I have been a steady patron of your company and would have given a five-star rating until earlier today. I called the location prior to arriving to ascertain on the processing of my NIPSCO bill and was told "yes, we do". I was later to find out that there is a very important piece of information that was not shared with me. After obtaining another loan and paying my NIPSCO bill, I left the area for another errand. While waiting, I received and phone call from NIPSCO stating they had received the faxed payment, but that Advance America WAS NOT a site recognized for processing payments and that, while the payment would be processed, it would take from 7 to 10 days! My bill is due tomorrow and this delay results in a late fee. I should have been informed of this delay by the store's manager before making the payment. I went back to the store to request a refund so I could pay elsewhere for it to be on time and it was closed until 3:00 pm. I couldn't wait the 30 minutes left for the manager's return. I am very upset and, although the late fee is under $3.00, I still have to pay it on my next bill. It is the principal of the issue that I was not informed! It is unprofessional that along with this late fee, I paid $2.00 for the store to process the payment! You see, $5.00 may not seem like much to some, but to me it means I can't buy a gallon of milk!

The associate was very polite, and helpful. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
