Hello,

I've had this gentleman 2 times already.
So far nothing but disaster.

1) After deleting all backups and websites, the disk is still full. So either the aapanel analytics is showing errors or something is wrong there. This problem is often repeated.

2) Once MySQL doesn't work, then NGINX doesn't work.
And it keeps repeating. Even reinstalling didn't help. Neither enlarging the server, nor other server providers. Simply the fault is still in aaPanels.

3) Mysql MariaDB doesn't really exist. I failed to install it after 12 attempts.
So it's useless.

4) At the beginning everything goes fine, after a couple of hours nginx, mysql and so on doesn't work. It's just unstable and low quality.

This is my second experience and thus I don't recommend AApanel.
I also had RunCloud, Plesk and others before. And they all worked great.
But with AAPanel nothing works as it should!

AApanel was a fantastic control panel when centos 7 was the latest version. But now centos 9 is the latest version. AApanel and all of the other free control panels like cwp, hestia, virtualmin and ispconfig also have not upgraded to centos 9. This is a major problem. AApanel and the others are not making any plans for centos 9 and centos 10. Eventually these free webpanels will all disappear. Their respective forums are nothing more than echo chambers. The only ones in the forums are newbies and a handful of appointed admins who love to censor dissenting opinions by members in the forum.

I don't feel this is ready for production use. Way to many errors, domains would not verify, help support docs are not really informative on how to resolve anything and basically just couldn't get a single domain to work. Everytime I added a domain it failed to verify even though all records were correctly added and at the DNS provider level. NGINX completely stopped working and caused so many issues that we had to reimage our server just to get things back to normal and get rid of this aaPanel. A few times while it was installed it was locking out our root user from Terminal even via Putty, installing NGINX took forever when under cPanel it takes like 1 minute. The login to the admin side is just horrible and it you set an SSL be prepared to get warnings from your browser which will not let you pass through back to the login screen. It looks like it may have some promise in the far future but as a working control panel on a live server no way would I ever trust this thing. No multiple account support or root isolation either that I could see, weak firewall, though they do want you to pay $200 to upgrade to an NGINX WAF but come on with better firewall options available for far less who in their right mind would pay that? I think we will stick with cPanel as it just works and we have never had issues with adding domains, never had NGINX fail to start, plus well it's just a better product hands down.

But I am very annoyed by the high subscription prices

There are no monthly offers, only annual

And the price is very high

Where you can get cPanel for $17

But aapanel, you pay $288 annually

You will not get the features until you pay $288 annually

You should think about offering monthly packages that include technical support and error fixing

At first I was skeptical about this panel, but after bad experience with other panels I decided to install aaPanel and I realized that it is the best free panel you can get today. I have been using it for over 2 years now and I am very satisfied. aaPanel is a subsidiary of bt.cn (BT Panel) focused on the European and American market. They have created a really awesome product that they can be proud of. I have heard that some people are biased towards this company, but this is totally unfounded, as all the code is open source and you can PERSONALLY verify that the product is completely safe. Definitely 5 stars. I wish you success in development.
