If there was a zero stars option it would have been selected . Have been told they do not have telephone contact and can only respond via email . They also answer every email without a name . Ther customer service is worse than atrocious which appears to be the same on other reviews on here .

I ordered Fibor for dogs from Petplanet and it was delivered on Friday, albeit it was in a Royal Mail bag stating that the item was damaged before entering the UK. I contacted Petplanet customer service and as yet I have not received a response. Checking their website I must return the item within 7 days at my own expense, this is far from satisfactory.

Great company - good prices, efficient delivery and communications. My regular order was always prompt.

Ordered pet food on a Saturday. No contact from Petplanet regarding order fulfilment.
Chase up email send on Tuesday a.m., Still no contact by Wednesday. Really poor processes and customer service. Really can’t recommend them in any way.

Purchased an OmegaPaw "self cleaning" litterbox on this website, I use clumping litter as required by the manufacturer but the litterbox sends leaks at the back. Issue raised with the customer service team who raised that the clumping litter needs to be fine "grain" where this information does not come from the manufacturer. Now they are ghosting me for a reply. I have now escalated this as a format complain: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. I am still waiting for a reply. Also, no telephone number and online it states this company filed for administration?? so why are they still trading and robbing us customers? Verified order P95491

I set up a subscription with Pet Planet. I was expecting my next delivery and logged in to find that they had moved the date. At this point I only had 3 tins of dog food left. Had to do an urgent order at Zooplus. Please don't use Pet Planet if your dog or cat need special food as you could be left with no food.
Something has gone very wrong.

I initially used PetPlanet for dog food and my first delivery arrived successfully, so I decided to set up a subscription.

Unfortunately, the subscription service failed. The first subscription order was repeatedly delayed, but at no point did PetPlanet tell me it was delayed — I had to log in and check the status myself.

When complaining (by email, phone doesn’t get answered), PetPlanet offered to send the part of the order that was in stock, but they would have charged me for the full order, and then issued a refund, so I chose to place a new order myself. Sadly, that order also failed to arrive.

When I chased, my emails went unanswered until I demanded a refund. Then they cancelled the order immediately (this was past the promised delivery date), and I did receive a refund. I feel I should not have been charged for an order that was never dispatched.

I would strongly recommend avoiding this company if you need reliable deliveries or responsive customer service. You cannot trust delivery when it is promised!

Ordered two packs of cat food. My first order from this company. Delivery took two days. Upon receipt, found someone else's order in the package, and the second half of the postcode was incorrect. Immediately emailed Customer Services. After no reply, three hours later I managed to get a female on the phone. Most unhelpful as I was going to re order but the food was out of stock. In fact looking on the website, most cat food was out of stock.
Told her about the wrong order in my package and the wrong bit of the postcode. That's what I have here she says. I checked my end and my order went to them with the correct postcode. Not sure what happened, but the whole casual and unhelpful way this was handled made me ask for a refund. If this is the standard on a first order, I dread to think what would happen if I made further orders. Learned my lesson here.

I have been buying my dog food from PetsPlanet for the last 40 years with an excellent service, but this is not the case now. The website changed a few years ago and it is now much more difficult to navigate and is now not user friendly. They have no telephone number now for customer queries

My monthly repeat order was not delivered this week as it has been for several years now. No contact from Pet Planet via email. Went to their website to see they marked my order as unsent because "some items out of stock". Emailed to ask that they send what they DO have in stock. When I was told nothing was in stock I checked other online pet food providers who had everything I usually order. Cancelled my subscription because of the lack of communication. Apparently administration was filed on 13 April and I bet the company ceases trading.

I was a little hesitant at ordering because I'd heard they had gone into receivership but the website said they'd been taken over and everything working as normal. So on the
15th Apr 2026 I placed an order and it arrived the next day. Absolutely spot on.

Made the order early Friday morning, was surprised the order was delivered by dpd the next day. Great service and products where on sale at a good price.

