Almost 3 years never get my refund I paid them £1000 for my daughter British passport they actually did not do anything for me apart from lies, £1000 may be a small amount but as a single mother it is a big amount I’m still pay this loan till now, if you see this message please I need my money back and you know you didn’t do anything but still take the money , I’m just thinking are they going to be happy collecting peoples money and do nothing, I hope they will refund me so I can pay to someone i borrowed from so everyone can have peace.

KEEP AWAY AT ALL COST. Specially where Humaira Anjum works.
There are many better options who knew the law, who can take the responsibility and who responds.

On July 2, 2025, I paid £2,400 for a partner visa application service via a distance contract. No written contract, client care letter, or terms were provided, breaching SRA Code of Conduct requirements. They promised a secure questionnaire but never sent it, with no case file opened.

On July 3, during a delayed Teams meeting, the solicitor (Humaira Anjum) gave wrong advice, admitting ignorance of the 7-day residency rule for civil partnership notice in a non-residential district. On July 7, she incorrectly claimed the ceremony could be held "anywhere" without venue confirmation, contradicting UK regulations, and rudely suggested canceling a non-refundable appointment. Emails on July 3-4 and over a dozen calls were ignored or poorly handled, with no substantive work evidenced.

I canceled on July 6, 2025, within the 14-day cooling-off period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, expecting a refund by July 20. They initially refused a full refund, citing unproven "time spent." My July 16 Letter Before Action set a July 30 deadline, ignored. On July 25, they promised £2,400 but cited invalid terms; on July 28, they requested ID and bank details, promising payment by August 11, yet provided no legal basis for delay.

Only taking them to court secured the late-night August 11 refund via faster payment, with no email confirmation, raising doubts about their status as real solicitors. Their extreme rudeness, lack of apology after this ordeal, and emotional toll make them a waste of time. Avoid.

STAY AWAY ABSOLUTE CON OF A COMPANY!!

We have been waiting on a decision from the courts since October 2024 we have tried to contact our solicitor in Alison law who’s name is Talat and not heard back from her once until a few weeks ago to tell us she has left Allison law we was denied at the courts and she had asked someone to send us the denied email and letter to which no one has, we have contacted the company to find these emails no one responds we have contacted Talat herself still no response
I have opened a case with the ombudsman as we still have not received our paper works or anything

I can safely say Nadeem is a very, very bad worker. My visa was denied about 3 weeks ago, and he STILL has not replied to any of my emails. Thats insane. You pay a lot of money and they won't even reply? AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Worst solicitor even had my childrens passport eventually i did everything and my wifes spouse visa it's just for biometric then nadeem ahktar decided to put date when I was waiting for the passport fast forward been waiting for over a year now everyday call i get nothing emails for response nothing whatsoever very unprofessional stress is what you get

I am deeply dissatisfied and seriously concerned about the way Alison Low's solicitor firm has handled my husband's immigration case.

I made the full payment of £2200 upfront and specifically requested urgent legal assistance due to the emergency nature of this matter. It has now been almost two years, yet there has been no meaningful progress on the case. This situation has caused extreme emotional and legal stress for me and my family.

From the outset, I have provided all the documents and information requested by your firm in a timely and complete manner. Despite fulfilling my responsibilities as a client, Alison Low Solicitors' team has consistently failed to meet its obligations.

Alison Low Solicitors' firm has shown a complete lack of communication and professionalism. I have sent numerous emails which have gone unanswered. My phone calls are consistently ignored, and when I attend your office in person, I am dismissed or told that no one is available, with the excuse that the solicitor is too busy to speak with me. This behaviour shows a shocking lack of respect and responsibility from a regulated legal service provider.

It is clear to me now that Alison Low Solicitors' firm has taken my money, made promises of urgent action, and done absolutely nothing in return. This is not just poor service—it is negligence and misconduct.

I have now instructed a new solicitor to take over the case. She will be contacting Alison Low Solicitors' shortly with the appropriate consent form. I am demanding the immediate release of the full case file and all documents related to Mr. K. Singh without further delay or excuse.

I am also demanding a full refund of all fees paid. I have received no service of value and no professional support despite trusting Alison Low Solicitors' firm and pay

She strongly advised me to proceed with an “urgent case” and influenced my decision by asking intrusive personal questions about my savings and employment. This was done prior to pushing for full payment. I found her approach to be highly manipulative and inappropriate.

