The products were great. My husband and I deeply enjoyed them. And their customer team was really kind and efficient when sorting out some issues with my husband's account. Amazing company!

Having just bought a narrowboat and with the constant travel abnormal has been a lifesaver not only keeping me all topped up for my triathlon training but also taking up less space on board which is now at a premium.

I only need a shaker and some water and I've got a meal wherever I am, it's perfect as it saves me reaching for a takeaway and I don't have to worry about my lactose intolerance.

Would highly recommend to those constantly on the move, wanting to make sure they're getting everything they need to keep going. Nutrition has always been my achilles heel but now im finally in a place where I can stay on top of everything going on without compromising on taste!

I filled out a questionnaire and the shakes I’ve received have been tailored to my lifestyle which I think is great! I think this brand has captured what people need with this offering as it feels personalised as opposed to a one fits all approach.

It’s hard being motivated when working from home but since taking these shakes I definitely feel more energised. I’ve found it’s such a convenient meal replacement. I’m so busy with work and the shakes only take 30 seconds to make (and I haven’t skipped breakfast or lunch since I started having them which is a bonus). With it being a small sachet it’ll be really handy to take into the office too when I’m back there.

I also love anything that’s planet friendly and the packaging is all paper so it’s recyclable which is amazing!

I don’t understand at all the people on here saying they can’t cancel. It’s the easiest thing. For anyone that wants to do it, just login in and click cancel subscription in your account! Come on people!

It’s a complete meal hence why it has the recommended amount of sugar in it for a balanced diet. If you want a pure protein shake then don’t buy this. This is a meal replacement. VERY DIFFERENT.

Tried the shakes as part of a free trial. Thought they had way too much sweetner, compared with other shakes I've tried, which made them too sweet, and left a bad aftertaste. The sweetner really needs to be reduced.

I don't normally write reviews, but here we are. I think I saw an ad for the free trial on a social network, and for a fiver it was a no-brainer to try the product. I've never tried any of these meal replacement products but as someone who loathes cooking, it made sense to finally try and with minimal risk. (and a free shaker)

I picked a few each of the then 3 available flavours (at time of writing there are now 4 flavours available; banana was added recently). Cutting to the chase, the strawberry is FANTASTIC. Absolute heaven. Chocolate is very good as well, but I did not enjoy vanilla at all. I agree with other reviews that describe it as synthetic tasting; kind of hard to describe. I mean it's palatable, sure. I had no digestion problems with any of the products. And of course the packaging and presentation are high quality. Promptly delivered with DPD and no issues with delivery or tracking details.

I decided to contact customer service to understand their definition of meal replacement part-way through the trial, and was promptly answered using the online chat by Lewis. He was very helpful and understanding of my perhaps basic queries.

Once I ran out of the free trial products (which btw, are the same size and quality you get when you pay full whack) I thought that I could live without the shakes and resume my normal "cooking". I went back to the website after a week because I had a few instances where a shake would have done the trick and I either skipped a meal or snacked. Fortunately, banana was now also a flavour. And for buying a full-size box they threw in a free t-shirt.

Banana is also heavenly. I skipped vanilla this time and ordered 10 of the other three flavours. The t-shirt is actually good quality which surprised me, given the website claimed it's worth £19.99. It's 100% cotton and made from a single piece of fabric, ie not stitched at the sides. Good quality product here too!

Anyway, the 30-day box will certainly last me a couple of months so I have paused my subscription without issue. I'm sure I'll be back again and look forward to what else abnormal get up to in the coming weeks and months. Would definitely recommend. I can't comment on pricing because I have no idea what competing products cost, but it feels about right given the packaging and delivery costs are absorbed.

I had never heard of this until a promo dropped into my inbox and I thought ‘why not’ for the promo deal you getting a full weeks lunches and just picking up the postage and packaging cost, it seemed an easy option to at least try it out.
If I’m honest the issue around who was delivering did frustrate me as I had emails from both Hermes and DPD advising on tracking numbers, so like others have mentioned I began to think scam, however it did finally arrive (4days) via Hermes and was well presented

The free shaker is of decent quality(worth the cost of the promo delivery price anyway!)

The actual meals at 350calories each do show as heavy on the carbs at 38.6 g and over 10g of fat but they do fill you up for a lunch replacement. I’ve had them all with water only and some do taste a little in the powdery side but may have been better if I had been more patient with the shaking😂.

Overall if you are thinking of trying I would say go for it, as stated above the free shaker more than compensates for the cost you will have on the first order (p&p only) . A tasty meal replacement and I believe loads of new flavours now to choose from.

