Scammers, lost thousands of points because apparently I "didn't use the card for 2 years" which is clearly no the case as I used it last year at the LCBO. Stay away from them and use Aeroplan instead.

I have been a collector from day 1 (1990s). Never used any airmiles so that I could save up for a dream vacation for my family. Over the years I accumulated over 30,000 airmiles and finally decided to use them for a dream vacation to the beautiful Bahamas for 4 people during march break 2022.
First night of vacation, wrong room was given to us. Hotel manager upgraded us to another room and credited us 1 night. That credit was credited not to us but to and "vitrual card" that aimiles used to book the room as we used points for the room. Then on checking out, the hotel charged us a two night stay as in the system it wasn't paid by airmiles. This was a total of $1,855 which I had paid airmiles $456 + 21,000 airmiles when we booked a month before. All numbers are close estimates.
Trip was taken in March and I started my phone calls regarding these two issues to airmiles right after the trip. I was passed around for days to various departments, hung up on, told they were going to escalate and promised a call back over and over again. This took months. I had given up a few occasions until one day I said enough is enough. Finally got to the most honest person at airmiles who did finally escalated this to the right department. Two people who deal with this kind of issues. I only dealt with one of them and this person was obviously trying to do their job but had very little communication skills. Promised me updates, promised me returned phone calls......
Finally in December, I noticed a credit in my credit card statement. No call back to explain what happened. No call back to apologize for the months of being out of pocket the money they owed us. NOTHING. I tried calling back the 1-888 number of the 2 person department multiple times, left messages and no return call. The message on their system says all calls will be returned in 24 hours.
As you can already tell by my review, I do not do this very often, in fact this is my first review ever.
This was supposed to be a relaxing dream vacation for me and my family using airmiles I had saved up for over 30 years. Instead this tip cost me stress, anxiety and a lot of time trying to get my money back, over 9 months of calls, emails and voice mails. All I need is an explanation as to what happen? I do deserve that at the very least. Please, if you are going to use airmiles for anything be very aware. Be very very aware. First time using points and horrible experince!
Vancouver Airport Snowstorm
I had booked a flight for my son to fly home from Vancouver for Christmas. The airport was a mess due to weather and flights got cancelled and rebooking became difficult. I phoned air miles and got through to a wonderful customer service representative very quickly. She took my request to cancel the whole trip and said she would look into the situation and call me back. That afternoon she called back and the whole request had been handled beautifully. My air miles had been returned to my account and other costs are in the process of being refunded. I shudder to think of what would be the case if I had to deal with Air Canada.
NIGHTMARE Air Miles Reward Program
Absolutely brutal experience with their customer service program. We've spent the better part of the past two weeks trying to redeem a travel credit worth $850, and probably over 30 hours waiting for a call, requesting call backs only to be put on hold, receiving call backs to only have them disconnected, receiving call backs and being informed the "ambassador" is not equipped with the skills to handle our issues and being transferred further where we have to wait over 2 hours at the time of writing this without actually being connected to anyone who can help us. Just today two of us have each spent over 6 hours trying to redeem the credit that's owed to us - the. same credit they have previously outright refused to reimburse, exchange or allow us to use in any other manner. We're unable to utilize online services or any other means of redeeming our credit. Air Miles Reward Program is a complete NIGHTMARE. We'll be happy to have redeemed this credit (if we do), and then be done using this program indefinitely. The rewards aren't worth the hassle and stress.

22 YEARS COLLECTING AND THEY STOLE MY POINTS…
After almost 22 years of collecting air miles (since 2000) - They "retired" all my points. I am retired and can't spend enough to get reach to minimum $ to get points. And because they couldn't see any activity wiped out my entire history because. Even their partner do not respect their agreement. For example, I have a mortgage with major bank and I brought up a few times their partnership with Air Miles and they never accepted the card and give me my points. I will no longer collect points or frequent companies that use this fraudulent company.

After 22 years of collecting air miles - I have NOTHING. They deleted all my points. I was in a serious car accident in 2017 and they literally wiped out my entire history because I did not use the card during my recover. Sickening and vile company. I will no longer collect points or frequent companies that use this fraudulent company.

If I could give Airmiles App a ZERO I would. I can't tell you how many issues I have had with the in a line up at the LCBO where the App has signed me out and I can't get back in. The cashier is waiting for me to try and resolved it, meanwhile people are waiting. I have lost out on so many points, I can't even begin to describe it. You need to FIX THIS ISSUE NOW.

I broke my femur at work after using air miles card my entire life. I have my original card from 2015. After breaking my leg and being air lifted to hospital and getting immediate surgery, they canceled every mile I ever got. Even though I called and explained the circumstances. Aeroplan did not follow suit, and let me continue using the card and gave me all my earned miles back without even a second of thought. I honestly laughed out loud with my wife after the phone call with airmiles support, and like it's just miles who cares but omg let's punish somebody that couldn't walk for 2 years 🤪. Great job airmiles let's goooooo.

if i could leave a below 1 star i would, airmiles rewards should never be considered when you shop anywhere, if anything go out of your way not to shop there so people drop this pos company , (as a adjunct to this review. , i didnt use my airmiles card since just before covid and then i just didnt use it thru covid. i thought my airmiles are just banked, as it turns out , this is not the case, after a certain time not using your airmiles card, in the small print, the points are surrendered. i had 15000 airmiles collected and all were lost , they offered to sell them back to me at just over 2 thousand dollars , lol, that is more than they are worth btw, again, if i could give a negative star rating i would)

VERY frustrated with Air Miles
Lost my card. Phoned air miles / on hold for 20 minutes / asked if wanted a call back / responded yes / 2+ hours later got a call back but not a real person / no person available / told to reschedule appointment / choose a day / 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday etc (did this) told to choose a time (did this this) told to choose am or pm (did this) got response: "sorry looks like having a problem". Tried 3 x - each time changed day and time but each time got same message.
Unable to speak to someone on the phone so tried to chat: incredibly slow / instructions difficult to follow / was disconnected. Still don't have my questions answered.
Very bad service
Very bad service. Very bad customer care. They take ages to reply to an email and nothing is solved. Live chat is even worse. Server is disconnected all the time and I had to write my complaint all over again. The app never updates the miles. Honestly a total waste of time
Too long to get credit for bonus miles!
I have consistently been frustrated in the past regarding bonus air miles. When I contact them about missing Air Miles, I am told that it can take more than three months to see the miles awarded to my account. I need to hire a bookkeeper to keep track of al my transactions.
They should contact P C optimum program to find out how to credit bonus points on the SAME DAY of purchase. Shame on this pitiful organization!
I have been on hold for 45 minutes
I have been on hold for 45 minutes. Ordered merchandise on line 48 days ago and no sign of package. No way to get in touch. No email option. Called at exactly 8 am. I will cancel my Airmiles credit card and use a another program. Safeway is cancelling Airmiles this year so another reason this card is useless.

Wat een verdomde klerezooi is die site. Eerst krijg ik de melding dat mijn wachtwoord verouderd is en dat ik het moet resetten. Ik volg de link en er komt een mail binnen. Ik volg wat er gevraagd wordt en dan krijg ik een melding "ooops er is iets fout gegaan". Ik probeer het opnieuw en opnieuw en krijg de melding dat ik het te vaak probeer. Sodemieter op. Zorg dat je zaak op orde is. Wie heeft in godsvredesnaam bedacht dat je maar 1 x kan resetten op een dag. En wat is die melding "oops er is iets misgegaan?" Ja, bij jullie. Denken jullie dat ik niks beters te doen heb. Zorg dat je je zaakjes op orde hebt!!!
