Prompt service and site visit with helpful information on options and equipment. The Daikin products are high quality and we particularly like the low noise. The installation team, including electrician, were great - on time, efficient, pleasant to deal with and no issues to report. We would be happy to buy future products and services from this company.

I had great experience with Airconco. Malcolm was very prompt and helpful in answering my many questions before the purchase. Ivo was very thorough and explained in detail the possibilities for the installation. Aaron came to install the unit and was very professional and did a great job fitting the air con. I would definitely recommend this company.

Not the cheapest option but did a good job.
Did the job efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, explained about the different choices and the process during initial consultation and took me through how the unit worked and operation etc. while installing.

Huge, thanks for your kind words. We don't claim to be the cheapest and nor are we anywhere approaching the most expensive! Indeed, many air-conditioning companies subcontract their installation work to us, and put on a healthy mark up! We do claim to be the best though!

Beware if things go wrong
Beware if things go wrong, these guys will charge a fortune. The engineers are perfectly pleasant and seemingly knowledgeable, but to fix a fault with one of our units cost nearly as much as a new unit. Their whole attitude has been condescending throughout, and in the end took over 6 months to actually get a fix. You’d be better off going elsewhere imho. Or accept that was you’ll be paying through the nose for as long as you have the units.

Thank you for your feedback. We are always open to constructive criticism, but we would like to clarify a few key points to ensure an accurate picture of your experience.
We are proud to be the only air-conditioning company in the UK to offer a 10-year warranty on our installations. This extended coverage is available only to customers who maintain an active annual service contract, as regular maintenance is essential for ensuring the longevity and reliability of the units. When you chose to discontinue your maintenance contract in 2023, we made it clear that your warranty would revert to the manufacturer’s standard one-year coverage, meaning that any future repairs would be chargeable at standard rates.
When your unit developed issues in 2024, we attended promptly, diagnosed the problem, and provided full quotations before proceeding with each stage of repair—all of which you approved in writing. It is important to note that we were unable to diagnose all of the faults in one go because there was no power reaching the unit due to the failure of the outdoor PCB. Until this component was replaced, we had no way of detecting additional issues, such as faults in the indoor PCB and solenoid valve, which only became apparent once power was restored to the system.
Unfortunately, due to what is likely to have been an electrical surge, multiple components failed, leading to an unexpected sequence of repairs. Had your maintenance contract been active at the time, the total cost for these repairs would have been just £796 plus VAT, rather than the £2,008.75 incurred. Despite this, as a gesture of goodwill, we still reduced our labour charges to reflect maintenance contract rates.
With regard to your mention of a “condescending attitude,” we find it surprising that this was never raised with us at any stage prior to your review. Customer service is at the heart of our business—we are a family-run company now in our fifth decade and take great pride in our nearly 1,000 positive reviews across various platforms, which consistently highlight our professionalism, fairness, and customer care.

Great company to deal with
Dealing with Airconco (The Air Conditioning Company) is always straight forward. They answer emails and the phone and have availability to book in engineers for maintenance appointments quickly. Their engineers show up when they say they will and are knowledgeable and helpful. We have had two air conditioning units installed and serviced by the Airconco for the last two years and couldn't be happier.
