Avoid this cleaning company

I had booked cleaning, but the day before, I received a call asking if they could reschedule from 10 am to 6 am because they had a busy day. I said that would be OK, and could the cleaner give me a call before arrival. After finishing moving the day before at midnight, I had a call at 5:30 am. I had left the door open since there was nothing in the house, and I told them to go in; I'd get there in a bit. To my surprise, after helping them out, the response was no way until we get paid. This had not been agreed before. I explained to the cleaner about doing a favour at that time, but he was adamant about paying first. So I drove up and was greeted by a very rude, immature youngster who tried to intimidate me; the only reason I didn't knock his teeth out was that I needed the house done and dusted. If the cleaner wants to arrange a meeting now, I'll be happy to do so. Avoid this company; it's full of dishonourable employees who resort to intimidation to get what they want. If they had said prior that they needed payment upfront, I would have never used them, and I paid a deposit. There is more to the story about this cleaner that I'm happy to share with management.

EDIT: They came back a second time, and were furnished a list of items; however, here is the latest report from the estate agents:

Entry:
- Spot marks and small black marks on wall left hand side of linen press, cleaner didnt clean off.

Bed 2(facing street)
- Sticky residue above handle on door. will need to be cleaned off.
- Blinds still mouldy and dusty. These dont look to have been touched and need a good clean.
- Tape marks above window x3,

Living room:
- Mould on ceiling closest to street.
- Mould all along the wall below the window.
- right hand side Door leading to balcony has mould at the top.
- Round mark on floorboards in front of a/c, black scratch marks over and around it.
- Floors worn in middle of room going into kitchen.

Kitchen:
- Windows and window tracks not clean.
- Silicon around sink mouldy. I have asked the handyman to quote on this.
- Rangehood greasy.
- Benchtop right hand side of sink discoloured.

Bedroom 3:
- mould on wall in wardrobe.
- windows not clean/frames or tracks.
- blinds still heavily moulded on 1 side but both blinds at window opening. These dont look to have been touched and need a good clean.

Bedroom 1:
- floor has round worn mark closest to kitchen.
- Long horizontal black mark on wall under window.
- blinds Dusty and mouldy. These dont look to have been touched and need a good clean.
- window glass and tracks not clean.

Bathroom:
- grout in shower not clean, silicon strip at bottom of shower door not clean.
- toilet seat not clean.
- inside vanity cupboard not clean.
- basin not clean and silicon behind tap mouldy.
- ceiling has few marks around exhaust fan,
- Under cornice above window mouldy in gap,
- window glass, frame and tracks not clean.

DO NOT book this company, I will now be going to Fair Trading to get this company addressed, and filing this report everywhere to help people not fall into the same scam I did.

If I could give a zero star I would.
Do not fall for the trap that is their company. I booked them in good faith for an end of lease cleaning and the amount of stress they have put me in is appalling.
They left the property in the same condition it was in when they arrived. Both the cleaners and the crew they sent for re-cleaning.
Incompetent cleaners with no what a vacuum is let alone steam cleaning.
DO NOT trust their bond back guarantee. It is only a guarantee you will end up paying more out of pocket to book another cleaner after the re-cleaning.
Disappointed is an understatement

I made the mistake in booking this company

I made the mistake in booking this company despite the numerous poor reviews due to the assurance of the agent I spoke to that there would be no surcharges on the day and that the cleaning company would complete the job to a high standard. During the booking I explained all the rooms and how many floors, which was reflected in the email confirmation. Once the cleaners arrived and looked around, they immediately stated they were expecting a one-story property, even though I showed them the email confirmation saying otherwise. They said they needed to 'upgrade' the clean resulting in additional charges. After speaking to customer services, they said they could send another team to check the property and assess the cost, but was unable to provide me with a time when this would be and the initial cleaners upon knowing this quickly left the property. Due to the inconvenience caused, wasted time and hidden costs we cancelled the booking and looked for alternative services. During the cancellation call, they said I should have been made aware of the possibility of additional charges dependent on the size of the property, when in the booking call i was specifically told there would be no extra charges, the quote was the set payment. I am expecting my deposit to be refunded within the stated timeframe of 3-4 business days. Horrific service, do not book.

