Iwas directed towards a butcher's block of a certain size because I was told that it was in stock while one of a different size which I asked for was not. i paid the invoice and waited. Then I received an email asking if I was satisfied. No bucthers block had been delivered and when I rang up I was told that the one ordered (on your recommendation was out of stock). This seems to be a bit of a shambles. Not happy.

I was impressed - the order was correct and arrived before time. Packaging was good and the product was in good condition. Prices competitive and a reward points scheme. I will order from them again!

Postage to expensive

I had to have a replacement butchers saw and poultry chopper for a demonstration. I ordered on line late at night and then realised I hadn't ordered an extra blade. By 8:20 the following morning the order conformation was returned. I phoned and added the extra blade and up graded to next day delivery. All paid there and then with no question of adjustment to the on line order. Great service many thanks.

A great company to deal with. Friendly helpful staff and the product range is just right - top quality items at a fair price.

Ordered a meat cleaver very early one morning and paid extra for next day delivery as I had some lambs to cut up and get in the freezer. Delivery confirmed ok as next day before 12.00 but come the day nothing arrived and I had to mange without the cleaver.
When I called to enquire what had happened I was told that the warehouse operative had written the wrong postcode by 1 letter and my item had been sent to a Plymouth postcode (PL) not Peterborough (PE). They refunded the speedy delivery charge without question but I've now got an expensive cleaver sitting around unused. Suggest they might want to invest in a printed label system for their deliveries not rely on dyslexic warehouse people.

Ordered items on internet - no problem. Advised that there may be extra delivery at time of order but paid the total that came up without any additional price. Next day the salesman calls and advises us that there will be £13 surcharge for courier even though we live in mainland Scotland (Morayshire - not Highlands). So there is a delay while this is paid as there's not paypal facility. When the items are dispatched a 48hr service takes three days (this is not unusual) but they have come via parcelforce, who include our postcode in the same zone as the rest of the UK. No explanation of extra costs given although we requested it.
Items are fine, well packed etc. Salesman did well up to the point where he was asked to explain additional delivery costs. 3 stars for quality of items.

the oval steel i bought is great it has my knives in great order working in a abatoir my knives get plenty off hard work.The online service for paying with your card did not except my card i rang the company got it sorted in 5 mins got next day delivery not a problem.many thanks.
