A most characterful property in a fabulous location and with that most rare Aldebourgh feature car parking.

Apartment was clean and probably recently refurbished
Conveniently placed for the things we wanted to do
Could be a little noisy in the evening when the nearby restaurant was closing up
Stairs from the front door very steep
We felt that it was suitable for short, three or four night breaks, rather than for a longer stay as no access to any private outside space

Excellent service when a problem arose. Wonderful accommodation in great area. Close to besch shops an pubs.Own car parking space. Flat immaculately clean with a very modern kitchen and every available appliance anf kitchen utensil.

The team at Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages were unbelievably helpful and organised everything for a wonderful last minute break
The property 5 The Sanctuary was amazingly clean, spacious and modern with every possible convenience that you could need within 5 minutes of all local sites, amenities ,sports, pub and of course the beach
We visit Thorpeness every year but this was an exceptional experience all round

Great very friendly helpful company , we rang on the Friday morning to see if a cottage lodge was available . Gentleman took my details and got back to us within minutes . We booked and arrived later that afternoon , we had a lovely relaxing weekend in Aldeburgh , The Gun lodge was perfect , the photos dont do it justice , better than we thought. Lovely clean cottage lodge in aldeburgh 1 minute from the sea

We had such a fantastic stay in the Quarterdeck and will definitely return.
Beautifully presented, cosy and clean. Plus it’s very handy for the high street and beach.
My husband and I spend a mini honeymoon there in August and have some very happy memories .

This was our second visit to this property.
Great location for an early sea swim.
No Problems using the facilities of the Country club this time - Played a lot of tennis. Smooth booking and in getting access to property.
Property does need an overhaul - a good decoration would be a benefit.
Were problems with a mouldy smell in the ensuite bedroom, some hot water taps running too hot and the main heater for the boiler breaking during our stay. Staff were responsive in dealing with issues once reported.
The property was perfect for our needs and hope to visit again.

Just love this place ive stayed in suite 1 and suite 2 cant fault them
And im currently staying in the smaller maple out building still great but not as good as the suites

We had the opportunity to get away for a few days, and looked in the Aldeburgh area. Having looked at the various online portals, like Booking.com, Trivago, we came across Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages, who were able to find us a really nice bolt hole for the few days.It was so refreshing to be able to speak to a real person, which made the whole experience so much better.

No complaints about the booking procedure nor the cottage, which was nice, clean and in good location for us.

Clean,quiet, excellent location

Have used aldeburgh cottages for the last few years and have had great service! Nothing is too much trouble and if there have been any issues with the property it has been rectified quickly. Have had 4 different properties through them and using again next year

We had a wonderful week in Willow House. The well-equipped accommodation is perfectly located for exploring the beautiful coastline and countryside of Suffolk. We thoroughly enjoyed our break as a family group of seven and Willow House was perfect for our stay.

We stayed at 5 The Sanctuary, Thorpeness and have had the best week. The house is well catered, comfortable clean and tidy, perfect for a week with the family by the sea. An excellent house, and an excellent team at Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages. We will be back. Louise Aug 26

Great location - really helpful to have parking. Really spacious apartment - loved the lookout. Kitchen was very well equipped - we even bought some of the same items from one of the local shops.

Would definitely recommend.

It was beautifully kept apartment with views over the mere and house in the clouds with also the sea just steps away would come again in a heartbeat.

Fantastic service and such a nice house to stay. The north side of Aldeburgh is much more interesting with lovely walks to Thorpeness and the various public footpaths around there, across beautiful countryside and then the pubs to refresh and relax

Outstanding quality cottage. Beautifully presented by the change-over team. Comfortable. Great location. We were able to park outside, and so easy and convenient to walk everywhere that we were lucky not to have to use the car all week. Would definitely use Aldeburgh Coastal again and specifically the cottage we stayed at last time. Aldeburgh is a very special place. Great atmosphere, not too busy or hurried like a lot of other popular seaside places and a very lovely High Street full of independent eateries and genuine proper shops. Great little theatre and cinema too. Superb coastal walks.
