I passed first time all thanks to Dana!! I was extremely nervous at first and had no confidence but Dana was so patient with me explained everything throughly stayed calm and over all an absolute fantastic teacher, I could not of done it without him at all he made me believe in myself. Could not reccomend enough!!

Steve has been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. I’ve had a few different instructors but Steve just made everything easy to understand and built my confidence in driving. I will be forever grateful! Would highly recommend to anyone starting lessons.

I genuinely couldn’t recommend Maxine highly enough—she is an absolutely outstanding driving instructor. From day one, she created such a calm and welcoming environment that instantly put my nerves at ease. Learning to drive can be really daunting, but Maxine has this amazing ability to make you feel comfortable, capable, and in control every step of the way.

Her patience is next level—no matter how many times I needed to go over something, she never once made me feel rushed or under pressure. Instead, she explained everything clearly and in different ways until it really clicked. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but also so friendly and easy to talk to, which made every lesson something I actually looked forward to.
What really sets Maxine apart is how much she genuinely cares about her students. She doesn’t just teach you how to pass your test—she teaches you how to be a safe, confident driver for life. Every lesson was well thought out and tailored to my progress, focusing on building my confidence as well as my skills. She picked up on my weaknesses quickly and helped me turn them into strengths with encouragement and constructive feedback.

She also has a great way of keeping lessons positive and motivating, even when things didn’t go perfectly. Instead of focusing on mistakes, she helped me learn from them without knocking my confidence, which made such a huge difference to my progress.

Thanks to Maxine’s support, guidance, and belief in me, I passed my driving test and feel fully prepared to drive independently. I honestly don’t think I could have done it without her. after bad experiences with driving instructors nin really made me gain my confidence again, he not only is a great instructor he takes the time to listen and dose not rush anything! i couldn’t recommend him more i wouldn’t of done it without him!!

It was very lovely doing my lessons with Theresa she spoke to me straight and not sugar coat things I’m doing wrong which is what I needed a lot and thankfully it help me pass.

I passed my driving test today, and I couldn’t have done it without my amazing instructor Tony. He was patient, kind, and always made me feel calm and confident behind the wheel. No matter how nervous I felt, he supported me every step of the way and explained everything clearly. I have to say Nin genuinely changed my life. i’m 26 and had hours and hours of driving, never come close to test ready and thought I may never be. Nin was calm and kind and made it all so accessible for me. He is an excellent instructor, he’s personable but also professional. I passed first time after 20 hrs with him. I would say anyone looking to learn in the area to go with him - I had previously been with Gabriella at Succeed school of driving and she had been so angry, yelling & swearing at me. None of that here!

Rob has been a fantastic instructor, and helped me pass with a clean sheet. His patience, knowledge and calm & clear style of teaching has made the process genuinely enjoyable and easier for me.

He is also a very friendly instructor so I looked forward to each and every lesson. I cannot thank him enough for this. I’ve gained a lot of confidence driving now and this wouldn’t have been possible without Rob and ALB.

The test was booked quickly and the lesson structure made me feel prepared going into this. I encourage anyone looking to pass with confidence to choose ALB for their driving course.

I started off with little experience didn’t know much about the road and roundabout i signed up for the 20 hour course and alb gave to me he is one of the most relaxed funny people you will meet thank you very much alb for getting me my license I really enjoyed the course and the time I spent with Nin

Tony is an absolute legend! He will take you from a nervous beginner to a confident driver ready for your test within a few weeks. All of this delivered through structured and clearly instructed lessons. Thank you Tony, would not have been possible without you and your team!

I completed my intensive driving course with my instructor Nin.

Nin was an amazing instructor. He was highly motivating, understanding and patient.

I began my weekly block of lessons on the 9th of March and passed my practical driving test the 14th of April.

Nin was great with constructive feedback and super with helping to build confidence.

I had my practical test booked for me with 2 weeks notice, I had went abroad and came back 3 days before the test date. This only gave me little time to get in as much practice before my test. I was very anxious and felt soo overwhelmed. Nin was very understanding and supportive he was able to support me in the best way. His teaching methods are brilliant. He was extremely friendly and chatty.

On the day of my test both myself and Nin had my final lesson. During this lesson I managed to get a huge bolt in the tire around 35 minutes before my test. Nin was very calm and relaxed. Thankfully he had his other car which I was able to use instead (bearing in mind I had never drove this other car). We returned to retrieve his other car and I drove this other car to the test centre. This was my time to adapt to the different car, this was super overwhelming, I was convinced I was going to fail. We arrived at the test centre just in time and I took the test. I came back with a pass!!

I couldn’t recommend anyone other than Nin.

ALB was amazing, they paired me with an instructor who was really suited to me and my learning style. They were able to fit around my work schedule and contact was great.

Dealings with the Team at ALB around test timings all very positive and the helpful.
Test passed and now on the road. Glad I chose to use ALB to get there

Had Martyn For a 20 hour intensive driving course, From start to finish he has been a great teacher, he doesn’t make you feel uneasy and encourages you to have more driving time rather than sitting and talking in the car.

Martyn had excellent communication from start to finish and his pass rates are exceptional. If you need anyone Martyn is the man.

Great experience. Feltlike we were always able to get loads done in a lesson, and everything was explained very well. Passed first time!

My driving instructor Nin was amazing. Prior to my intensive driving course, I had spent £2000 on lessons with multiple instructors and failed my test with 15 minors and 2 majors. After learning with Nin and driving his audi a3 and golf R, I passed my test with no minors at all. Best money I have ever spent and would recommend everyone to learn with Nin too.

Steve is a really good instructor he helped me with passing my test in just a month. He was very supportive throughout and really helped me confidence on the road which i struggled with before.
