I can't say how I feel about this company their customer service is appalling.I bought a summit windbreaker from them and it basically doesn't work at all so I complained, as the cost of returning the windbreaker ( that is not fit for purpose ) ,exceeded the price . They will not reply at all . I contacted citizens advice and they feel I should write to complain that the product is not as described and not fit for purpose. Yes more time on my part while they have my money for an item that doesn't work ! Don't use them go somewhere else where they do have customer service .

I bought a tent online on 24/06/16 with next day delivery (but didn't expect it until maybe the next Monday or Tuesday) but got an email to say it's not in stock and qorld be a few days. Today - 30/06/16 I called them (long wait on phone) and they said it would be at least 5th August!!! Good to say it's meant to be next day delivery and was showing in stock!! the oreer has been cancelled and went to Winfields online and got an even better deal. Reading other reviews - I think this is how they operate. STAY AWAY FROM THEM

The delivery page states: "We endeavour to despatch products ordered before 1pm for UK delivery for next (working) day delivery. However during busy periods due to stock availability, delivery and payment card verification issues, next day delivery is not always guaranteed".
I ordered before 1pm on Monday, rang on Tuesday to ask why I had not had a dispatched email and told it was on a 72 hour Yodel service!!!!!
£4.95 for a 4 day (if I'm lucky, as it is Yodel!) service!
I suspect this is the latest excuse for having no stock.
Shocking! Misleading! If you need your order anytime soon, DO NOT use this company.

A very pleasant company to deal with probably because they are a family business. Needed advice and received friendly service which helped me to save a few pounds. The tent and awning arrived next day and the rest of the order two days later (as advised on the phone). Very good all round and wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Ordered Vango airbeam at a great price,collected the following day,staff very helpful and loaded into my car. Great service

Ordered 20 vinyl map cases. Concerned having read some of the reviews but delivery was quick and quality is OK for the price. Only adverse comment is that they didn't advise that the order had been dispatched as promised i the order confirmation.

Ordered item on the 8th for next day del, told out of stock but would be in within the week (shortage in warehouse). I gave it two weeks, still hadn't arrived. Emailed to chase, no response! Called four times and stayed on the line for over 15 mins a time, first in line but no one answers. Emailed to cancel, then got a response the next day saying they had cancelled my order on the 14th, today is the 29th... They had not emailed!

As far as I can tell this company does not carry any stock. If you order next day delivery do not expect your items to arrive anytime soon.

I ordered 5 items, a walking pole, mattress, gas fuel, rucksack and headlight. 4 days after ordering I was wondering why my order had not been dispatched. I called and they said they are waiting on a delivery, I asked which item was missing? ALL OF THEM. It took nearly 3 weeks for them to get 3 of the items to my door, they never got my headlight back in stock (what a joke, what stock?) and the final item, the fuel arrived by royal mail instead of by courier.

As far as I can tell this company orders stock as they need it per customer, which means fast delivery or reliability is a sham.

DO NOT order from this dodgy business.

We ordered a family tent, mattresses, sleeping bags and a lot of furniture from this company. They were very friendly to deal with gave us a lot of good advice and saved us quite a lot of money. Everything arrived within a couple of days as stated. It was well packed and perfect for our needs. Very satisfied.

After placing an order yesterday i get an email today stating "Hi, thank-you for your order.Unfortunately, we have been informed by our warehouse that there will be a short delay in despatch while we await new stock to arrive.
We are expecting a delivery from our suppliers in the next few days"

Just called them to find out more info on the delay I asked them did they not have a live web database so stock could be updated or weather in or out of stock..only to be answered by an insincere lady telling me they were looking into getting a live stock database on the site. I asked them how long i would need to wait for my order She tells me they will get they item in to their warehouse in around 7 to 9 days. The email I received states "We are expecting a delivery from our suppliers in the next few days"
The person on the phone didn't seem to be in the slightest bothered by the inconvenience caused but did offer an VERY VERY insincere apology. I immediately cancelled my order and will never order from them again

Unfortunately I didn't read reviews about this company before, only after 2 days passed of the promised NEXT DAY deliver that I clicked to search about it's reputation as you can see is ridiculous !
I am so angry and p...off for being so silly believing they would deliver next day. I am first time camping with my family and 2 year old son this night and I am really angry that they left me waiting so long to do my deliver which obviously is not here yet and I already called them to cancel my order. I called once and after reading here that people stayed hours over the cancellation line waiting to speak to AMANDA, I only waited 2 minutes and called again choosing the MAKE A new order line...and worked, in less than 1 minute she picked up and very pleased cancelled my order.
What can I say ? I'm gonna have to run out looking for something to sleep now because this company is a JOKE !!! I won't lose on money I paid since february to camp, but as I could read many people here lost it and it's a shame companies like that still trading freely !!!!

