Don't be fooled by the professional website. When my 2 people eventually turned up, you wouldn't have known where they came from. None of these fancy uniforms or even a liveried van (which was a complete nail and had a flat tyre). As with other reviews, the van was too small so items were left behind and have been lost; but it isn't their fault !!

They have also damaged items that are no longer fit for purpose - but again, it is not their fault.

They have offered me £100 for items worth just over £1,000 what are 'missing'. Take it or leave it.

Avoid at all costs. So unprofessional.

Last minute removals was needed as the one we had, couldn't do it last minute. Albert Miles was able too, all was great again. HOW WRONG. Turns out about a week later of moving in, when I took the shrink wrap from around my draws, I noticed an empty jewellery box sleeve. Then I noticed other boxes was gone too. The 3 foreign guys that homemove arranged to move out stuff, had taken 2 rings, 1 that my parents bought me years ago and then a very sentimental ring that my grandma left me, the 1 and only thing I ever wanted as a kid and 2 pairs of earrings were gone too. Yes in away its my fault for leaving them in my draw, but I didn't think at the time, as the long awaited move was all last minute. But you should be able to trust removals not to steal. Company has done nothing about this, probably haven't even chased the guys up, and most likely they will use them again for others. Well just watch yourselves and your stuff and be carefull out on the roads, as these guys really overload there vehicles, way past the weight limit. I'm amazed they didn't have a blow out and kill any innocent people on the M5 or any other roads, let alone fall asleep at the wheel as the hours they worked and distance. Seems like a few laws are broken.

Steer clear.....My mother booked removals for 28:11:2025. The date on the original paperwork was incorrect as confirmed by yourselves on a telephone call at 9.11am when I Lisa (daughter) called to pay the balance. You also confirmed on this call the times booked, and the services booked were for a full removal and setup delivery to each room required. 
The time booked was for 11:30 am to 12 as she needed to vacate the property by 2pm.
We had to call numerous times as no-one showed at the time agreed. I called 12:38, 12:48, 12:53 when you advised the removals were 10 mins away. 
At 13.45 the removals still hadn't arrived and a further 3-4 calls from my mum to yourselves advised the van was round the corner,  then on a following call that the van had broken down! 
A promise was made to have a replacement removal van to be at the property by 4pm.
The van arrived at 3.55pm with 3 Romanian guys who proceeded to slowly load the small van. Due to the size of the van only a portion of the house was cleared. We were advised that it would take 2 or 3 journeys and at this point we were advised they were only booked for 31 items and 1 journey!
19:00 pm, we left the half empty property to meet the removals and had to wait 20 mins as they went to get food on route! 
When they actually arrived, they unloaded the whole van apart from 2 mattresses and 1 bed frame into the lounge, piled high.
Both mattresses were filthy from the van floor , the sofa also I covered in marks and dirt, the sideboard has deep scratches all over the top, we have yet to unpack and unravel the mountain of boxes and other furniture to check the damages.
At this point and due to the time being after 8pm and damages , we told them to leave the property and end the removal.
We are now left with damaged furniture, half a house and garden still requiring removal , damaged and marks to flooring and walls and will be looking for a full refund and also compensation for the damage.

So very disappointed. I wouldn’t recommend booking Albert Miles via Homemove for your removals needs. Homemove talk the talk with discounts available if you utilise more than one of their services but we had the most stressful moving day, with poor processes and communication a major issue from booking to completion. I have to caveat the removals (allocation) team themselves were fantastic, efficient and professional, but being overworked. With back to back bookings and very little time to rest or sleep before the next job started!
The way Homemove and Albert Miles work together needs an overhaul - their automated confirmation emails listed the wrong arrival time at booking stage, the final payment listed on the account didn’t deduct the deposit already taken, and on the move day itself they left us with a complete communication blackout. With their previous job over running, we were bumped to the far end of our arrival window, but no heads up via email, message or call was received, and with two little ones needing their beds we were incredibly stressed and frustrated trying to get any word from Albert Miles on an eta. In the end our babes had to stay with grandparents last minute while we supported the removers, finishing in the very early hours the next day. What frustrated us the most is the fact we made it very clear at booking stage that we had a family and routine in place and that we couldn’t move too late in the day. Then why was an afternoon slot recommended?! All in all, we wont be using Homemove or Albert Miles again.

We have moved from one end of the country to the other and the team from Albert Miles arrived on the day ( Saturday) on time. We only had one casualty, our TV but it may have been how we packed it, not the removal men's fault. They were friendly and helpful and treated our belongings with respect. Thankyou.

I had to cancel a booking the day before original move, let it be clear that I am very grateful with the outcome and empathy showed to me at that very stressing moment.

