I am chuffed to bits with the towbar, and it's clear fitting instructions, even the dimensions for the bumper cut out were spot on. The towbar was delivered promptly without delay, packaged well in a strong cardboard box, and of very good quality. I would highly recommend Towequip to anyone considering purchasing a towbar, great price, and service.

This outfit MUST be Avoided! It's worth paying a little extra believe me. I received the bracket I bought having being convinced that they were a reputable UK company with 30 Years experience with Full Support - their website and Logo Boasts! The reality is VERY Different. The 'Full Instructions' were a joke. Several tiny drawings to install the bar itself which often did not match anything I was looking at! In the end I worked the mechanical side, given that I have a 1st Class Honours degree in Motor Engineering and so the fitting of a towbar is pretty basic to me! But then came the electronics box (PDC) OMG! So many options with ZERO WORDING to help you decide which of the MANY diagrams to follow! .. that's when I asked for their Help but their Chat Line was not answering and I had tried calling but the site said the person I needed was not available! I remembered getting help to buy it so I went thro the purchase selection THEN I got help! I told the operative the problem - but he had no clue! 'We'll ask the supplier he said! I e-mailed them 14/10 and after 6 Days the response said we didn't receive your message of the 14th (yeah right!) I then got a reply asking me which loom I had and part numbers - their were none! Then I was told to download a set of instructions DIFFERENT to those received! Various emails later and after asking them 9 questions to clear up their useless instructions and only received clues and questions from them .. then they advised me to ask an'Experienced Towbar Fitter' given that they boast of 30 years experience ... I thought I had! Roll on to 9/11 and after MANY e-mails they seemed to'Deliberately' to Fail to understand or answer, I received good advice from the Slovenian manufacturer who had received a forwarded email from Towequipe and they responded directly to me. These towbrackets can be fitted by savvy people but the wiring diagrams! ... you need to guess at which circuit to use and where wires belong .. and if you do buy a PDC to be fitted with reversing sensons, remember .. it is ONLY the cut common supply wire that enters the PDC to be switched and connects to pos'n 2 or 3, so ignore the other 5 wires shown entering the PDC as they do Not! The Towequipe personnel do NOT appear to have any Experience or training, they are surly and, it seems, complete novices who will only help you to BUY - any problems, you're on your own! AVOID THIS COMPANY - Read other Feedback, I am not on my own! I have a full record of all that was said and written if anyone needed proof!

(Approx. 8/2020) I finally got to use my tow bar for the first time because of lock down only to find the ball / bar end was very low on my empty car my jockey wheel hitting the ground. As I bought the tow bar on eBay just before lockdown I was unable to use it until after the eBay's buyers guarantee had expired!

When I reached out for support it took nearly two weeks for a reply and then they just requested more information over and over, delay after delay asking for numbers and photo's; all which were all supplied but all correspondence just stop and you have to start all over again.

I have had a towbar from them before for my van which was excellent but on this occasion I was at a loss, I didn't know what to do! I had a useless tow bar on my brand new car and a caravan I couldn't use.

It turned out that after a few bumps on the road the bar end would drop down due to the over-enlarged bolt holes and no matter how tight they were gravity would win. I had a local installer repair it by welding it in place to support which isn't ideal, have since sold caravan because of this whole kerfuffle as I didn't feel it was safe to use.

It's been a year since I contacted towequipe initially, their warranty might aswell be toilet paper if they just ignore you and hope you go away, going by other reviewers I'm not alone.

To Towequipe:
I suggest you stop with the silly rebuttals as I simply do not care, I'm telling it as it is, the towbar is only worth it's weight in scrap to me now which is where it will be soon. Who and what rating I give "good or bad" is my business and I don't just give bad reviews; Car Shades had a 5* review for impeccable service just yesterday from me, I think one star is generous, enjoy it.

I emailed you over the last YEAR several times ALL the info you asked for WAS SENT and I received NO HELP whatsoever from you. It is too late to fix it hence why I done care any longer, your silly statements are just nonsense, keep replying.. I can go on and on too! :)

Ordered a tow bar via amazon.
Sent an email saying item sent. By dhl.
Company would
Not supply a tracking number.
They then say sorry after 2 days dhl
Have lost it. We have sent it again. What a suprised yet again they won’t send a tracking number. Now they Say the batch was faulty and can’t send me a tow bar till 15/7. So what a bunch of lying barstewards. Do

Due to lack of information I had no idea when my 'in stock' order was coming. Couriers have texted to say delivery is tomorrow which is good. Pity an email confirming order and eta hadn't been sent out, otherwise it would be 5*

When you order using standard delivery, you don't expect your item to arrive the very next day. But this is exactly what happened. I can only say the Towequipe know how to please its' customers. And with fantastic prices for theit products I have already added them to my 'favorites' list.

Sorry I was a bit dim in ordering the wrong size snow chains, however the wonderful Galina in customer services came to my aid, and I was able to send the old ones back and receive the correct size by return, all received within 2 days of ordering.

I received the tow bar within a couple of days of ordering but am waiting for a dry day before fitting. Excellent service
