Horrible company scam artist
Horrible company scam artist. I would not spend a quarter with this company
Fake auction
This company is a total scam tell me how the same person can win every bid on their site out of a 100 items i looked at the same person was winning 95 of them. Total scam artist
Bidders beware
Bidders beware
Items were not as described. I realize that they were 1957 Red seal $1, $2, and $5 paper money set but these looked like they were printed in the 1800's. Dingy looking and not worth having in a collection. Faded and wrinkly. You lost a customer for life.
Actually legit!!
I recently won 5 lots at auction on Monday 1/26/26 and my items arrived today (Monday 02/02/26). The shipping was not bad at all $9 I think. Everything is real! I have a diamond tester. I’m so impressed! They look better in person than in the photos. I’m super excited and happy about the outcome. I was so nervous bc I’ve seen reviews about fake jewelry so I was so scared but I’m so happy!! I will say their appraisals are INSANELY inflated but all appraisals are. Give it a try! Bet small though if you wanna be cautious
Extremely Slow Shipping & Poor…
Extremely Slow Shipping & Poor Communication – Finally Shipped After Weeks of Pushing
I won several lots in Auction 1180 (including Tanzanite earrings and 100 × 1/10 oz Buffalo silver rounds) on January 5, 2026, paid immediately on January 6, and received the invoice #64168 for $1,261.66.
Shipping was supposed to be 2-5 business days for coins/bullion per their receipt email, or 5-7 days per support replies. No tracking came for weeks despite multiple polite follow-ups starting January 10. They cited weather closures (Jan 26-27) and other excuses, but I noticed newer lots from January 26 auctions shipped same-day, which contradicted the warehouse closure claim.
After pointing out the delays repeatedly, on January 29 they admitted a “delay on lots 641 and 656,” offered to replace the Buffalos with Aztec rounds or refund those lots. I accepted the replacement immediately, they said “Will do,” but then followed up with “tracking as soon as available” and “notified the coin depository.”
I had to keep pressing with deadlines (tomorrow or Monday Feb 2 at latest), and finally on January 30 they sent a FedEx tracking number, The package arrived, and the Aztec replacements weighed correctly (~31.7-31.8 g for 10 coins, consistent with 1/10 oz .999 fine silver).
Pros: Items eventually arrived in good condition; support responded (eventually) when pushed hard with facts and deadlines.
Cons: Shipping took nearly 4 weeks from payment (far beyond stated timelines), required constant follow-up, multiple excuses, and felt like they were stalling (possibly due to silver price surge during that period). Communication was vague and reactive only—no proactive updates.
I wouldn’t use them again or recommend to others unless you’re prepared for long delays and have to fight for basic fulfillment. If you’re buying bullion/coins, stick to established dealers with better track records.
If I was able to provide a receipt in form of a photo, I would be happy to do so.

What I thought I was buying is a sign print of a Andy Warhol painting and I asked them is it real they assured me it was !!!!! Sold me fake gold Pokémon Cards
Sold me fake gold Pokémon Cards. Won’t return a phone call
Watch out for their 30x scam
Total Scam. They use a feature nobody else does on Hibid. They show a set of 30 items as one item and make it look like you are bidding on 30 of the sets of 30 using a 30x feature. People are lured into bidding very large amounts thinking they are getting the sets but they are really paying ridiculous amounts for one set. Then they tell them they owe 18% to cancel and get that fee over and over for the same item reposted without having to deliver a thing.
I purchased a necklace titled "Yurman…
I purchased a necklace titled "Yurman Style White Crystal Designer Pendant 1 x 12.50 12.50
Rhodium/Brass." I didn't look closely enough that they are using the name of an actual artist to get views on their crappy jewelry. There is nothing Yurman about this piece. Using Yurman in the title and as the first word in the title is unethical, misleading, and just wrong. They refuse to take any personal responsibility and they think this practice is okay. They even went to so as to suggest that I am the only person who has had a problem with the way they are describing this piece that they have apparently sold 100's of times. Yet look at their reviews. I will never do business with these unethical people again and I suggest that no one else should either.