However, the service received on my second booking was appalling. Booking was confirmed to be between 9-10am. Nobody showed up. I called 20 times, left two voicemails and still nothing. as I booked via homemove I asks them to get in touch, I was eventually given a time. This did not happen either. Eventually they showed up at 1pm. The guys on site did a fab job, nothing against them they only had one hour and completed in 50min.

It was not until I officially complained that they finally apologised. Clearly, proactively doing so is too much to ask. Yes we settle with what they deem acceptable refund, it’s not. But let’s move forward and no I do not recommend.

We used Albert Miles for a flat move, to move a piece of furniture and to remove and store a three piece suite. We couldn’t fault them for any of the jobs completed, they were accommodating, on time, professional and so helpful. Albert Miles did our move on a Sunday and when we desperately needed a large three piece suite moving, they did it on that same day between 5 and 7 PM. Their team work so hard and they deserve 5 stars .

Albert and team did a fabulous job helping us with our home move. It was a long distance move. They were punctual, kind, hardworking and did a fantastic job. We are very grateful to your team. Thank you.

Albert Miles removals delivered nothing short of a dream experience. This was our first major move with a small baby over a great distance; in the thick of new-parent sleep deprivation and the chaos of packing around a baby’s unpredictable sleep schedule. From the start, they reassured me, checked in with me at crucial points leading up to the day, and even accommodated a last-minute time change (the day prior!) to work around the baby’s sleep regression.

On the day, the team arrived promptly and worked with a professionalism and efficiency that I haven’t seen in all my years of frequent moves. They packed the van with care, ensured nothing was left exposed or at risk, and transported everything safely. At our new home, they tackled countless trips to the top floor without pause, placed every box in its correctly labelled room, and followed our desired layout to perfection without us even asking or expecting any of it!

My husband who is usually hard to impress was blown away by this company and the service. We would love to thank Albert Miles and the entire team for turning moving day into something we’ll remember fondly because of all the amazing people (on the shop floor and behind the scenes) who made our day manageable (Dale was wonderful over the phone and so efficient in coordinating everything) and impressed us beyond words!

We received excellent customer service from Albert Miles from start to finish, they were reasonably priced and kept us updated throughout the process. We moved from Wales to Yorkshire and despite the long travel day, the lads were fantastic - loaded / unloaded quickly but still took care with our belongings. We were very impressed and would highly recommend.

Awful customer service experience. Received a call from a salesperson a few weeks after requesting quotes through a comparison site. Informed the salesperson that as it had been a while since I’d requested the quote I had gone with another company. Was told it was my fault that they’d not managed to get hold of me despite not having any missed calls from the company and was then sworn at and hung up on. Called back to make a complaint, was told it would be looked into and I would be got back to but nothing heard since contact since. If this is how they treat potential customers then I dread to think how they’d treat my possessions. Plenty better companies out there.

From my first contact with Albert Miles I had confidence they would do a great job. Fantastic customer service on the phone and all my questions were answered professionally and politely. They return calls within minutes if they aren’t able to answer the phone and as this was my first time using a removal service reassured me about the whole process. Tomas did the initial survey and he was polite and professional and the guys that completed the move arrived on time and worked their a**es off all day. They too were polite and respectful of my house and its contents. If I should ever move house again I would definitely use this company and I 100% recommend them to anyone who is. The fees charged were a fraction of the cost of other comparable companies. Thank you so much ☺️

Very poor service. Do not use.
They left a Vax, Microwave and rug behind because van was too full. They did offer to send someone to collect these the following day but the new people had moved in and there was no guarantee that stuff had not already been disposed of.
Drivers told us they had been up since 5, packed the house in Gloucester, drove to Basingstoke and unpacked. They stated they were then going onto Harrow to pack another house before driving back to Birmingham to drop stuff off at storage facility and wouldn't get home until 02.00. When I queried this with a staff member I was told I had assumed this. I told him I had not assumed as I had clearly been told this. He just talked over me until as I suspect he wanted I hung up on him in frustration

We had several quotes and at first were a bit dubious at how much cheaper they where but wow, absolutely brilliant company, communication was great, the guts that did the move worked like Trojans and took so much care of our belongings. Furniture was dismantled and reassembled, everything was placed exactly where we requested. Highly recommend them and 2 friends have already booked them for their moves.

Albert Miles were brilliant, arrived on time packed and moved everything without any damage. The guys were excellent and worked hard, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone. Well done guys.

If you're looking for a stress free move, this is the company to go for! From dealing with Dale & Darren over the phone and having them provide a competitive quote as well as answering all of my questions, to Andrius and his team arriving ahead of schedule on the day, the whole experience was faultless. Andrius and his team were polite, respectful of our property and extremely hard working. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

Such lovely cheerful guys, with a very professional approach. No job seemed too big for them, or small at both ends - at collection and bringing everything in. They made the entire process as stress-free as possible. Great value for money. Would 100% recommend them to anyone, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.
