Great experience at Stokers at Chester. We have been 3 times to this fabulous furniture store & each time the staff have been friendly & welcoming. Today we have made what for us is an expensive purchase but the whole process was made into a pleasure with help from Steve to finalise our choices & cost. We would whole heartedly recommend a visit if you are looking for nice quality furniture, competitive prices & good old fashioned service.

Steve Wood from Chester branch was extremely helpful on our recent visit, took time to explain things to us, we have used Stokers in the past & find the staff always polite & leave you to approach them & not pounce like other stores, store is clean & tidy, including the car park, customer service is amazing, they even done a dummy run to see if our new suite would fit through the front door, I like Stokers because I like to support family run independent business, rather than the bigger companies & a lot of the furniture is British made, just ask & they'll tell you, again something I like to support, would highly recommend.

I recently went into stokers Southport to purchase a mattress for my son.
We were greeted by Carl Sixsmith who I have previously bought off before. He is very knowledgeable about all things beds/ mattresses and my son was able to get the mattress he felt suited him.
I also made enquiries about a sofa I am interested in buying and Carl was very helpful with that also.
All in all a fantastic place to buy with lovely friendly staff.

travelled several furniture shops to end back at Stokers to purchase a corner Sofa, Steve H looked after us very well and offered some good advice too. Good alround experiance.

I rang Stokers of Chester inquiring about a sofa. I spoke to Julie Williams who helped me. She was very knowledgeable about the product and went over and above to see that my requirements were met. I ordered the sofa straight away. She has subsequently contacted me with updates on my order.

Karl offered us good advice and helped us make the right choice for our needs. Very friendly and professional.

We wanted a new sofa and chair, Steve was super helpful and patient. We found the ideal one. Great price and the quality is superb. Wouldn't shop anywhere else for furniture.

Went to Stokers in Southport to look for a new bed and mattress. There is a good range to try and the staff member we dealt with, Carl Sixsmith, was very helpful. He approached us soon after we arrived and answered our initial questions and then left us alone whilst we tried the mattresses etc, other than if we approached him. Once we'd chosen a bed and mattress, he made us aware of the different options available to us (colours etc) and was very patient whilst we went through that. Stokers were also around £2,000 cheaper than Bensons! At no time did we feel pressured or pestered into making a purchase.

We have dealt with Stokers in Chester over several years and have always been impressed with the quality of the products, pricing and staff.
We’ve just ordered a leather 3-piece suite so can’t comment on these items or delivery, but Mark Cain has been an excellent member of staff to deal with - knowledgeable, courteous, welcoming and always helpful and never ‘pushy’. Other staff (Andy?) have also been easy to deal with. Would recommend.

When we visited Stokers in Southport today it was a very good experience, no trouble for the staff no hassle to buy just pure help all the way and thanks to Chris Sixsmith for all his help we actually bought what we went for and didn’t leave disappointed, we will definitely be shopping at Stokers again and will recommend to family and friends thank you once again.

For the third time this year we've been to Stokers and always been impressed with the service. We've bought and armchair, two beds and latterly a three piece suite. Staff have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. They know the products that they sell and advice is always spot on.

We visited stokers of Chester as we wanted to renew our three piece suite. We looked round this rather grand store and saw several suites. We called the sales person over he introduced himself as Martin Cain who helped us with measurements and materials and we settled on one suite altogether it was a good experience thanks to Mark.
