Staff were pleasant but I was told my refund of the £350 deposit money would be returned within 5 days. Information was incorrect. Now I’m having the hassle of trying to get my funds unblocked as I’ve got bills that won’t be paid otherwise

I had been happily renting cars from his local company for a number of years. However, when I rented a car from them in July 2024, I inadvertently incurred a parking penalty. Quite rightly, this has been passed on to me. I have no problem with this, but 3B have charged me £96 just for passing the penalty on (on top of the fine)!!!!! I have queried this but not got anywhere. Needless to say, I will now hire from another local business instead.

I rented a van yesterday, the customer service I received was excellent. Laura and the staff at 3bhire are so friendly and made hiring a van very easy. I would not hesitate in using 3bhire again.

I wanted a van for 2 days , I collected from Aylesbury The staff ,although this was last thing Friday , we’re very polite . I was shown around the van where we inspected it together extensive photos were taken to record the vans condition each one being approved together
That done we returned to the office and completed the paperwork as I went to leave I decided to have an additional driver plus the damage insurance , the staff could not have been more helpful .
The van was great and so clean ,at the the end of the 2 days I still needed the van for a further day , no problem at all . I returned the van it was checked over and that was that!
The whole process was very easy and dare I say pleasurable .

Would have given 0 stars given that option. WARNING - do not rent from these people. I had a very small scratch on the door and pointed this out to them upon return. This was no difference to average wear and tear or a small stone chip. I was charged without warning several weeks later they had taken 778 pounds directly from my bank account without any discussion. There are plenty of car hire companies hire from someone with a reputation to protect - this company is very "shady"

I rented the vehicle for a day. I returned the vehicle the same. The premises on a Saturday open at 8am and close at 11:45am. I told them I would not be able to return the vehicle before that time. I was told the sales staff would wait.
He didn't and I was forced to park the vehicle outside the premises.
I left the keys with a social club and inform 3b hire of this on Monday. They charged me the £350 and a further £188 for 2 days rental on top of the £94 for the rental.
The 3b hire person who called on Tuesday to say he had picked up the keys freely admitted what he was charging me amounted to fraud when pressed.
Do not use them.

What a scam! Got hit for an extra 200 pounds deducted from deposit for damage to wheel, which wasn't damaged? Suggested I go next door to their colleague to have it "taken care of". Very sketchy. Took a photo and everyone who's seen it says it looks like normal usage, nothing damaged. Beware, do not rent from them.

Was going to hire a large van from Enterprise High Wycombe but when I checked their reviews decided to go with 3B Hire, really glad I did easy to book in person then emailed all details needed for pick up and charges. The van was excellent cleaned and ready to go on pick up, they email existing damage after you've looked around so worth checking when you pick up just to be sure. Couldn't fault them and will use again if needed. Check out Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity Shop - Hazlemere for a 20% discount card.

Once again, (this is my third car hire experience with 3B High Wycombe), excellent prompt service at pick up and return. Excellent condition car, well maintained.

Staff were not friendly and a lot of hidden costs. Rang up to see why I had been charged extra and they were very rude and said there's extra charges that are in the contract. No one made me aware of these things when going there. Try to catch you out to charge more! Will never use again and will advise other people not to

I had never hired a van before but 3B made it so easy and straightforward. Staff couldn't of been more helpful and friendly. Vans are in great condition and at a good price.
I would definitely use again and recommend.

Excellent Customer Service in the end. I hired a car for four days to begin with. On the third day, I extended the contract until 31 of March. I then had to cut the contract until 17th March due to my new car from MG dealership being delivered early. At first, the Branch Manager at Wycombe branch agreed that I can return the car early (two weeks early) and I returned the car on 17th of March (instead of 31st March). A couple of days later, this branch manager calls me back again to tell me they don't do refund (after they got their car back). I complained to the head office and Ross (I believe the Director) saw the unusual circumstances I was in and offered a refund for the days I didn't use their car. This is what I call a positive and reasonable outcome. Thank you.

Was planning on using Hertz but then spotted the very high excess if I damaged the van and so rather hurriedly looked elsewhere and found 3B. The Google reviews were very solid so went with 3B. From start to finish they were excellent. Warm and friendly, the vans were fine and when I needed some flexibility from them as I overran my timings, they were more than accommodating. Will use them again (next week tbh!).

Well I have hired from these ppl three times . All.three times my licence has not changed . They were happy to let me have these vehicles and now the fourth tike of hiring they say no because I an sp50. They checked my licence on the first occasion, and were completely aware of the facts I have given them. I even on the first occasion got the code from dvla of which they checked. I have driven several hundred miles to move from a local place where 3b are to where I'm moving to and have wasted at least 70 quids worth of diesel because of their incompetence. Thanks 3b

Stay well clear of the cowboys go to a proper Hire company that don't charge admin fees that will catch you out. I was a customer that over the next 6 months would have used you allot but I will take my business else where.

Taken us a little time to do a reiew due to a recent house move and baby on the way but really pleased with 3B and their professional service.

We was taken care by Lindsey when entering the branch, paperwork completed with the vehicle being handed over done so in a presentable state.

Can't really fault on current experience and would use them over others in the future.