SCAM COMPANY - CLEANERS DO NOT KNOW HOW TO CLEAN

If I could give zero stars I would!

3 cleaners came for an end of lease clean, "worked" for 3 hours and didn't do ANYTHING properly. No dusting cobwebs, floors still dirty, steam cleaning left black marks all over the carpets (which were also still dirty). I have no idea what the 3 of them did for three whole hours - watch Netflix?!

Have been told by the company it will take 2-3days for a response on the complaint and that I have to send through the landlord's condition report to further the complaint.

They also rescheduled me from Friday to Saturday, so I was unable to have anyone reclean it before handing keys back. I wish I had read the reviews first.

My wife made a booking for 2 bathrooms…

My wife made a booking for 2 bathrooms and 2 toilets to be cleaned at a “special price” and they sent an email quote for a set price. On the day, only 1 cleaner turned up saying he was told only 1 bathroom and toilet and when my wife contacted the company they wanted double the amount quoted. This company is dodgy and should be shut down!
0 star rating if I could give one.

Do your research before engaging this company

Unfortunately the system does not let me give a 0 star.
The process is a well rehearsed scam.
I wish I had read the reviews before engaging this shoddy company.
Booked a service, on arrival the cleaners (who were 1.5 hour late) then proceeded to demand extra. I was left in a bind as I had to return keys the next day. Also they push for upfront payment which I declined. They were very aggressive with this.
Shoddy work (numerous examples)
Shoddy equipment
By no means professional standards for end of lease cleaning.

Left furious with this company

When speaking to their management they just lie.

Please read carefully, if you don't want to experience the nightmare I endured from this company.

I booked an end of lease clean to be completed for the second final date of tenancy & paid a deposit. I called the day prior to ensure that the cleaners are 100% confirmed for the following day (scheduled between 1-4pm).
The day of the clean, it reached 1:30pm and I needed to drop off rubbish to the council, I called the customer centre for an ETA on the cleaners. They ask you to be placed on hold for 2 minutes whilst they call the cleaners to get their ETA. THIS IS A LIE! When you hear them say this, it's rehearsed and part of their sales strategy. They tell you that they cannot get in touch with the cleaners but they confirmed that the cleaners will call me 30 minutes prior arrival.
3pm and still no cleaners. I grew concerned so called the customer service desk only to be asked to be put on hold again (for 2 minutes) whilst they call the cleaners. They then proceed to tell me that the cleaners are no longer coming! If I hadn't called, the cleaners just wouldn't have showed! No regard to reliable communication ahead of time so that I could organise another cleaning service to come in. I asked them to organise a substitute cleaner but they refused to do anything for the inconvenience caused. I requested a refund for my deposit which still has not been processed. I believe that this company is a scam, collecting deposits from as many people as possible.

They are a call centre located in India who are commissioned to bring in sales/deposits but do no see to finalise the job. Pay extra and go with an Australian owned company who does not rehearse their customer service lines or look at Air Tasker, I got my job done that afternoon using a reliable service.

STAY AWAY!

First let me say DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! EXTORTION AND SCAM! A friend of mine booked them for a week before I booked them and we both had the same experience. Their MO is to quote cheaper than most cleaners for a bond clean, stating “fixed price” and “bond back guarantee. Then they arrive at the property (sometimes late ,sometimes rescheduling or sometimes on time) look around and then say they will let you know when they done. Once you leave “the office” Will ring you and say the property is very big or dirtier than description or it’s going to take the whole day so they need to charge an extra $250.
Most people work full time, some are single moms who are time poor and cannot afford to lose their bonds or take leave to clean the rental, so they have no choice but to cough up. Luckily I was able to tell them exactly where to stick it and cleaned the property myself! I demanded my $50 deposit back, which only after I threatened fair trading did I receive. The following should be noted, I was quoted for a full bond clean (includes oven,stove and carpets) I cleaned my oven and stove the previous day so this wasn’t required. Overall the property needed a very superficial clean as even my showers and toilets were already cleaned during our move. This is their SCAM: no matter what your property looks like they will try get more money on the day knowing tenants are backed into a corner.
PLEASE please trust these reviews, avoid the extra stress, pay slightly more from the get go and use another cleaner (in hindsight I would use the one recommended by the estate agents to minimise the chance of losing part of your bond)
Absolutely disgusting behaviour,taking advantage of people in a stressful position. I hope Karma catches up to these crooks!

