Abbey Garden 

Having read a few negative reviews I was nervous. I need not have been, I had absolute 5* service. The pick up, given the busy time of year was reasonably swift, the problem with the tractor mower was identified and fixed and efficiently returned to me ahead of a weekends mowing. I dont know whether the business has changed hands or what but I simply dont recognise the earlier years negative reviews. Well done to Abbey Garden and thanks.

Awful service, ordered and paid for approx £100 of bulbs via their website Woodland Bulbs on 28th Oct. Nothing received, no response to email. No response to multiple phones calls. no one answers the phone.
2021 update - some of the bulbs did grow but turned out not to be the type ordered. This week the company contacted me finally ( only response I have ever had ) and offered to refund me if I take this review down.

I ordered and paid for various bulbs through the Woodland Bulbs website, end of Sep 2020. There was no email confirmation but the payment had gone through on my card. A follow up email to the company to check resulted in an auto-reply saying I needed to complete the transaction as there were items still in my cart. I returned to my order and paid again online. Two (perhaps foolishly on my part) payments made and instead of the items being dispatched within 1 day as the website suggests (I was staying with my mother for a short time and wanted them for her garden), no bulbs, no email replies, no calls answered, just an answering machine message from Abbey Country Gardens who, I assume are part of the same business. I sympathise with any company overwhelmed by orders or the current Covid-19 situation, but to not reply to any emails or answer phone calls is a pretty poor showing for any company. There are so many good and reliable companies selling bulbs, I'm annoyed I decided to try this one out. Best avoided I think.

I rang yesterday to chase delivery of my (paid for) order only to be told that the company was in liquidation. Telephone operator knew next to nothing and not any help at all. Website still up and running, so be warned

Given the positive reviews I can only presume either that they are fake or that Abbey are really hit and miss!

With me, Abbey missed so badly I wouldn't send them a pound if they promised £1,000 in return.

Basically ordered a mower blade and heard nothing for two weeks. Rang and tried to cancel but had to leave a message (three times). Sent several emails to cancel and saw they received but heard nothing back.

Next thing is the item arrives at my door. Rang to arrange a return and again no answer (left messages). Emailed several times and again heard nothing.

Ended up having to pay to return the darned thing and claim refund from my credit card company. All in all a HUGE waste of time, effort and money.

Ordered a product from Abbey Garden
Machinery,on or around ended of September early October before ordering I called them up and explained product part which I was told would fit I received the product on the 7th of October which was wrong. I called them on the same day spoke I with them and they confirmed to send back with copy of old part and they would send it to me. I received a return email with label and I posted it on the same day (7th of October)? all parts and old part. I heard nothing and I Telephoned again on the end of October. I spoke again I was informed it was ordered and would be sent out in a couple of weeks. It is now 18th of November I have received nothing 6 weeks since return and almost 2 months since original order. And 3 unanswered emails and many attempted phone calls which are never answered except in the morning! and a voice mail box that is always full. Shocking service do not order from them!?

Terrible company!!! not yet received my order two weeks down the line, cant get hold of them. Paid in full £40.00 there abouts, feel sorry for those who's order were 100 plus and still awaiting refunds or order.
speak to someone who's trading on there estate and they said it's under new management so ring back in one weeks time and they maybe able to sort the problem.
Very frustrating.

My order arrived within 4 days and was exactly what I needed.

Got to give Abbey Garden Sales a 5 star rating for their very quick response after my original order placed with them never arrived.

I would give no stars but its not an option! Ordered a part for a leaf blower, month in I heard nothing so emailed them. I got an email back saying rthey were very busy, and would respond when they could. They never, still not got parts. Ordered it elsewhere being delivered tomorrow.
How can they be too busy to reply to an email???

They are a bunch of charlatans - AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I have been trying for 4 months to get them to fulfill a simple order. Even disputing the charge through my credit card has not sorted things. They have the correct part listed on their web site but will not supply it. They are just being deliberately b..... awkward!

They won't answer emails or phone calls. If you don't fancy months of hassle then shop elsewhere.

Shockingly bad. I ordered a lawnmower 7 weeks ago . It still has not arrived and having been told I would receive a refund a week ago I am still waiting . AVOID HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS IRRESPONSIBLE COMPANY IF THAT IS WHAT YOU CAN CALL IT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like so many others, I'm sorry to report an awful service! Even one star is above the rating they should get! Ordered a clutch cable repair kit from their online store on 7th August. It stated "part in stock" but when nearly 2 weeks had gone past and it didn't arrive I phoned. After several calls trying to get through I was told there were problems with their supplier, but the part would be with me within 7 days. 10 days later still no part. On 29th August I phoned to cancel the order and get a refund. Again after several calls to get through, I was told to cancel my order by email which I did the same day. Now some 7 weeks later I still have not been refunded and despite several emails and phone calls there is no sign of any refund. The auto answering service on my last phone call asked me to leave a message but before I could say anything I was inform "drop box full, goodbye!". Avoid this company like the plague!!!!
