They would not publish my bad review of an inferior product and said, "Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines." This was my review of adidas shorts. These products are cheaply made - inferior quality. DONT BUY!!! I don't they are are authentic brand name products - but a knock off from China. I order on line all the time, but will no longer order from EASTBAY. When I returned the product because it was defective - they made their own judgement call, said it wasn't and did not give me my full refund

Customer service is Zero stars. Returned football cleats for a different size. Told they have have the size we needed in stock and would take 2 weeks to receive. Called after the 3rd week on 2 different occasions to checks on the order and was told they would be on the way shortly. Never received them, 3rd call I talked to a supervisor and he said there was never an exchange order placed and the cleats were out of stock. Took a Month of my time. Ordered from Dick's with no issue

We ordered a pair of cleats for my son. He received them and tried them for one hour at an indoor training facility. The cleats were painful and the wrong size so we returned them. The refund was denied because the refund department decided they were dirty and that they could not be restocked. I called customer service, waited 45 minutes for help and have been told that there is no disputing the decision of the return department. The man on the phone offered no help, would not send me to his manager and said there is no phone number to contact the return department. I do not understand this type of service. How is an athlete expected to buy shoes online and not be given the freedom to try the shoes. I could understand if the shoes were damaged but that is not the case. It was the wrong size. Every other online retailer take returns and at the very least will communicate and address the needs of a customer. This is a shady business model and I am disappointed in the way I have been treated. I am most disappointed that we gave this company additional business by ordering a replacement shoe expecting to be treated fairly and given a refund. I understand now why there are so many negative reviews about Eastbay. I will definitely be adding mine to the list. This will be the last time my family makes any purchases through this business.

If I could give them less than a star a would. This company has horrible customer service! We purchased a pair of Nike baseball cleats which turned out to be too small. They were tried on and worn inside for about 2 minutes. When we sent them back Eastbay refused to exchange them for a larger size due to the "worn condition" of the shoes. Apparently a few dust spots equate to "worn condition." Buyer beware, do not order from this company!

Return policy is non-existent. Shoes were purchased, tried on, and returned. The return was denied because the sole was 'discolored'. Deceptive at best, will never purchase from Eastbay again.

Ordered a pair of shoes, ship to my previous address by mistake , I called right away to ask them how can I change the adress or cancel the items, they said now I can’t it’s policy…. THAT’S BS

Terrible customer service and ordering experience. Made an order by error and couldn't modify it or even cancel it, because, and I quote: "their system doesn't have such functionality". They force you to receive the package (which can take week minimum) and then go through a return/refund process, which can take even longer. All in all you're looking at probably 3 (if you're lucky) to 8 weeks just to get your money back, and that's assuming they don't scam you during their "inspection" upon receiving the package back and reject your request and therefore don't get your money back. Note that it was all during the same day the order was placed; it wasn't shipped, and the card wasn't yet charged, everything was still pending, they just refused to cancel.

As a recommendation, please also stay away from champssports.com, it's the same site (literally, just a theme change), backed by the same people, with the same bad practices (look them up on TrustPilot). I believe Foot Locker is also the same, but you'd have to check.

The website is absolute garbage via phone and laptop. Constantly getting error messages on every page. I use to have good results purchasing but I will be dammed if I buy shoes off this platform. Oh wait, I can't event get into the shoes without getting error messages.

Worst experience I have ever had shopping, I wear a shoe size that most stores don’t carry so I always have to order online. I purchased a new pair they arrived and didn’t fit. So I started a return and sent the shoes back exactly how they were received, only to come home today, 2 weeks after they received the return and find that shoes were shipped back to me, and a refund would not be issued because there was a little dust on the sole from me trying them on. Customer service was of no help as they just said the same thing and that that decision was final and I was basically s**t out of luck. This was my first time buying from them and will be my last as I’m now stuck with a $160 pair of shoes that don’t fit.

Horrible! Their return policy is basically nonexistent. I will never shop here again and customer service didn’t help at all. I hope they go out of business…what a joke.

I signed up on with Eastbay for the FLX program to get free shipping - all of the items that I attempted to purchase were excluded from the shipping offer - not sure the purpose of the FXL account other to overwhelm you with other worthless offers. I would rather pay more with an another vendor that does not miss lead me.

Eastbay Automatically Cancels Orders Without Telling Why.

Placed an order with Eastbay since they were running a promo with my CitiBank Mastercard. Not 5 minutes after receiving an order confirmation and receiving notice that Eastbay placed a pending charge on my card, I was informed Eastbay cancelled my order. I emailed customer service how I could get Eastbay to NOT cancel my order when I re-order. Frankly they were no help and stated: "We are not at liberty to coach customer's in ways to get around our payment verification process." They also snarkily stated: "it would behoove you to peruse the terms of use on our website." I simply wanted to know WHY my order was cancelled so I can call CitiBank to rectify it. So I asked if they could re-issue the promo code they are running so I can process the order with a different payment card but was instead told to: "watch our website for the current promotions". What's the point of watching the promos if you cancel my orders and I can't use it with a different card? Honestly, 0/10 if I could. No answers or support provided. Frankly, you could have less politely told me to p##s off if you didn't want my business.

We ordered football cleats for my son. When it arrived it was too big. We contacted the company and they advise us to do an exchange. while we are on the phone with them, they mentioned that inventory is low, and we should not wait for the exchange. They advise you to do a return and at the same time to purchase another pair with the correct size because of the low inventory. We proceed and took their advice. now after we received the new correct size, we were waiting for the refund on the first pair.
When we call to check on the refund, they claim that the cleats are used, and they only can give us an E-gift card. We told them that the cleats had never been used and after the return, we purchased the correct size. in the initial call to customer serve ice, the rep spoke with the supervisor and approved the refund to the credit card. Two weeks later we did not see any refund so we called customer service. The rep was very rude and unhelpful, and when she let me speak with the supervisor, the supervisor was by far the worst experience of customer service I ever had. She keeps claiming that the cleats were used (claimed by the return department) but she can't give me proof that it was used, therefore I am getting an e-gift card.
When I asked to speak with the manager, she claimed that she can't do that and she is the highest that I can speak with. I am expecting a full refund for my original large-size cleats, and an apology for the rudeness of the supervisor. in my job, we handle 4000 customers a year, and never ever acted this way to a customer.

If they find a spec of dust on the shoe you returned using a microscope, they will deny your return. My kid tried on a pair of shoes for 2 minutes in the living room, said they were too small so we returned them. 3 weeks later we get them back in the mail saying return denied because they were "used". STAY FAR AWAY from Eastbay folks. 1.7 star BBB and 1.5 star Trustpilot average review is all you need to know.

Purchased a pair of Timberland Boots four months before Christmas. Nephew tried them on and did not like the fit. I contacted Eastbay one week after Christmas and they refused to return a brand new, never worn, pair of boots. Lost $212 dollars. Very poor customer service, Jaqueline C. was who I dealt with. I learned a valuable lesson, do not purchase from Eastbay, there are many other shoe stores who will return their products.

Terrible Customer Service. Tried my shoes on and walked around in them for 5-10 min and they were too big for me. Returned them and they denied my exchange. Will never be purchasing from Eastbay again.
