$900 USD spent over 2.5 years. Everything is starting to go or already gone rancid. Its a problem they ignore (look it up on reddit) and their customer service denies it completely. Plan to use the entire bottle quickly. They even have a 2 year disclaimer on their website. All my fragrances initially smelled amazing and high quality, but time proved different.

Bought 30ml Leather Intense, it was utter rubbish, water with a hint of scent. Never felt so scammed as l was by this below par weak perfume.

I was certain that no one would be able to duplicate the 1966 version of Christian Dior’s Eau Sauvage. I was wrong. These guys hit the nail on the head. I was so impressed and pleased. I can’t afford to wear Dior’s fragrance casually every day but now I’m able to. The one thing that I wish that could be adjusted would be the length of time it lasts. The original doesn’t last very long either and this is about the same. However, an extra spray on to your shirt keeps it lingering throughout the day. I can’t wait to try other selections!

Proceeded to take my money and tell me they delivered my item but they can't tell me where they sent my item to and say they have no address on file but they did indeed take my money they have their priorities backwards

Don’t order if you are in Canada, they charge a $29 dollar shipping fee then you get slapped on an import fee of $60 dollars which they don’t really tell you about.

They did have an international shipping note at the top but honestly it was so easy to miss so unless you are ready to pay $80-100 a shipping fee, stay away!

You're probably reading this to see if it's worth taking a risk on buying a fragrance from Alexandria Fragrances - just like I did a few weeks ago.

I decided to take the jump based on Alexandria Fragrances’ claims of strong projection and long-lasting performance due to the 'extrait' concentration of their perfumes.

Long story short - this is not what I received - Far from it.

The scent of if the perfume itself? Great.

But the performance? Shockingly poor. As in the worst performing fragrance I've ever experienced in my life. I can't put in to words how poor the performance is of the perfume I received from Alexandria Fragrances.

My first time ever trying the perfume, the projection lasted around 5 minutes. This was warning sign number 1.

Warning sign 2 was that the fragrance was gone within less than an hour on skin. My first reaction was "Huh? This cant right!".

I thought maybe I had gone nose blind, so I asked my wife to smell my wrist around 45 minutes after spraying it. She said she couldn't smell anything. I tried it on clothes - same result - gone within 2 hours. That is unacceptable for any fragrance, let alone an 'extrait'.

I tested this multiple times on clean skin, moisturised skin, and clothing to give it every possible chance. Same result every time. The smell was gone.

I contacted the company assuming this was a batch issue. I made it very clear that I did NOT want a refund. I was simply expecting them to acknowledge the problem and do the right thing I.e. inspect the returned perfume, confirm the performance was poor, offer a replacement product. Simple. The basics of good customer service.

I even offered to return the bottle (at my own expense) so they could inspect it themselves.

Instead, my concerns were dismissed. FYI, don't expect a fast response from their email customer service. I still haven't received a response to my two emails - I had to contact their WhatsApp number to actually get a reply - this isn't quick either.

I was told the owner had tested the batch himself and that the fragrance is performing 'as intended' and that the issue is likely that I have gone nose blind. Yep. You read that right.

That explanation does not hold up.

A fragrance that disappears within an hour on skin is not performing correctly - and therefore, not fit for purpose.

At that point, the issue became the complete lack of accountability. There was no proper investigation of the perfume I received (the bottle I received itself), no resolution, and no effort to put things right—despite me not even asking for my money back.

All I wanted as a customer was for them to do the basics of any good business - acknowledge that a fault has occurred and try to put it right.

Instead I was told the fragrance is fine and that due to the 'DNA' of the perfume, this is how it should perform. I'm very well aware that some fragrances are room filling and last 8+ hours - while others project for 3-4 hrs. If some of your fragrances are only intended to project for 5 minutes and last an hour on skin, don't advertise the opposite on your website i.e. your perfumes have increased longevity and projection.

As a customer, I told you it projects for all of 5 minutes and lasts on skin for an hour. I told you I didn't want a refund and simply wanted you to rectify this situation for me. I even offered to return the fragrance to you without a refund, and at my own expense. I explained to you I truly wanted you to understand what I mean by lack of performance, not so you could correct it only for myself, but for future customers as well.

I'm really disappointed at how they handled this situation. They've now lost a future customer and custom from those reading this review.

Based on my experience, I would STRONGLY advise others not to purchase from Alexandria Fragrances. Don't get stung like I did.

Ive made 5 purchases and had a good experience each time. Their fragrances are so so good too, often beating their niche competitors. Im very happy with this brand

Everything was 5* except for the fragrances which were not very similar to original.

They don’t accept returns if you don’t like the fragrances.

SO, only order the smallest amount they offer before you purchase a larger size. They make it more expensive to order smallest size but you’ll save money that way if you don’t like it. Wish I knew that before ordering.