DON'T EVER ...NEVERRRR !!! BUY at any MANIA company !!!

We are going away on Wednesday on our first ever camping trip. Last week I ordered an Aerobed and a few other bits and bobs from Campmania. I left clear instructions that, if we were not in, it should be left with a neighbour and I gave 5 different houses they could drop it at on our cul de sac. We got back on Sunday to find the parcel propped up against our front door - we live in South East London - you just don't leave stuff outside your door!
When I opened the parcel the bits and bobs were there but no Aero bed (Oh phone's just been answered at 22 minutes - it's an 0844 number) Guess what - they don't have the Aerobed in stock until mid-week. "Oh sorry the website isn't live." The girl on the phone wasn't rude but what a terrible service and the phone delay was long and expensive. Outrageous and ridiculous. Don't use this company.

Last week I ordered a camping mat which was advertised as "in stock" with "next day delivery". I called them on the day and was told it was not actually in stock but expected that day and I would have it within the next few days. 6 days later they have failed to contact me to explain where my item is, no update whatsoever. I have had to call them (on hold at my cost for some considerable time) to be told the item is still not in stock, but on checking the website it is STILL advertised as in stock with next day delivery - simply unacceptable. I asked for a call back on when the item will be in stock, but am still waiting. I have now had to order from elsewhere and hope I receive it in time for my holiday which may now be ruined by having nothing to sleep on due to their false advertising and dismal customer service. I would not suggest buying anything from this company based on claims on their website given it is clearly totally unreliable.

It seems from other reviews over the past 6 years, below, that Camp Mania have a habit of making false claims about stock availability and delivery and the only conclusion can be that they just don't care and intentionally make false claims to entice customers to buy from them. That's a pretty despicable lack of respect for their customers and fundamentally dishonest.

First thing to say is that I would recommend Campmania without reservation. I have ordered from this company three times and each time they have impressed me with their speed of delivery, low prices and excellent advice. Whether it's ski clothing or camping kit, their customer services team seem to know the products inside out. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company as one of the best outdoor clothing and camping retailers anywhere on the Internet. Excellent!

Advice was spot on and service was great. Everything arrived next day well packaged and thanks to some really good advice everything was spot on. Can't recommend enough. Great company to deal with.

I ordered a Coleman tent from Campmania via their website on Saturday afternoon and received my delivery Tuesday evening.
I am very pleased with my new tent and I paid a very competitive price for it.

I ordered tent,sleeping bag and associated items ..on the 16th July and received most of the goods on the 18th there was no warning they just turned up.on the invoice it stated tent to follow... After a a week of ordering the tent I called the customer service line and was hanging on the phone for a good 10 minutes being informed I was first in the q..then after the 10 min I spoke to Amanda who went away and check on the status only to tell me that thier supplier didn't have them in stock ...I questioned the delivery next day statement on the website and Amanda stated that it wasn't a live website and it meant nothing....I suggested that they should be more accurate when displaying this sort of thing on the website Amanda didn't seem to care and ..I just got the order cancelled ...the attitude was poor and tine seems to not give a fig! Don't use this company. At all...they are yet another website with a flash website but no service behind it....off I go to find a tent from a local supplier ....

Ordered a Gelert Cabana tent, decided I needed something with a little more headroom than my old dome tent. well pleased by the price and delivery, No extra cost to N Ireland, super .

I had spent a considerable amount of time searching for the right tent, more importantly.... at the right price. I found both at Campmania. The price was the best around, the website incredibly easy to use and the delivery very fast indeed. I would have no hesitation at all recommending this company to anyone. I'm now just looking to see what else i can buy - all the things I don't know I need until I see them on this site!