DAMAGED MY PROPERTY

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!
this companies cleaners badly physically WATER DAMAGED the bathroom door frame and the hallway carpet by choosing to hose down the bathroom using the shower hose and let the water literally FLOOD the entire bathroom and out the door into the carpeted hallway!! I physically witnessed them do this and they refused to remove water when informed it would cause damage and were told clearly to do so.
This company was hired to do a flat rate end of lease clean. The clean was not done to even a basic standard. The team they sent "completed" said clean with full carpet steam clean in barely 2 hours on a double story 2 bedroom house.
When inspected the property was no cleaner than when they started. The windows were actually worse then before they arrived with very obvious black streak across them.
Stove and range hood was left WET and when it dried it had a very large amount of white cleaning product dried onto all the kitchens stainless steel surfaces.
Toilets were full of whatever they poured out of their vacuums, carpets were left soo saturated it took 3 weeks and another company coming in to remove water to dry it out. I paid to have them
Do the indoor attached garage and all they did was sweep some dirt into a corner and left it there. Shower was soo dirty and covered in chemicals still I wiped a rag across it and the rag was yellowed and covered in thick gunk Window sills left black. Cob webs found in corners. Walls with big black handprints in them that actually weren't there before the clean. Door handles not even wiped and covered in dirty fingerprints.
Skirting boards entirely untouched by cleaners.
Job simply was not done.
When I informed the team on site of these issues BEFOFE they left they indicated that they wanted to go home And that they are finished and would not be fixing any of it.
Flat out Refused to fix obvious shown issues.
Contacted company immediately and was told that I'd have to send photos and book a re clean for over a week later when I wouldn't even have access to the properly any more despite cleaners not even having left the property and directly refusing to complete their work.
Company also informed in writing many times of flooding incident in the bathroom
And sent photos of the very newly
Severely swollen door frame that was damaged beyond repair.

Company spent over a month claiming they were " investigating" The incident and actively dodged any discussion with me and/ or liability claiming that it was not possible that their staff behaved that way or caused such damage. The overall way they handled this has lead me To believe that this company does not have insurance and causes damage and refuses liability frequently.
I Provided this company with all requested evidence including both before and after photos of the damaged space as well as the real estate report specifically stating the frame was ACTIVELY wet and squishy multiple days after the clean still. Company entirely refuted all claims based on nothing more then the verbal
Word of their cleaners that they simply "didn't do it"All evidence refuted by them. Spent 26 phone calls each an hour or more trying to resolve this issue with them. Any and every big of ridiculous evidence and paperwork was provided to the is company to help resolve this just short of a physical video recording of their staff damaging the place.
Damage cost me $1500 to repair and put a stain on my otherwise spotless rental history.
So overall.
-Clean not actually done,
-Had to pay another company to
-Fix the carpet that was going mouldy because of the amount of water still in it days later
-$1500 in damages done to property
-REFUSED A REFUND.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this cleaning service. Despite multiple discussions and a detailed quote, the cleaners did a substandard job. I specifically requested the balcony to be cleaned, which was included in the quote. However, upon arrival, I was informed that only the floor would be cleaned. If I wanted the balustrade cleaned, it would cost an extra $70 because they considered it as cleaning windows. At no point during our five discussions was this additional charge mentioned. To make matters worse, they didn’t even clean the floor properly; they just vacuumed it, leaving it almost as dirty as before.
The situation in the bathrooms was equally appalling. Water was splashed everywhere—on the walls, the toilet, and the floors—as if they had simply hosed everything down without actually cleaning. Stains were still present in the sink, and it was clear that nothing was cleaned appropriately.
Despite seeing bad reviews after paying the deposit, I gave them a chance. When I questioned the bad reviews, they assured me they were fake. Now, I realize those reviews were truthful. I initially considered hiring them for another job, but I will never use their services again and will warn others against them.
For over $450 and two hours of work, I expected a thorough cleaning. Instead, I received a poor job and an insulting offer of a $50 voucher for a future booking. Why would I ever book them again after such a terrible experience? Save your money and avoid this company at all costs.

