Worst Communication EVER - Had to chase them down and then cancelled order
Never received the order I placed. Very poor communication. Worst I've ever dealt with. I only received a mass email message when weather was going to cause delays on all orders from this place. Well, almost an month after I had placed my order, I had received no more emails, and no order! While I understand the delay of a few days due to weather, (yes, I was affected by that big ice/snow storm as well, and I know how quickly main roads and shipping companies were back up and running) this delay was RIDICULOUS. I finally contacted the company, who then informed me that they only had three spools of the thread color I ordered instead of the four of that particular color I had ordered. No communication regarding the problem with their supply EVER, and no communication on what I wanted to do with the order until I reached out. What were they thinking??? This is a very normal occurance for these small businesses, and I have always been contacted or refunded for unavailable order, but have always received something!!! It greatly delayed production of items I was working on. Horrible, horrible communication. Although the prices were good and customer service, once I reached out and contacted THEM, was prompt in responding, I will never use this company again. Too many other responsible small businesses who value their customers' time and needs. They would be wise to either just become a local company who doesn't deal with shipping, or really take a hard look at how they can improve actually shipping orders, dealing with orders that cannot be fulfilled, and communicating with their customers!
Addition to initial review: I would NOT trust their website reviews. They obviously don't post poor reviews, which is VERY misleading. The first hit on Google for reviews of the company is their website claiming that they have 19,286 five star reviews. Couldn't find anywhere on their website to leave a review, and that is part of the reason I came to Trustpilot to warn future potential customers of their poor communication and fulfillment practices. They are definitely not a five star company in my opinion, and apparently other people's opinion based on Trustpilot reviews. Thank you Trustpilot for being a source to get accurate information out!
Absolutely disgraceful customer…
Absolutely disgraceful customer service.
The last three orders i made were a mess, with very little communication, two of which they had to resend/replace, the last of which they had sent the wrong item, even after they messed up numerous orders i was pleasant about it and politely contacted them and told them they could either refund or replace the item understanding the shipping cost to the uk would be a waste to them for one item , they responded by asking me to send photographic proof.
I have spent thousands of pounds with them over the last year, and always been respectful and understanding when theres been issues but this was a step to far and i told them i was disgusted to be asked for proof when they have continually made mistakes.
I will be taking my business elsewhere, im so disgusted by them and not a single apology only a fake excuse after i called them out on it.
The only other criticism i have is they list many fabrics that they never have in stock and even when you sign up for notification for stock arrivals, you may get an email but its still out of stock, its pretty frustrating.
Although competitors have more expensive shipping, you have better choice and you wont be treated so rudely.
Great customer service
I purchased 4 cross stitch charts but one was incorrect. I contacted customer service, gave my order number and explained what had happened. I was told to keep the incorrect chart and was issued a refund. Love 123 stitch. Will definitely be using them for my cross stitch supplies and patterns.
Really happy with my order!
This place is really great. I decided to try them because I don’t want to support Amazon any more. I purchased a book, thread and fabric. Everything arrived exactly when order tracking said it would, carefully and perfectly packed. Shipping was $3.49 which is very reasonable. I will shop here again.
It’s a small business, so you might not receive your purchases as quickly as Amazon, but the quality and care are worth it.

Edit: The day after I wrote this, I got a response from CS saying that they have been having delays from n influx of orders, and my order would ship today. This is understandable, but maybe put some sort of notice on the site, so that people can go elsewhere when they need something within a short time frame.

This used to be a great shop. Customer service was awesome but an order i made a month ago has not had a tracking update for 3 weeks and ive been told to wait since it was the holidays. Two weeks have passed and there hasn't been any change in status or a response

Fastest order fulfillment even with very reasonable shipping cost. HUGE selection of stamps and dies, and some of the best prices. Lots of other papercrafting (and cross-stitch/sewing) products, too.

123stitch is a real boon for stitchers in the UK. The range of products is brilliant; postage charges are so cheap and the tracking service is excellent. What really impressed me though was that when I wanted to cancel an order shortly after I had placed it, they immediatle cancelled it with no fuss. This is my first port of call for embroidery supplies in the USA. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Shipping is amazing to the UK. Without 123 Stitch it would be so limiting. Orders arrive within a couple of weeks. You can see where they are with tracking. I contact them for requests and they sort it 100%.
I've been a great customer in the past
I've been a great customer in the past. It's usually the first shop I go to since they offer a lot of sales. In January of 2021, I needed to get the Monthly Pine Mountain Pillow kits. The store had the December on sale. When I ordered them, the December one was on sale. I am positive on this. When I got them back, I didnt get the sale price and was told that they don't discount those. That left a bitter taste in my mouth. Unless I have a gift certificate to use or desperate for a pattern, im not ordering from them again. (I was not able to date the purchase since it doesn't go back to 2021)

Ordering on line with this shop is amazing. Their selection is great and has carried everything that I was looking for and needed. All my orders were processed promptly, shipped and recieved within 5 days, coming from TX to SC The orders were packed neatly.
My only problem is everytime I looked in the store, I have to buy something.

Non-existent customer service
Non-existent customer service. They will respond to e-mails but not actually answer any questions, and always apologize for any inconvenience their lack of customer service caused. Instead of apologizing for garbage service, why not try to provide customer service? I guess copying and pasting an apology all day is their go to.

I have been ordering from 123stitch for years and, with one exception, have had no problems. In that instance, the wrong DMC thread was sent. They were easy to deal with and quick to respond; they sent the correct within days with no extra charge. Processing and shipping have always been reasonable for my orders. Based on my experience, I recommend this company.

They have the best prices but they need…
They have the best prices but they need to improve their shipping. I'm in the US and they can take a week or more to ship. Not sure why the delay is so long. Then once it ships it takes another 4-5 days. My most recent order I finally got a tracking number and they said it was shipped 5 days ago but the tracking number still says pre-shipment. Contacted customer service and they blew it off, just said if it hasn't arrived in 10 days contact them again. Meanwhile USPS says they haven't even received the package yet. Customers are waiting on these items to be able to start their projects.
