Consistently good service
I have used Travelpharm for many years and have always been very impressed with the service. My only niggle with the most recent experience was that the medication I received had a relatively short shelf life (6 months). This should not be a problem unless our travel plans need to change.

We understand your point regarding the medication having six months remaining before its expiry date. While this was sufficient for your stated travel plans, we appreciate that having a little more time remaining can provide additional reassurance should travel arrangements change.
We normally aim to supply medication with several years remaining before expiry. However, the availability of longer-dated stock can vary depending on what we receive from the manufacturer. Over recent months, longer-dated stock has been more limited, and on this occasion the stock available to us had six months remaining.
Every travel health order is reviewed by one of our pharmacists, including the expiry date in relation to the customer's travel plans. In this instance, the expiry date was considered suitable for the travel arrangements provided.
This is not something we routinely experience, as we hope our previous service to you demonstrates. Thankfully, the supply of longer-dated stock has now stabilised, and our current stock of this product has an expiry date of 2028.
We hope this helps explain the circumstances on this occasion. Please be assured that we would never knowingly send medication where the expiry date was unsuitable for the travel plans provided.
