Very professional with good advice…

Very professional with good advice regarding the products required. An all round excellent service along with Mark's approach would make me shop at the store in Exeter again.

Pure Classic system

We contacted the Exeter store to see if the item we wanted was in stock. The gentleman was very helpful answering our questions. We subsequently visited and ordered the item and it was delivered the next day. Brilliant service all round.

As always the staff at Exeter were…

As always the staff at Exeter were brilliant!
Sadly my transaction was done by phone as opposed to a normally personal visit due to a stroke.
Being helpful is second nature to these guys, so thank you, and here’s to more transactions!
Almost forgot about what I bought!
Not having much space to play with, I needed a small sub woofer, first choice being a Rel TZero 1, but not being able because of a stroke to actually return it, I decided something cheaper would be better.
I had thought of the Argon Audio Malmo Sub 8, but then saw the Canto Sub 8,with seemingly better specifications, at £100 less.
Glad I did! This sub isn’t far short, if at all on either of my previous REL’s
If you don’t want to spend more, this is definitely one to consider!

Average overall

Sales guy very helpful on phone and I wanted to order with store rather than online.

On collection service was ok, but could have been friendlier and more relationship building. Made me question why I didn’t order online and have it delivered.

Really friendly on the phone but one of the shop staff was a bit stand offish.

Great price and awesome product..

If the shop manners matched the phone manners it would be 10 out of 10

Salesman was impatient and it seemed he wanted us to decide pay and go, shop was quiet so he was not exactly busy. I was undecided as to exactly what I wanted and his answers were somewhat brief and not very forthcoming.

Customer service is what makes the difference

I actually learned a lot just from talking with Nick in the store. No selling, just a run through of options and taking time to understand my requirements. The sort of service that turns you into a repeat customer. Great to talk to a real person, in person, rather than a web site chatbot. I'm very happy with the product that I chose.

Purchasing my Technics music system was…

Purchasing my Technics music system was very easy and hassle free, the system was easy to connect and the sound is fabulous for an all in one system...
Delivery was more problematic as it was due on the Friday and I was given an hour time slot, but the system didn't arrive
I checked again and it stated the delivery person was running behind and they would deliver soon, but unfortunately they didn't turn up
So I didn't get the system until the Monday afternoon, luckily I was able to leave work earlier to get back in time for the delivery, but apart from that I'm very happy with the music system....

Advice you can trust

As has happened a couple of times at Richer Sounds, I just went in for a small preamp, and came out with the preamp, new connectors, 6m of speaker cable, banana plugs and a pair of floorstanding speakers!
They even helped carry my purchases out to the car.
The guys at Richer Sounds are knowledgeable, helpful and most importantly, approachable.
I'm no hi fi expert, but you can trust the staff to guide you towards the best bang for your buck.

Visited the Exeter branch to listen to Rel t5x

Visited the Exeter branch to listen to the Rel t5x subwoofer.
Mark set up the listening room changing the amp to allow me to stream my music to listen to.
He left me alone to listen and put the product through it's paces.
All staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
I am not a base head and just wanted to extend the lower range but it can really thump out ground shaking base if required.
I bought the Rel t5x subwoofer and I have no regrets and I am thoroughly enjoying them.
