Paid my premium for motorhome…
Paid my premium for motorhome insurance, I now have to make a claim. No help whatsoever, "we are just the broker you need to contact the insurance company your with" I am sure I paid my premium to Ripe Insurance

Our claims information can be found within your policy booklet, along with the option to make a claim within your members area.

Unbelievably difficult to buy this…
Unbelievably difficult to buy this policy !!! Once purchased tried to access the policy details. Had to sign in to my account .... Didn't have one ? so therefore had no password ??. Clicked "change password" to find it wouldn't accept anything less than 15 characters !!!.
Eventually got into "my account" to find NO DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE !!!!. So am I insured or not ?
The premium went from my account within seconds !!!

Gun Insurance
I recently took out specialist airgun cover with Ripe Insurance, and overall I’ve found the service straightforward and well‑suited to responsible shooters. The policy is easy to understand, the documents are clearly laid out, and the cover for accidental damage, theft, and public liability gives real peace of mind when transporting or using airguns at the range.
The online sign‑up process was quick, with no unnecessary complications, and the ability to tailor the policy to the value of my rifles and accessories was particularly useful. As someone who shoots regularly and owns multiple airguns, I appreciate being able to insure them properly without needing a full firearms policy.
Pricing is competitive, especially considering the level of cover provided, and renewal reminders are clear and timely. I’ve not had to make a claim yet, but communication so far has been prompt and professional.

Was greeted by a very polite young man who went over and above to get me the price I was after, explaining all the add-ons to the policy as we went.
This is usually one of those tasks I try to avoid but my previous insurer sent me a renewal that was an absolute joke.
Now back with the same insurer as I have previously been with but with a far better broker.
I’d call that a win win.

So far, so good
It’s difficult to review an insurance without having made a claim. The process is simple and the customer service quick. The price is competitive. However, they don’t insure drivers on an entirely legal EU licence.

We'd like to clarify that the driving licence number must be a UK DVLA registered license as one of our checks are performed with their database. This means international licenses can not be used on a quote with us. We're sorry if this wasn't clear and appreciate that it may have caused confusion.