I ordered two fragrances: OMBRE NOIR 2.0 and Bleu Memoire. Received the products yesterday. I tried and they both are terrible. They smell very weak. The "Bleu Memoire" does not smell anything like Bleu de Chanel. Total waste of money. The response I got from Alexandria UK was simply to give me a 20% discount for new orders. I'll not buy from them again.

I ordered La Dolce Vita, fast delivery, expensive and customs clearance to the European Union, the packaging and the bottle itself are top notch. I really love the original from Dolce Gabbana, but after the update it became less rich and deep. And this fragrance is a work of art, I honestly did not expect that there would be such a rich fougere bouquet, this is something extraordinary and magical, a deep combination of thick and unobtrusive brightness, exactly what I remembered from the original men's perfume. I do not know who writes bad reviews here, but I will only have the highest marks. Thank you very much and I recommend it to everyone who appreciates quality perfumes.

I purchased two fragrances from Alexandria Fragrances. Shipping was fast and the presentation/packaging is excellent. I was charged the appropriate amount on my credit card. The fragrances I ordered were not close to the originals. Ombré Noir 2.0 and The Ovation are unrecognizable. I don’t want to be mean because I believe someone, somewhere is trying to sell a passable product. The atomizers and bottles were excellent quality. But the fragrances do not pass. A $109 lesson YOU should not have to learn. Good luck.

The scent was bad at start but after a year it was better.

i've kept the bottle in the glovebox of my car together with versace and creed bottle for more than 2 years and recently moved the black panther bottle to my glovebox only 1 week. the alexandria bottle leaked completely empty from the casket/nozzle atachment. greedy alexandria claims that exposure to heat caused crimpage and cause of leaking empty. because of storing in glovebox warranty is voided. never happened to other brand perfumes in my glovebox that i have stored longer than 2 years. but they remove review from their website. if you are going to purchase any of their perfume in transparant bottles, i do recommend you to pay with creditcard to get a 2 year extended warranty for a chargeback because those greedy bastard mf will not compensate you anything if your bottle leaks completely empty, and make up their own theory to avoid paying you for damage or loss.

and wow!!! from uk to europe the shipping price is more expensive than from ordering something from China.

DO NOT BUY if you are in Canada. They ship it with UPS and you will end up paying DOUBLE because of the UPS brokerage fees. Horrible experience. Will never buy their fragrances again. I got a 30ml of Zion that ended up more expensive than an original fragrance (Elysium)

I wish I could give zero star. I bought a descovery set, and I would set, all fragrances had the same painful headache-causing base. On the surface, there is a bit of the original fragrance, but it's gone after a few minutes, and you are left with a huge headack. My 60 Euros, right to the waste bin.

Bought product that claimed to be a tom ford dupe for lost cherry...it smelled nothing like it, overwhelming almond smell...also read the fine print, you cannot easily make returns! It seems I was the one duped not tom ford

Mi experiencia ha sido nefasta en cuanto al perfume, no el servicio de entrega que por supuesto en DHL cada vez peor…pero no es culpa de Alexandria, lo que si es culpa de ellos es la barata caja, en el tarro una pegatina literal, y la frangancia…primero.- ni huele a elixir ni se le parece, yo estoy usando elixir por dos años y medio y a un tarro de 100ml cada 2 meses(lo se…una barbaridad!) y considere cambiar por eso del ahorro…pero nada! Una perdida de dinero y tiempo, el elixir es caro si, pero bien lo vale. No compréis este “fake” barato es una autentica vergüenza.

Utterly appaled at the Alexandria II Xerjoff clone I purcahsed. This smells utterly shocking and is the most chemical fragrance I have ever had my nose to. In terms of longevity this lasted no more than 2 hours. Don't waste your money on this and look elsewhere.

Ordered & received a 30ml bottle of Hawaii Volcano for $45 and received an $84 billing on my credit card.

Called the company without result; the owner was not able to reference the order....by name, date, product.

Worthless, and not to be repeated.

Mediocre to low quality perfumes in low quality packaging. Nonexistent customer service. I bought a 60ml perfume that lost 20ml during shipping. A third of the contents leaked into the packaging. I may have to write it off as a loss and throw it in the garbage as the smell coming from the packaging is really awful. I'm only holding on to it so I can return it. I'm not getting any signs of life from customer service. I might as well throw it out in the dumpster packaging and all.

It is a shame , as I found the quality of perfumes were very good and excellent dupes BUT their customer service is truly appalling.
The dispenser on their smallest size of perfume is a wind up container, this mechanism has now failed in the bottle of perfume that I bought 5 months ago . This bottle is at least 2/ 3 full still .
My first email was ignored , my second email was acknowledged with a curt , 5 months old can not help .
My third email pointing out that I can not access the 2/ 3 that is left....has been ignored .
So I am now done with this company.
Think carefully guys , a company is only as good as their products and customer service, and this one is a huge disappointment on one of those!
