Paid for an item and within a short period of time received texts pretending to be our bank!

We immediately contacted the bank to freeze the card and were told that a further 3 attempts to use our card had been made. Reported to the fraud team and police! Avoid these low life scammers!

Total scam! The website makes it look like you are purchasing an item for below normal price, but you are simply paying for a search service and still have to pay the actual price of the item on the website they find for you! You are paying for a price comparison!

Do not go on Adam's website it is a scam. I tried to purchased a window cleaner, but we have just been scammed out of £6.02 by Adam's. It is a Search Service and they claim to find your product. No idea what we will get, how much it will cost or when we will get it. Having to cancel our card. I wish I had read trustpilot before proceeding with the purchase. How can we get ADAM'S taken of the website?

It never provides any service or get me the product I was looking for but they took the service charge directly to my bank. Avoid these scammers

Avoid these scammers. This is not a real shop and they are taking money under false pretences. Contacting my bank and freezing my card, also will be reporting their website. Fraudsters and thieves.

Oh how I wish I’d read these reviews before I got scammed. I am usually so careful, but with the name ’Adam’s’, I felt like it was British and safe. (Very clever). I am however very grateful for the advice on these reviews, to cancel my card and also put a block on their account so that they can’t take any more money from me. I did this straight away, even though it was late at night.

Well, they scammed me, took money from my account and email address, password, postal address. Came up on google as a recommended shopping result, but it's a scam. Have reported the website

It is a Scam. I was looking for surveillance camera. Clicked on the website to buy. One week later, checked if my item is on the way. I clicked on my account to see that it is a search company. Looked at my bank account to see that they taken £6.20 for something I never agreed. Adams or Xikixi is the same. There's Google if I want to search an Item. You Scammers. I m going to contact my bank

please dont use this company, as others say its a scam. stop your card asap. block all payments.

I feel this company is fraudulent and customer service is non existent. No communication available. I was just robbed and no explanation or response after hundreds of emails sent and chat messaging.

This website is a scam. Like others are saying, you don't get the products you choose at the price given. Instead you pay a 'holding fee' and someone sends you a link to buy the item (or in my case a completely different item) elsewhere. There are also estimated delivery times on the website but as you don't buy things through the website, this is false information. Email communication comes from 'Xikixi' partly in Spanish, partly in English. Please avoid. Luckily my bank could get me back the little money they'd taken.

Scam. You think you are buying an item from an English based company but you get charged a search fee to a foreign company who then tries to source your product. Made me very uncomfortable that I couldn’t contact or cancel so had to cancel my card to make sure no more money taken. Cost me £6.20 “search fee”

Avoid this company. My order was passed on to a company abroad who charged me a search fee. There was no way to cancel the order. Had to cancel my credit card to avoid any further payments.

Two very helpful lads in Jeremy and Reece nothing to much trouble. Got exactly what i wanted and more. Definitely go back and recommend to anyone pure quality cheers. Neil (Hull)

I literally just used them out of desparation!
I used the "contact us" tab then email them from gmail.
Got a response within 2 mins and they said I need to contact the seller directly with my order number etc as Adam's is just the market place for sellers to list their stuff.
I emailed back saying i dont have an order number because I havent ordered anything yet and need answers to some questions.
They ignored me.
I went to order the item anyway (like an idiot).
Put in my payment details and address.
Clicked "PAY" and the page did nothing.
I didnt dare click pay again.
Luckily it didn't take my money either.
I will keep am eye on my account though but damn.
STOP WASTING CUSTOMERS TIME!

Thankyou everyone for the feedback I checked this site before ordering and obviously it is fake and a scam. What a load of scumbags.
