I was limited to order the number of bottles

We were sent an e-mail showing wines from a winery that we had purchased from before. The wines were on sale and are among our favorites. It was easy to order the wines and place them on hold until the weather is better for shipping.

The tasting notes are very helpful and the selection is outstanding. I appreciate that they notify you when they ship - and they will hold it if the weather is too hot. We have been buying through them for 10 years now and have not been disappointed.

I have to say that I enjoy tremendously the option of picking my orders up at any Fedex dropoff location or their affiliated stores. It offers flexibility whenver I travel to another state. There were 2 incidents that I did not like the products, and in both cases their employees put themselves in my "shoes" and sent me the replacements promptly. It offers me hassle free service.

I thought my order would qualify for the $20 discount off of a $150 order of qualifying wines. Only one bottle (of 6) was marked as not eligible, with the price of the others combined over $150. At checkout a notification confirmed that $20 would be taken off. Then at the very last step the payment window informed me that I didn't qualify for the discount. Was this a discount that people who have the free shipping membership don't qualify for? I'm not bothered so much by the limits on discounts as I am by the conflicting messaging (one minute I'm told I qualify, then next, not) as well as a lack of info at the moment of selection about which bottles qualify and which do not... Consumers expect more information about discounts, generally; you run a fine shop but at a certain point folks will get frustrated and decide to order elsewhere...

Deceptive marketing practices. They offer a sale but it's only from a certain list, and only items with prices that end in 9 on that list. Those items tend to be products that are nearing the end of their life span if they haven't already. They offer to modify my order since 1 bottle was holding up shipping, but that meant cancelling the whole order and reordering at higher prices. I just cancelled it instead.

Easy to research new wines and the stewardship membership makes it worthwhile to keep coming back. Who doesn't want wine delivered to their door...lol.

Fast delivery, always secure packaging, and great wine. Good/fair pricing and the StewardShip membership is well worth it too with free shipping for a year! Highly recommend wine.com.