UPDATE: Package has arrived today. However it was not DPD as stated in my dispatch email, but Hermes who delivered, which explains why the tracking link to DPD did not work. If you're going to dispatch an item, please inform the customer of the correct courier and correct tracking link to avoid confusion in the future.
But anyway, on to the product itself. The personalised box I can tell is of high quality, the shaker is very good and doesn't leak. I first tried the Vanilla Cream and it doesn't taste all too pleasant to me and seems a bit porridgy in flavour... or the closest way I can descibe it anyway. I've increased the 1 to 4 stars, dropped a star for the wrong courier information. I won't drop a star to taste, as that's my own preference. I have chocolate swirl and strawberry sundae still to try, so if I find a flavour I like, I'll renew my order in future.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Tracking number doesn't work and I've not received any product. I've contacted them asking for a refund and cancelled any future orders. If I get what I paid for and this gets fixed or refunded, I'll amend my review. But first impressions right now is that it is suspicious and feels like a scam.

Like many people I’m always on the fence with trying something new but was advised from a colleague of a service that plans and constructs a meal plan for the lifestyle you live. So thought what can I lose? I was given a free plan and as soon as I received my first batch I was hooked. I didn’t feel the urge to over eat which was always an issue for me. After the free plan I could already notice a difference in my energy levels which were heightened. My performance in work was better and my overall mood. I’ve signed up now fully and not looked back! An amazing product and service which I can’t fault!

I have been locked out my profile, as I was not able to change my password for abnormal website issues. And could not cancel my subscription. I won't eat the meals as I got very bad allergy reaction and cannot digest them. But at the same time, I still have been charged for next shipment and I do not want it.
I want an immediate refund for that, and cancel my order now, but the customer service is awful. No one is answering my calls, messages or email. Such a bad service! I will not recommend this product to anyone and I will not use it anymore.

I wrote an honest review about the awful taste of this product and it has been removed by Abnormal so they don’t like constructive criticism.

Very disappointing

I signed up for a free trial of this product, due to an influencer on Instagram. The concept is good however the shakes taste horrible. More work is definitely needed on the taste of these meal replacements as companies such as protein world do better tasting ones which are better value.

The Abnormal shaker is very good though, I would purchase this again on its own if it was an option. I can’t see this as an option on their website though.

The packaging still creates mess as there is too much powder in the sachet, so this is contrary to their advertising statement.

After the trial it is £59 a month which is extortionate as this only includes 1 meal replacement a day whereas you would pay £30 for nicer flavours with other brands which could provide you with 2 replacements a day- so better value.

Also they don’t have an option to cancel, there is a ‘manage your subscription’ button but once pressed it will restart your subscription and provide no option to cancel. The payment was pending in my account straight away and a dispatch date of 2 days later so I couldn’t cancel. This was very misleading. I had to contact their customer service for a refund. They don’t have a telephone number either purely online chat. They advertise their WhatsApp but when I contacted that it said that I should go back to the website.

I think this is a scam by influencers as anyone who actually thinks this tastes nice and the marketing of it is transparent is being paid or gifted this for free. For £59 a month I expect to have clear cancellation buttons etc, clicking on the wrong button on their website leads to £59 automatically being deducted from your account so think twice.

It seems as if it’s a new company also so maybe with some time you will be able to amend your business model etc.

I started with my free trial of abnormal and I was skeptical, however, these shakes really do fill you up like a meal. I do however, advice that you give them a little blend for a creamier shake, but that's just my preference. After my free trial, I want my subscription to start so I got in touch with abnormal via the chat function on the app and they sorted it straight away for me.

I’m on my 2nd box and love these, great to keep on hand for a quick tasty meal when you’ve not had time to prep. Great mix of macros and nutrients and keep you feeling full. I would 100% recommend these and have recommended them to a number of friends.

I am very disappointed in this company. I tried the product for a couple months and then decided to pause my subscription. Several days later I chose to cancel it and yet still had the full £59.99 taken from my account. I have attempted to both call and message them to get a refund but have had no response. Please resolve this, Abnormal.

I ordered the 7-meal free trial and it was scheduled to be delivered on a day I wasn't home, so I tried to change the delivery date on the website. I selected a date and it gave me another date I didn't choose; and after a few hours I discovered I had already been billed TWICE for the full amount of the subscription (£120)!! I asked the Customer Service what was going on and THEY CANCELLED MY TRIAL and told me to use another email address if I wanted to order again. Which is unfair since I made no mistake, it's a problem they should solve, not me. So bad ordering system and bad customer service.
