I took out Agria Pet Insurance in March 2024 for my then 6 year old rescue cat . Agria insurance has been a fantastic help to me . Luckily my cat only had minor illnesses up to March 2026 but when she became unexpectedly ill and wouldnt eat earlier this month , she needed much veterinary care and an operation . The vet bills very quickly run into thousands of euro and Agria has been exceptionally helpful and supportive in covering her care . My claims were settled easily and quickly . I cannot recommend Agria highly enough if you want to make sure your pet gets the care they need when unexpected illness strikes . Hopefully you will not need to make a claim but I still believe that the small Agria premium is an essential investment just for your peace of mind . Your pet is your family and peace of mind is less than the price of a coffee once a week . I will be staying with Agria every year from now on .

Dealing with claim was quick and easy.

Been with Agria for 6 years and have submitted a couple of claims. All have been dealt with quickly and with a minimum of fuss. Staff seem very professional and friendly

Had to make a claim for our cat pre Christmas and it was all dealt with quickly and with no hassle. Have since had to make another one and same outcome. I hoped when I got pet insurance I'd never need to use it, but so glad I had it. Would highly recommend Agria

I created a policy for my 1 year old dog who poses significantly low to 0 health risks. When I decided to process a claim, they look for ANY way they can possibly overcharge you again and perform a "catch them out" exercise. decided my pet was in a different category, not hesitating to increase my policy from 20 to 38 euro per month. How they arrive at this figure is insane as I am already paying extra for "potential heart conditions". Additionally, when processing my claim they already knew from my vet that he is a rescue and his name was different previously, but use any excuse for an endless back and forth to draw out the process hoping that we give up on it. You will continue to lose customers by conducting yourselves this way but I'm thinking thats what you prefer. Completely immoral, avoid at all costs.

I've just insured my new pup and it was a very easy process. I dealt with Claire, she was very thorough at explaining anything that I had a question about. It was a seamless process from the initial online quote to the end of the call with Claire.

Although there was some difficulty gathering all medical history for our little rescue doggie Moon, Agria and the Team including Sarah, we're extremely helpful and understanding. I highly recommend!

Delighted with my experience with Agria Pet Insure. I have my 2 dogs insured with them. Both rescues, one 12 y/o and the other 11 months old.
Both got ill on separate occasions and the clam process was so easy and quick. Would 100% recommend them.

Claire was fantastic in helping get insurance set up for our newly rescued dog. Very clear explanation of all involved and despite having to reschedule with her multiple times due to work or other reasons she was very patient in helping us get all set up.

My pet was insured in UK with this company and I had a great experience with them. I have just made a small claim for the first time in Ireland and had an equally good experience. All went through quickly with minimum fuss. Great company.

I had a query regarding a claim which had been processed.
Part of the claim was rejected but the part in question was part of an overall procedure my Labrador had.
I explained this to Sean over the phone and the claim was reviewed, the rejected part of the claim was then refunded. This was all done within a couple of hours and no hassle at all.

I am so happy I decided to use Agria for my pets insurance. My beautiful 2 year old Newfy Cross developed hip issues recently which was heartbreaking to discover but thanks to Agria she will be looked after. First claim sorted and absolutely no hassle. So easy for the pet owner as Agria pretty much do all the work after you send the form. Excellent service. I will certainly be recommending them to anyone I know looking for Pet Insurance.
