The showroom was brilliant. What most retailers lack is the ability to actually see and test the climbing frame you're buying. You don't know how sturdy a climbing frame is unless you can give it a wobble. They were very welcoming and we were encouraged to try as many frames as we wanted.

We bought the 'Plum Barbary Wooden Playcentre Swing and Slide'. We love it and more importantly so does our son. It's marked as 3+ but our son was only a year when we bought it as he's a natural climber. It's fine with supervision and it'll last many years as he grows up.

If buying for a very little one, you'll also want to buy the swing specifically for babies.

The only downside we've found and we were warned about it, is the fabric roof. The first rain will pool in it and you'll be left with a dark stain. This doesn't bother us though.

Lastly, the delivery driver was great. Arrived in the evening so it'd been a long day for him but he was still more than happy to help carry it through to the back garden.

Overall a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic staff. Ordered a Buzzy Nitro for my nephew and a helmet separately over the weekend. The staff refunded me a portion of the cost, as I would have received a discount ordering together, as well as the additional delivery fee. How's that for customer service!

I am very pleased with the plum single wooden swing set. It is very sturdy once built and looks good in a garden. I would recommend Wicken Toys to anyone buying wooden garden play equipment. The swing should last for years. The in house delivery is also a great service.