Do not order from this company! Awful customer service set up, they didn't deliver my parcel and they take too long to come back to you so you can't resolve the situation. No contact number.

I have a lot of cat furniture, and the "SmartCat Door Climber" I bought from PetPlanet is easily the worst I have encountered. It's not worth the cost of shipping. The components are poor quality and the instructions merely show how the parts are laid out - no information about how to connect them. I had to Google around to find assembly instructions for an older and seemingly better-quality version, but I'm not going to risk putting this thing on my door.

Where do I start. I had previously had a parcel “go missing” with evri, it got replaced. But then last week it happened again, they then “resent” a replacement with DPD which also supposedly got lost, no explanation when I contacted pet planet they kept making false promises of it arriving to which it never did. I then got an email to review the order that I had never received which was just a kick in the teeth!Several emails later they finally replied and gave me my refund. I will NEVER order from this fraudulent company again and I would advise others not to either

I ordered a cat litter stray with top access - iris open top litter box - it is basically a bucket - my 2 year old cat would get stuck in it couldn’t get out (she is a very agile cat) also it is impossible to use a cat litter liner.

When I emailed and asked for a refund I was told as it had been used that wouldn’t be possible. When I phoned after this reply Kirsty told me it’s not suitable for litter liners - she doesn’t use litter liners in her litter tray 🥴 also whether the cat can get out or not does not make the item faulty - ah why didn’t I buy from Amazon - no wonder this company are getting so many one star reviews off late. So I have a plastic thing I can use as a bucket (all be it an expensive one) and lesson learned - I should have checked trustpilot before buying from this company!

Ordered a bag of dog food express delivery and received a bag of cat food! Now my dog has no food and it's not even a brand that's sold in shops so I can't go out and buy one! Absolutely fuming right now as I'm gonna have to temporarily change my dogs food and he's got a very sensitive stomach!

I have been ordering from Pet Planet for my cat's litter for a while and have always been satisfied......however now they have set up a new website and it CRAP!! Placed order took my money and didn't go through properly. They are having serious issues with it, not even answering their phones, when you ring there is a automated message telling you all about this problem. and they ask you to fill in the online form for a quick response which takes 48 hrs !! Not what I call quick. I am furious and feel like screaming at them because I need cat litter urgently, now have to buy from elsewhere and wait for refund. Odourlock which is best on the market is not easy to get, took me well over 1.1/2 hours to find it elsewhere. I have wrote them a stinking email and said I will not order from them again.

Something is off with Petplanet.co.uk.

I ordered in the past when we had pet rats and now we have ferrets I thought I'd trust pet planets reviews on the "Rat & Ferret Cage by PetPlanet".

Not only was this cage absolutely terrible and clearly designed in China by a blind person but to ask £199 for it is daylight robbery!

- The metal is terrible and SHARP in places.
-The ladders rarley stay in place, I have to cable tie them. Poor design.
-The short platforms are not stable at all and I woke one morning to a trapped ferret when it had fell down, same with the stupid bar lip around the platforms which feet get caught in - potential for broken legs!!
-The doors and locks are an absolute joke to say this is even "secure" I have to use a bungee cord on each platform to keep the doors closed.
There's much much more but this should suffice to make my point.

It is simply not fit for purpose and should be removed from sale under misrepresentation.

Following all this realisation after building the oddness start with a included A4 printed page about the company not accepting returns, which in the EU/UK US ILLEGAL for faulty or misrepresented products. Unfortunately we needed a suitable cage for our 3 new ferret babies so we stuck with the cage and moved on.

I then got an email to review the products I bought. I wrote a HONEST but negative review on this cage.... One week past then two and that review never displayed, having my own website I know behind the scenes reviews can be set to not display below X stars and it's disgusting practice if you do this.

Now after revisiting the site it seems like they've overhauled everything and no reviews or even my own account is available anymore... Which doesn't exactly fill me with confidence.

I won't trust this company again. Cage is now in storage until I figure out what to do with it.
