I am very pleased with the obedience training my dog received at Active Canine. Viktoriia’s professionalism, punctuality and efficient use of time were much appreciated. It is readily obvious that she understands canine behavior and shares her observations. She is patient with both the dog and the handler. Viktoriia introduced clear, effective commands that my dog picked up quickly, and she made sure I understood how to reinforce everything at home. My dog, Zuma, was shy and somewhat scared around other dogs and walking around in public spaces. After Viktoriia’s training, Zuma is a much more confident dog in public spaces, around other dogs, and follows commands to the point that I have no hesitation having off-leash play time at the park. Zuma is no longer just a pet - she has become a wonderful companion. It is without reservation that I give Viktoriia my highest recommendation.

This company is a scam! The owner, Nick Rijniers previously owned a UK-based company called Bark & Birch where he completely disappeared with all the company’s assets and profits without any single statement leaving thousands of employees and clients behind without paying or delivering their services. Just do a quick search about Bark & Birch and you’ll find more information on that. Just run away as soon as possible and do not pay him a single cent.

Through Active Canine, we scheduled four puppy training sessions for our miniature dachshund puppy, Milo. We were able to maximize the training because of her somewhat flexible schedule—we didn't have to train in the rain, for example—and she was always on time and very helpful. Not only was she incredibly helpful and understanding, but Milo also adored her and the treats! We would strongly advise making use of this service and requesting Anna in particular!

I bought an eight-session course on obedience training. Excellent value for the money; a trainer visits you one-on-one As novice dog owners, we had a lot of questions, and our excellent trainer Carina gladly answered them all—not just during our session but also for free on Whatsapp! She also provided us with information that wasn't in the dog training manuals or videos that I had read or viewed, which helped us resolve a few small problems we were having with our dog.

Anna of Active Canine deserves all the praise in the world! We were inexperienced dog owners and had no idea how to train our energetic new dog. Every week, our dog showed significant progress thanks to Anna's guidance, advice, and helpful tips and tricks. She was very comforting. All of our issues were resolved after five sessions, which is a result of Anna's tolerance with us. We heartily endorse Active Canine and Anna to everyone!

We signed up our three-month-old husky for Johnny's two-week board and train program. Kubo would get excited when walking on a leash or in large crowds, which would result in him jumping and nipping. After returning from the board and spending a full day at home, I must admit that I have noticed a complete and utter change in his behavior both at home and out. He is far more composed now and obedient to all orders. For young, active puppies, I would highly recommend this course. In particular, the trainer Johnny kept us updated with videos during the program and provided a very useful handover session at the end.

I had been having some problems with Bella our 3 year old German Shepherd for some time. She was trained as a puppy but this seemed to diminish considerably as she entered her 'teenage' years and she was virtually impossible to walk on a lead due to her incessant pulling and excitable barking at other dogs and people, she seemed to have developed a 'I will do what I want to do' attitude as well, something I had previously only observed in my human teenage daughter but equally as exhausting. Bella was missing out on walks and general stimulation as we couldn't cope with walking her at all and she was miserable.
3 weeks in residence and a new and much happier dog walked back in through the front door. Our trainer was incredibly patient, understanding and immediately put me at ease as she listened to my seemingly never ending list of problems I was having with Bella and the lines of communication when Bella was away from home was always open for any question or concern I had, no question was too much trouble for to answer, the videos and photos were such a wonderful way for me to feel connected with the process and see that Bella was ok. Anna is very warm and friendly, patient and offers clear and easy to understand techniques and instruction for me to continue at home with Bella and she is also extremely realistic and honest when it comes to expectations and progress. I think having a German Shepherd carries a certain responsibility due to their 'bad' press and public perception can often be incredibly negative which isn't helped at all by a noisy German Shepherd and an owner who doesn't look confident about handling their dog so for me personally I felt it was very important for me to regain my confidence and to appreciate that sometimes Bella may be having a not so good day which isn't solely about my lack of skill handling her, being made aware of that has impacted greatly on our relationship and my being able to relax has been invaluable. It has been an absolute pleasure to have Anna work with Bella and myself and I will always be thankful that I made that call to Active Canine.

We sent our dogs Quinter and Barley for a one month rehabilitation training with Bas and the result is great! The boys couldnt get along well since Quinter had dog aggression issue - they would growl, bark at each other non stop whenever they have eye contact and share a same space. Trainer Bas is able to identify the root of the problem and carry out a series of training focusing on their confidence building, socializing, environment stimulation, behavior correction through positive reinforcement. He is very helpful and responsive throughout - sending us daily videos and answering our questions! The boys are now back with confidence. We can now walk them together!! Even though the walk may not be perfect every time, like fixation of each other from time to time. But still, this is an incredible improvement.

Andy has truly been a lifeline for me and my beloved dog. His private training sessions, conducted right in the comfort of our home, have had an incredible impact on our lives. He was not only professional and knowledgeable, but also incredibly patient. I am amazed by the remarkable progress we've made together. My furry friend is now more responsive and well-behaved, and our bond has deepened in ways I never thought possible. Words cannot express my gratitude. I highly recommend their services to anyone seeking exceptional dog training.
