Not a great experience with this company and pleased to cancel my membership.

Very Bad Expericne. Never trust on this kind of organization. No option for 0 star. I can give ranking in minus. Government should applied band on this kind of company.

If you have a subscription with this company and you decide to cancel. Be prepared for them to threaten you you with the bailiffs for none payment.
I cancelled my subscription, emailed and spoke to a member staff, despite doing all this I get accused of being a liar and threatened with legal action.
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Be aware, be very aware before you commit.

Had an unsolicited call from Ms Parker today, demanding to speak with the person responsible for H&S in the organisation... cold call vibes! Very rude and dismissive. Refused to tell me the nature of the call. Curious, I had a look at their website and reviews on Trustpilot - glad I did!

Looked on site and now they send bills for service never used. After first bill I sent them an email that states to cancel and not to contact me again ( I still have this as proof ). Also now getting bombarded with emails I do not want and have no use to me.
Now been sent a collections notice by a recovery company. I have paid the recovery company and have now taken legal advice for miss selling and fraud.
I will also send to trading standards if any more bills arrive as the email states to cancel any subscription if one was set up as I was misled by the advert.
Bad encounter, I would not recommend the company, stay well away.

Awful and very stressful business. I do not recall signing up and I haven't received any documentation. I spoke with their customer service, which is only open part time. I asked for details on what I had signed up, they couldn't tell me, I asked if they could share what I had downloaded, they couldn't tell me. The irony is the information that I could have wanted, I have access to though my professional body, therefore would have negated having this anyway, as this from what I can make out is very basic generic content from other users.

I know have been sent a letter saying my debt has been passed to a collection agency. And yet, I still have no confirmation that I signed up or downloaded any resources. It is scary that you can be signed up this way and unlike any other subscription services, where you have to provide card details, so you know what you are signing up for after a free trial - this apparently you do not. It is very concerning that when you call and dispute this, you are told you have to pay. I have made an appointment at my Citizens Advice Bureau, with a view of referring through to Trading Standards. I do not want my credit rating impacted by a scam.

Yet another company who asks you to sign up and then charges if you don't cancel in time

Signed up for a free template to then be continually sent invoices and now letter passing my debt to an agency. I don’t have authority to undertake a subscription on behalf of my employer and would not knowingly have signed for this.

COMPLETE SCAM! Do not trust this company, it is under investigation by The Trading Standards Directive. About time too!

Scam they said I have signed up free trial which i never even agreed to and then have since proceeded to send me letters asking for money for a product i never singed up for or wanted.and now they are requesting for an additional which is late payment fee

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THEIR FREE TRIAL OR ANY PUBLICATIONS!!!!

As evident from numerous reviews, this business has automatically enrolled me in their paid memberships and used my official address without my consent to send invoices. Despite my efforts to dispute this, they have only offered to reduce the amount owed, rather than fully resolve the issue. I have never used their service, and my consent for this enrollment was not explicitly obtained, which is a violation of GDPR. Therefore, I will be raising a formal complaint with the ICO and the Ombudsman.

This company is a scam. They send you an appalling product that is supposed to be free. They then charge you £100 plus for it, sending endless e mails.

They are con artists. I know that they will simply say I haven't given them enough info to respond in the response to this. It is a shame they didn't respond when they had all my details and countless e mails.

Customer service is the worst I have ever heard of.

WARNING - this company encourages people to sign up with a FREE downloadable Mental Health Adviser pack, which automatically plays into the hands of those of us who want to do the best for our company and support others. They do not ask for payment details but automatically enrol you onto their system without making it clear and then send a bill for over £160.00!!! via email and post!! Very untrustworthy way to conduct business and I would highly recommend spreading the word to steer clear!!

In response to your reply Agora - I have added this review to help other people to avoid getting caught in the trap. I have now paid your bill as it seems like there was no other option to stop the email and postal correspondence with admin charges. I did not find your correspondence in any way 'amicable'.

Avoid at all costs. This company uses deceptive sales and marketing techniques. Like many others, my partner has been subject to nothing short of harassment over what Agora perceive to be unpaid debts amounting to around £60. The "debt" is not legal and the company uses intimidating tactics to try and reclaim money that is not due. This, despite my partner never using the service/product, speaking to one of the representatives to cancel the service/product and being told it was all sorted. Notwithstanding, the barrage of subsequent demands and letters, and the complaint raised against the company, Agora decided not to deal with the complaint and instead appear to have sold on the "debt" to a third party to continue the harassment. Judging by the reviews on here we are by no means alone in our experience. To this end, other people who have had, or are going through this experience, please send your evidence to "peoplevsagora" at Google Mail these, with your authorisation, will be compiled and presented to a third party that the matter has reported to.

To all those who are thinking about using this product/service, I suggest you think long and hard.

Since Windows Advisor merged with PC Knowledge, I feel I am no longer part of its target audience. On the plus side, the publication is regularly and reliably delivered, is clearly presented, and does occasionally contain some interesting and useful information, particularly when it points you to various online resources. On the other hand much of what it contains is not only too elementary for my needs but often seems quite dated. Apart from one recent article dedicated to it, Windows 11 is barely mentioned, for example, and some still articles focus unduly on Windows 7 & 8. The latest version of Microsoft Office mentioned seems to be Office 2019. I'm left with the impression that this magazine is now recycling a lot of old material and is aimed at relative novices.

I have left a 3 star review on the following basis.
Although I do agree with all the reviews and the unexpected bills being sent after numerous emails and letters that were either binned, or marked as junk as I treated the initial call as a sales cold call.
After a certain trial time, they automatically enter you into a subscription service and rely on you cancelling this in time to avoid further bills.
Like me and so many others, every correspondence was going in the bin and so they would not have cancelled the trial or subscription, like me. I had an invoice for risk assessment and compliance subscription of £134.85.

I called them today and Nick was very helpful, and understood my problem, I remained calm although frustrated with the situation. Nick agreed and basically cleared the account down and no money was owed.
Bit of a pian but a good result in the end.

Hi,I like many others have had the misfortune to come across Agora Business Publications email scam,I have been charged £60 for a stream of useless emails,when I contacted the company they reduced it to £30 but have now passed my "debt" on to CCSCOLLECT who are hounding me for a total of £62,they are as much to blame as Agora Business Publications as they should have researched this company before they took on their debts.
Trading standards are aware of them as are Citizens Advice,hopefully it is only a matter of time before they are closed down.
