The whole experience was fantastic- just as it says on the website from start to finish. Barry arrived on time to measure up and draw up the plans offering advice and guidance with no pressure selling. Our bungalow renovation has been enhanced dramatically with a professional service throughout. The bathroom fitter worked for four days solid informing us each day what was happening and if and when water was being turned off and for how long, always checking if anyone required the toilet before hand. Courteous and clean throughout, removing all waste and working extremely tidy. It was an experience I was dreading but was pleasantly surprised how well it went and even more impressed with the final results. It’s so nice to see my disabled husband use a wet room that was designed for him / his needs specifically whilst having a modern and Fashionable bathroom for everyone to use and admire. Big thanks to a wonderful company would definitely recommend to anyone.

Thrilled with my new bathroom!…
I am absolutely thrilled with my new bathroom which has been designed as a wet room with a remote controlled shower, flipper shower screen, fold-down shower seat, an adjustable height combined toilet/bidet and plenty of grab rails. The set up works really well. The process was very smooth from the beginning to the end. Everyone working on the project went above and beyond in making sure that everything was perfect, from Barry at the design stage to Jono who did most of the installation and Owen, Richard and Harry. Great service and product
We are really pleased with my mum's new bathroom/Shower which has given her back her independence. Owen ,the installation fitter was very professional with a refreshing positive attitude and considerate manner . The whole thing looks great and we would highly recommend using Age Care Bathrooms.

The experience was good from start to finish. The guys were great, professional and friendly . Thank you so much Lee and Richard for doing a great job. You were both so nice. I love my 2 bathrooms especially my Hydrotherapy bath.

New wet room
After having several specialist wet room companies come and offer various solutions. We decided to go with Age Care as they offered the most flexible design options. They were also the lowest priced ( not by much) all companies were not cheap. We were impressed with the statement that they don’t use contractors and all their fitters were employees. The office were happy to change colours and layout on the computer designs before we made a final decision. On the first day of the project Scott turned up promptly and worked hard until 7:30 pm every night (with our agreement) when an issue with the height of the toilet was discovered he worked quickly with head office to resolve the issue. He stayed until 8:30 on the final night spending 2 hrs deep cleaning the new wet room and even sweeping the patio in the dark ensuring we had no cleaning to do after he left. The wet room has made a massive difference to my life (wheelchair user) and worth the money. To have a one stop shop for a new bathroom.

Resolving the toilet height issue quickly and making sure everything was left spotless, even down to sweeping the patio, reflects the standards we expect on every project.

Let's start with the positive
Let's start with the positive - the fitters were always polite and courteous.
On reflection should have gone with a local company. Problem started following the fit in November 2025 when it was obvious the shower screen was too narrow to retain the water in the shower when someone was using it. We didn't order a wet room but my 84 year old mum was having to wipe the water off the bathroom floor after every shower.
So we had to get the tape measure out and sent photos to try to convince the company that a 900cm screen shouldn't be measuring cms less which it was. Only to be told by the company that the manufacturer said the screen width was within tolerance.
Initially were told we would have to pay for a resolution. Unhappy to say the least.
Eventually they agreed to fit an additional shower curtain at their cost to try to resolve the issue but once fitter arrived it became obvious it wouldnt work as it would cut off mums access to the handrails that were already installed.
Company eventually fitted a larger shower screen at their cost when I mentioned it wasn't fit for purpose or satisfactory quality for a shower install. Now mum doesn't have to wipe the floor.
I spent hours trying to resolve this and it is very expensive so you wouldn't expect this level of hassle. It was definitely oversold and we believed the salesman.
They have good reviews for wet rooms but that wasn't what we wanted we wanted a dry floor.

Walk in Shower
Owen the fitter was very efficient and tidy. There was no mess at all, unlike a recently experience with Central Heating fitters.
Owen kept me updated and at the end explained everything.

Excellent service at the planning stage
Excellent service at the planning stage.
Installation was fast and the installer worked very hard to complete within a week.
During the early discussion we asked for the old plumbing to be renewed as it was unrelable. this was only partially done and has led to a leak within the first week.
The installer also sugested that the plan was only a guide and decided not fit a drain pump and had to be persuaded to fit a second hand rail. Drainage is now borderline and would have benefited from the pump.

Excellent care and workmanship
Due to my husband’s mobility and health problems, it became apparent that we needed a safer and more accessible bathroom.
After looking at various Companies advertising bathrooms etc, we decided to contact Age Care Bathrooms. However, as they were so far away from us here in Worcester, we didn’t think they would be interested in travelling so far.
From the moment we contacted them, we were extremely impressed with the professionalism, helpfulness and friendliness of the people we were involved with. The Designer, Emily (our point of contact), Lee and Adam (fitters) and Harry (Electrician) were all fantastic, nothing was too much trouble. Lee and Adam were extremely hard working, punctual, caring - I could go on and on, but in nutshell ACB are outstanding in all respects, and we are over the moon with our new bathroom. Our grateful thanks to all of the team.

How to get a new bathroom with minimal fuss, dirt and bother
Having tried several local companies to replace and upgrade our bathroom to be more user friendly we discovered Age Care Bathrooms. Contact was made and a plan was drawn up and the same day we had online view. Two weeks later work started mid morning Monday and finished Thursday evening. A huge bath was removed , shower cubicle taken out, floor replaced, tiled walls replaced and new wash basin and cabinet installed. We now have brilliant walk in shower and much more spacious bathroom. We were kept up to date with everything as work progressed and able to make tweaks to suit our needs. No skip required, little disruption and minimal dust. All this in four days wonderful. Could not have been better. On site fitters, office staff and planner all listened and created a new bathroom we are overjoyed with. Thank you Age Care Bathrooms.

I am getting progressively more disabled and Age Care replaced our old bathroom with a wet room fitted with various aids. Their staff were unfailingly polite and helpful and the job was done within 3 days. They left no mess and took away all the old fixtures to be recycled.
