Poor experience. The online checkout doesn’t seem to work, resulting in pending transactions on your card account. I received notifications from my bank that the transaction had gone through but when I checked online with pet express it had been cancelled. I telephoned pet express and also emailed them, with no response. I then had to deal with my bank to make sure the transactions were not going through. Very poor

Wish I'd read reviews before placing an order. It seems that several years on,, the non existent customer service has not improved. First order took forever to arrive and then received completely wrong product. Stupidly, gave them a second chance and ten days after taking my money, still no sign of my order arriving. Avoid.

What a rubbish site ordered dog food and 9 days later no order it’s not available for another 2 weeks that’s after the 2 nd email and the second talk with Brandon ,now waiting for two pacs ( 12 tins to arrive ) and the remainder of money to be refunded hopeless no customer service but quick to take money stay away

I have never been such a happy customer with the Ark, even before I got my puppy beaut I was offered so much advice and help from Lisa, Joe and Tammy. Excellent service staff are so friendly and kind in there. My little pup beaut was weighed their today with her harness fitted. Very proud dog owner and the Ark has made me feel so much more at ease. Highly recommend.

dose anyone know if this is a scam do this company all so deliver puppy to the home and why do i need to give gift card

I only put one star so I could write a review. What a shambolic company. I know they were super busy because of the pandemic. You could not get them on the phone which I tried to do when I could not track my order. I ordered on the 20th March. Had an email to say dispatched on the 31st March and then nothing. After trying to phone so many times I decided to cancel the order on 4th May. I eventually got through to be told they had cancelled on the 28th April. No e mail no apology. I was so disappointed as I like to support local firms. Re ordered somewhere else and got it in about 10 days. I have used the internet for all my shopping including plants and had no problems at all. I don’t recommend you use this firm.

Placed an order in March which took weeks to arrive (they did contact me to inform me of the delay which was fine) the main problem bring the packaging was poor so some of the order amounting to over £12 did not arrive as the packaging burst. I contacted them but have received no response three weeks later.

My experience of this company has been positive. Although I received no order confirmation via email I did actually receive my products very quickly. The packaging could have been better but other than that all was fine. I found the person I spoke to on the phone helpful. I think the company has been struggling to meet increased demand lately but is attempting to address issues now.

Same as the previous reviews only I ordered before 23rd March (pre lockdown) at a time when there were no messages on the site to say deliveries would be delayed. I understand the impact of Covid but why continue to take orders that you have no hope of facilitating?

When I emailed a couple of weeks back I got an automated response so no-one is actually reviewing anything from the looks of it. Not great if you're vulnerable and relying on this delivery. I've called but no one ever answers and have emailed to ask for a refund but still nothing. I've paid nearly £10 for delivery too! Terrible service.

They have nearly £100 of my money and I have nothing to show for it. I've managed to order the same from elsewhere which was delivered within a week but I've now paid out twice thanks to Pet Express with no refund yet. I haven't even had anything from DPD to say they have any kind of delivery (though that will make my refund easier as they can't lie and say they've started the despatch process as they have with others from the looks of it).

Will be getting my money back via PayPal from these crooks.

UPDATE: After logging a refund request via PayPal this morning, it has been accepted this afternoon and I can see the funds waiting to clear in my account. So if you paid via PayPal, this is how I recommend you dispute the case and get your money back. Hope this helps!

If I could give them no stars I would. I placed an order on 23rd March. It’s now 20th April, no goods, no reply to my 4 emails and no one ever answers the phone.

I ordered and received the two day delivery promise. I did not excpct that of course at this time but after a week asked when I might be getting the delivery. I was told 14 days from order to delivery. After another two weeks I asked again and was told 14 day to process then 14 days to deliver so 28 days. I cancelled the order as I had been in effect lied to twice. What would you have done and I will not be enagaing with them in future

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Having paid over £30 for dog treats, I have received no goods and no good reason for this. Eventually I got hold of Pet Express on a different number from the one they publish They blame the courier DPD who say they have never received the package. Trying to get hold of Pet Express is a nightmare - they do not answer the phone or emails. It is now a month since I placed the order - presumably I have lost my money. NEVER, NEVER THIS COMPANY.

AVOID at all costs . Complete waste of time . Ordered two weeks ago . Order confirmation states 1-2 day delivery. Still nothing received. Various emails saying order being processed but no sign of delivery . Will be raising issue with Paypal for refund since they were happy to take money at time of order and deliver nothing !!!

I have two orders outstanding with them since the beginning of March, and I have received nothing. I have sent emails and received automated answers, Their phone is permanently engaged, and their Pet shop contact number says its nothing to do with us. The emails state its all DPD's fault, which is rubbish, one tracking number supplied never existed and the other showed for a week DPD has been notified of parcel but has not received it, this has now been deleted. £75 down the drain, THIEVES, and LIARS, AVOID AVOID

Ordered from the pet express (Ark ) on 23rd March 2020, promised next day delivery, but in view of the current situation, I understood if there was a slight delay. My order was for in excess of £106, and was taken via Paypal immediately. I received an email from DPD informing me that my parcel would be delivered on 2nd April within a 1 hour time slot. It never arrived, on contacting DPD, they were still waiting for the parcel from the pet express. I contacted pet express and received a generic reply, does this start to sound familiar ? I kept on trying to track the parcel over the next two weeks, and eventually found that if I looked at DPD, then I could see if they were experiencing any problems with deliveries within our area. There were none, so again I contacted the pet express, to no avail. Looked on Trustpilot, oh dear ! Should have done that first, I think. I have cancelled order through their website, and requested a full refund into Paypal. Hope it appears quicker than their deliveries.

Appears they are taking orders for stock they do not have available and money is taken immediately as opposed to when it is dispatched.
May be lucky to get a generic reply on email but cannot speak to anyone or get any real update as to why a product has still not be dispatched nearly 2 weeks later.
It is not worth the hassle and time spent trying to get a refund. (which is still an ongoing process)

I would have given zero stars if I could. I been waiting over nearly TWO MONTHS for delivery. Received an email over a month ago saying it was being delivered the next day - nothing arrived. They ignore emails and complaints and don’t bother to answer the phone. Appalling service - I will never use Pet Express / The Ark Pet Centre again