🔹 TALAT JABIN
This solicitor displayed a consistently unprofessional and unpleasant attitude. Her communication lacked respect and courtesy.

🔹 MOHAMMEDI (Complaint Handler)
His behaviour during our conversations was extremely rude and disrespectful, especially for someone in charge of handling complaints. His attitude was dismissive and unhelpful.

Both individuals repeatedly made promises but failed to take any meaningful action. Their communication left me confused and stressed rather than reassured.

My experience with Alison Law Solicitors was extremely frustrating. Once they received the payment, I was ignored and left without support. I expected a professional legal service but was met with manipulation, poor communication, and disrespect. I would caution others before proceeding with this firm.

Waste of time and money. Bahdshah is the worse lawyer I ever had to deal with.
UNRESPONSIVE, have to chase for weeks or month.
Everything he done for me I could have eventually done myself but faster.
Never in the office, never available!!!! I feel scammed by Alison law!!!! DO NOT RECOMMAND! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND MENTAL HEALTH!

Worse ever - Thy are just not professional

Hi there I've applied for further Leave to Remain with Alison solicitor, never got any response from them emails after emails and phone calls would always end in the same way the solicitor isn't here s/he would pass on the message to my assigned solicitor.No reply for the past 3 years since April 2022.Total scam and shambolic and just grabbed your money 💰 and ran away and stayed silent 🔕 for the rest of the time.Please avoid them at all cost anyone who knows what a good service for money is.thanks for your dishonesty and decisive Alison solicitor firm in Manchester.

A bunch of crooks , I phoned and lovely Shelly came on the phone told me £1500 for a fiancée visa , ok I didn’t want to do it wrong myself so I paid in 2022
As the English test was becoming a problem I decided to tell them to do a visitor visa ,, they rang me back as I was getting on a plane in Bristol no problem they said , how are you going to pay , I said yes the money you already have , can’t do that Shelly said that’s ring fenced for the fiancée never a later date , now I’m about to go and she said we can get this processed for you in 7 days while your away but you need to pay now , stupidly I did
It was months before they put the application in and did it wrong , I phoned and spoke to Nadeem Aktar the solicitor, what a lying b,,,,,,, , he did he would oversee it and put it in again
They did and made it worse because they just put it back in as was but this meant that the question , have you applied before was no , so the refusal came the second time with the added comment that you lied
I complained again and said that’s ring fenced enough send me back my money from the fiancée visa and I’ve heard nothing in over 9 months
Anyone thing these should expect to get ripped off
I have offered to come collect the cash if they find it difficult transferring it back to my account

Once they took the money we never heard from them about the case. Honesty i don't know how law firms like this operate legally in the UK without any oversight on their activities. Avoid this company and save yourself £2000 on a visa application. They took £2000 from me for my spouse to obtain a visa to come over to the UK for 6 months.

Once they have taken your money you can only contact your designated solicitor by email and they rarely reply to you, Or it's just a short message and no phone call to discuss your application.

First off I spoke with Muhammad from Somalia and he sold me their services and convinced me that my spouse would get her visa....this proved to be incorrect information and when he delegated Bahdshah Khan to me the communication was non existent and he would only accept email and never replied.

This is a very unprofessional team of solicitor's who are unable to process a visa application and have very limited knowledge of the process involved and will take your money and provide you with nothing

Extremely Disappointing Experience

We hired Alison Law Solicitor to assist with our case, hoping for professional and effective service. Unfortunately, our experience was quite the opposite. Not only did they fail to provide any meaningful help, but they also charged us an outrageous £1200 for absolutely nothing.

Communication was poor, updates were non-existent, and it felt like we were left in the dark most of the time. When we reached out for clarification and assistance, we received vague and unhelpful responses.

It's clear that we wasted our hard-earned money and valuable time on a service that promised much but delivered nothing. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before engaging with Alison Law Solicitor. We regret our decision and hope others can avoid the same mistake.

Well started of great went a bit side ways with communication, but after bringing it to there attention, the communication thereafter was never a problem.

My case for my husband spouse visa I always been
made aware of the risk involved, but allison law were confident and took it on.

So thank you so much all who helped and assured me was going to be ok iram zafar, shabnham butt and nadeem aktar I do believe it was down to the representation letter which was spot on visa was approved. So nadeem thanks once again
