considering buying here: scrutinise the terms and conditions, get any promises in writing, and keep copies of all communications. Allison Homes, please improve your communication and honour commitments.