A total rip off
A total rip off. We took this to a qualified appraisal and this is a scam.
My daughter purchased these thinking she was getting what she paid for and a great deal.
Unfortunately , she passed after a long battle with breast cancer at a young age and we took these to a reputable Washington D.C. auction appraisal.
Buyer beware.
The merchandise is not authentic
The merchandise is not authentic. I looked at the trading cards and was going to bid on a couple, but I noticed that the wording on them isn't what's being represented in the photos. Be careful not to get fake things from them and watch their PSA ratings. If it seems to be too good to be true it is!
I spent 28k on a Rolex submariner 18kt…
I spent 28k on a Rolex submariner 18kt when i received it i put the Rolex on i had it on less than 30 minutes and the band popped off and a piece of the case link (this is the link that connects the band to the watch) a case link is one piece yet half of it fell off so it was obviously broken before shipping, I reached out to AA bids and they said the band is warrantied and i will have to pay for it. $3300 its amazing how some companies will screw you ..
Well well well let me tell you what…
Well well well let me tell you what happened to me. On March 5 2025 I bid on a bracelet and won for $23 so the next morning I checked my bank account and found that they charged me almost $500 and for a ring I didn't bid on. I put a dispute with my bank so hoping I get my money back. I'm never doing business with this company again or any other auction online
Supposedly I won a couple of auctions…
Supposedly I won a couple of auctions but I never received notification from them, they say they emailed me 3 times. I checked inbox, spam and deleted and nothing from them. They now ruined my ability to bid on all HiBid auctions and they don't care at all that I never received their emails. The amount was for $45,000.00 and they didn't make one phone call to me to see if I received email. They are extremely rude, arrogant and they don't deserve to be dealing with the public. Shame on HiBid to have such losers working with them.
These guys price fix
These guys price fix. One bidder, at the last hours swept every single precious metal and jewelry lot with a spot price (or higher) bid. There is NO WAY, in a million years, that a single person is going to buy out an entire auction, unless it is the auction themselves. Anybody can see through this.
If you don't believe me, wait until the last hours of any of their auctions, go to the bids received tab, and look for the same name EVERY time. Hundreds of lots, all the same bidder. Ridiculous; never will I bid at AAE auction again and you can take the one crappy item I won and put it where you defecate.

ounce of gold will cost you more
I bought an ounce of gold from this website. Actually won (2) of them. Won them at at a good price. I read the terms and everything. My problem that I had with them was the cost of shipping, (2) one ounce gold bars do not weigh much. I understand there are handling plus postage. When I received the receipt, it showed $96.00 . That right $96 US dollars. I sent them a message which they replied was for Insurance cost plus shipping. Now I'm thinking shipping is about $10, maybe $15. But $80-$85 for insurance!!!! It's a bit excess!!! I sent another message for a copy of the UPS receipt (UPS shipping charge shown on my receipt) their reply was the tracking number from FedEx only!!!!! Since shipping/handling/insurance are not disclosed, I'm assuming they want to make more money in that cost and not letting customers/government know. I will not be purchasing from Assured Assets Exchange again!!!! I'll purchase from Gold dealers and probably pay a little less without HIDDEN FEES!!!!
Refusal to take card payment
I won a few items and would like to use my card instead of a wire transfer. I dont know any of you personally. I dont trust my banking information being out there like that.
I have been trying to get in touch with…
I have been trying to get in touch with support to change my credit card on file and no one answers
Duplicate jewelry in many auctions
Well I have noticed after a ring I won (shipped in timely manner) shows to be on several other auctions as well, leading me to believe that the jewelry is fake no matter what they say. I have seen so many new auctions selling the same jewelry and other items that were in my first auction. Sketchy to me. I never had an issue with shipping or payment. But I guess I'm tapping out.
