I order a Ninja Foodie 9-in-1 from Simply Electricals over a month ago (12th April). I received no update about delivery so called them to be told it would be delivered two weeks ago. Nothing came. I called the following week to be told delivery would be last week. Nothing came. I have tried multiple times to call at the end of last week and today and there is no answer. I tried to email them using their online form and have not had a response. I suspect they may be going bust...

I ordered a dishwasher and was told i would be delivered last week. It didn't show up and I have received no communication since. I have tried to call the only phone number available and there has been no answer for over 4 days. I have tried to email and the email was sent back as undeliverable. The online chat has also not been available for days. My kitchen is being fitted this week and now I will have to pay extra for them to return to install it. I am starting to doubt if this is a legitimate company as not being able to make contact with anyone for such a long time is poor. I would appreciate some kind of response ASAP or I will have to notify my bank.

I ordered a washing machine but unfortunately wasn’t going to be at home on the delivery date which I let the company know. I was told “No problem. We will advise of next delivery date in your area.” Three weeks have now passed, no washing machine and no communication. I have phoned numerous times, emailed numerous times, left messages via online chat which is never available. I have heard Nothing! I would not recommend this company at all.

Ordered a cordless vacuum cleaner from them on EBay. Was told it would arrive at Argos in 3-5 business days. It was dispatched (or so they say it was) on the 6th. It's now the 19th and nothing. I emailed them twice through EBay, but they never responded (so ended up informing EBay to cover myself) and tried calling them on the phone, 4 times (on their website), but it never gets answered. I have now tried them via a chat form and enquiry form on their website. The saga continues...

Rang to buy a tv, was delivered and set up within about 2 hours of ordering! Excellent service, would definitely recommend.

I have waited for a month for my order but have been told it’ll be another two weeks - maybe! The customer service has been poor and have not kept me informed.

Tried to order an oven, went through the payment process, phone call from bank with security code, all authenticated, but Simply Electricals website threw up an error saying the card was declined. Phoned the bank, no block from their end. Phone call to the company and they gave excuse that the card number was wrong, that’s why it was declined. If this were true, why did my bank phone me for the security code? Why was it authenticed as correct via the bank?!

Edited to add: Simply Electricals have told Trustpilot this review is for a different company. This is untrue, I have the correct company, I have screenshots to prove it, unfortunately I cannot add them to this review of Simply Electricals. I am also receiving emails from Simply Electricals to say I have not completed my order… that email address is hello at simplyelectricals.co.uk

Further edit to their reply: my name is Gillian, I placed the order in my mother’s name. Phone call to the company was made by my father. A family affair just like your business… no need for my mum to create a Trustpilot account when I have one… the whole point of this Trustpilot site is to give reviews of online companies, so to say I should have decency and remove this review is absolutely shocking. That comment there proves you have zero customer service, nothing but attacking this warranted review. You say to phone you, we did, as originally stated.
Also as stated, if the card details were entered incorrectly, it would never have been accepted by your offsite payment portal, it would have been rejected as incorrect. As for the security code asked for by my bank, not once did I say it was the CV2 number on the back of the card. If you were a well run business, you would know about the authorisations that banks make when using cards online. In fact, these authorisations have only recently been increased to avoid scams and fraud. It’s like their version of two factor authentication.

Helped with delivery and organised all our guarantees for us and assisted with expert advice when we were unsure on what to purchase. Haven’t had this high level of service from anywhere I have purchased from in the past!

Website lets you sign up for an account, place an order, and go through the whole process, only to then have the order cancelled later via email for being outside of the delivery area - which could very easily have been screened out when the website checks your postcode during sign up rather than buried in delivery information in the website footer. Waste of time and effort.

Bought many appliances here over the years and have never been let down yet.

Just received my 4K UHD Samsung when I noticed Best Buy had a big weekend Super Bowl sale on the same tv for less than I had paid. I called Nice Electronics customer service and they immediately credited the difference to match Best Buy. Wow, needless to say, I will definitely buy from Nice Electronics again.

Customer service responded immediately, checked all security to ensure was being delivered to the right place and arrived in 48 hours, with driver giving me a 2 hour and 30 min update to arrival - great service would recommend

My Samsung TV was delivered on Time and with care, I will buy from Simply Electricals again in the future.

Came across Simply Electricals while searching for a new TV, great selection of all major brands at really good prices compared to Currys AO and the like. Ordering was really easy with confirmation sent promptly. Delivery within a couple of days and the driver telephoned to say when he would be with us and again when he was half an hour away.
Great service and prices from an extremely friendly retailer

Ordered an item from the online store, which was showing in stock. I have still to date not received an item I ordered exactly 1 month ago. I called up several times for information on the order and have received no update on the date it will arrive. Literally the WORST experience I have had while shopping online. An absolute joke to be honest. Never buying from them again, that's a fact.

I've used SimplyElectrical many times over the past few years & can honestly say I couldn't be more impressed with their efficient & friendly service! Knowledgeable staff & a real personal touch, it's great to see. Keep it up guys and you've got a customer for life with me!!