Below is an email sent to Jag, their customer complaints handler. We have moved from NSW to VIC - and this is STILL going on.

May 5th
"Incredibly disappointed with the lack of service.

I was told when booking that the cleaners would be at our place from 10-1pm.

I received a msg yesterday to call your offices and confirm the booking. I called, was on hold for up to 30 minutes with no answer. I msged back saying confirm but did not receive a response saying everything was booked in and going ahead.

Today, no one showed up at 10am when I had someone waiting to give your people access to the property. I called at 10:30 to be told no one would be at the property until 1pm.

At 1pm, still, no one had arrived at the properly.
30 minutes later a lady arrived and was rude to my sister who had been waiting with her two kids for you staff to arrive. Demanding money and then telling her that she couldn’t start until she spoke with her manager.

Sounding like a massive scam, (your business), scared because you “guarantee” a 100% bond back promise - I was told that this no longer stands because we live in an older house. Now it’s starting to sound like a real scam.

My sister asked for your employee to call when they were almost finished so she could drive back and collect the key to our house. The cleaner never did this and left the house leaving the key in the letter box - completely unacceptable.

The cleaner didn’t even call me, the client, when she completed the job.

I expect a call tomorrow, otherwise the above writing will be added to my 1 star review on Google."

- Received a call back from Jag outlining that it will take 3-5 business days to look into complaint.
- I find out 4 days later, not only did the cleaner leave the property, she left the property un-secure for 4 days!
- Real estate is more than welcoming to provide access to the property for cleaners to return and complete cleaning on the kitchen and some rooms which were reported as unclean.
- Email thread is now up to 35 emails on the 23rd of May and no one has returned to site to clean the property.
- Real estate agent was told by Jag that someone would attend site on Monday 19th May - no one called to attend site.
- Jag and real estate organised someone to attend site Wednesday 22nd of May with the instruction to call the real estate agent to gain access - again no one has called to clean the site.

I can not stress to any potential clients - DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. It has caused so much stress for myself, partner. When requesting a refund for the service is has been denied stating that someone will return to clean the premises.

Our old landlord has been holding off having painters come and paint the property as Jag continually says that they can refuse service if anyone else has been to the property as they may dirty it further.

ABSOLUTE JOKE.

I would rate these guys with 0 stars if I could. Organised an end of tenancy clean and the place was left still dirty.

1. Dirt marks still on the tile floors;
2. Wet mop streaks still left on the floors;
3. Walls still dirty and scuffed - they claim its permanent marking but I could easily rub it off with a sponge;
4. “Steam cleaned” carpets still dirty, with hair and grime still in the carpets;
5. Corners of the floors untouched.
6. Oven still greasy and dirty.

Trying to organise re-clean was a nightmare. Customer support was so slow that by the time the re-clean was organised, the power is disconnected and the keys returned to the agents. They tried to charge me an extra 60 dollars for the cleaners to pick up the keys from the agent.

Absolutely disgusting business!

Absolutely disgusting business!! More like a scam.

They promise a 100% bond back guarantee but as soon as you request a re-clean due the pitiful job their so-called ‘cleaners’ do, who did not even remove general dirt, dust etc, they claim they are not responsible for removing ‘permanent stains’. Not sure how loose dirt and hair are considered permanent stains!

They promise to have the complaint case manager call back but I’ve had to follow up 5+ times myself with no result. I was finally able to speak to someone who put me on hold for a while then the call was disconnected. I’ve tried calling since but they are clearly avoiding my calls as I can no longer get through.

Poor communications, empty promises and extremely shoddy cleaners.

I will be reporting this fraudulent company to Fair Trading immediately.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

I am now having to pay for a new cleaner to do my end of lease clean.

I paid for them to clean the place and…

I paid for them to clean the place and they did nothing!!!!! They left the place as dirty as it was when they arrived. They left lights on. Their customers service is poor. Do not recommend them at all. They took my money and did nothing.
