At first I didn’t expect much

At first I didn’t expect much, but the experience turned out to be far better than I imagined. I received help not only with social media growth but also with understanding the services I purchased. The team was polite, clear, and extremely patient in explaining everything step by step. In particular, Ryan stood out for his ability to simplify complex package options. It’s rare to meet a team that genuinely cares about helping customers.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I was charged for a service I never received, despite ongoing excuses that they could not log in. I requested cancellation and was told it was completed, yet I was charged again. Completely unacceptable. I am seeking legal advice. Avoid at all costs.

We perform growth actions manually, if we can’t login to your account it kind of stops us from performing any growth strategies. I don’t know if they are excuses OR our team telling you “we can’t login” which means we can't do the work. Like come on! It’s not magic, we need to get in and do the work! If you were charged after cancellation we will refund you, if you cancelled afterwards we will stick to the terms and conditions available on every page we own !

this service sucks and they're liars
do not use this service for ig growth because they'll tell you they can do it, push the service out for weeks, won't do anything and then will try to charge you for a renewal a day early and not cancel that and try to offer you more "growth" as compensation
i have backlogs of messages from them claiming they can help me on ig and truthfully? this service is a scam and i'm shocked they're not getting looked into deeper for their deceptive practices

also don’t use their twitter service it doesn’t work they removed the trust pilot site from their reviews because they don’t want people to see this

We never had Trustpilot on the page because they do not regulate reviews and publish fake reviews and not real ones an issue the refuse to address. Honestly I had low expectations, boy was I wrong!

Honestly I had low expectations, but I've gotten help not only with my social media but also help if I have any questions about the packages I bought. Every person that helped me was professional, calm and patient. Especially Adam, he was a great help for me with confusion of how certain package deals work. Great team of people who will try everything they can to help you.

YouTube Denied Monetization…

I used this company for their Monetization Boost. Although they did hit the 4000 hours of required video time, my account was denied Monetization due to Violations of YouTube Policy.
Once this happens, YouTube denies all Monetization for 90 Days and your 4000 viewing hours, can and did go down to 0 hours.
In the end, you, according to SGE's ToS, would have to buy another $600+ package and start all over.
I have tried to contact Customer Service on a couple occasion now, but Radio Silence.
DO NOT RECOMMEND

Thank you for sharing your experience. It's certainly unusual for monetization to be denied, and while it’s a rare situation, there may be a couple of factors that contributed to this outcome. Based on the details you’ve provided, the significant discrepancy between views on your earlier videos (4-10 views) and the monetized video (11,000 views) might have raised some flags.

That said, a rejection doesn't mean that monetization can't still be achieved. YouTube typically offers the chance to reapply for monetization after 90 days. This gives you an excellent window to continue building your viewership, either organically or with the help of our growth strategies, and create fresh content. If there’s a steady stream of views on new content by the time the reapplication period arrives, it could help improve the chances of success, and we can reaapply the 4k watchhours.

Charles, just an update no one is asking you to pay another $600 just email me at ryan@socialgrowthengine.com once the restriction has lifted and I will sort it out for you.

3.8 out of 5 stars here, 35% on Scam Advisor and They are TERRIBLE at customer service!

They have a 3.8 out of 5 here on Trust Pilot and a 35% rating on Scam Advisor, this proves that others are not happy with their service as well. This is in response to their reply to my complaint. This is the timeline for anyone considering doing business with them and why I advise you not to:
1. I purchased from them to promote my YouTube channel and videos, I was not aware that they only did it for new videos moving forward, nor was that in the welcome email they sent. I have reviewed it again and it says they will grow it, but nothing about only growing new content. Even if that is the case and I missed something, that means they didn't communicate clearly enough nor were they up front in a way that led me to my believe. Regardless, let's look at the next,
2. They had my money and I wasn't seeing any results, so I tried to chat with them because in their welcome email, they promised 24/7 chat support. I opened a chat and simply said, "I'm not seeing results". They told me a representative would be with me shortly and they never came or answered. I tried to find a peaceful and simple resolution, but they ignored me.
3. I paid them, saw no results, reached out nicely and got no reply or support, so obviously they are looking like a scam to me.
4. I went on the site to try and cancel the service and the site said I had to email to cancel, so I did.
5. Instead of being professional and trying to resolve, they blamed me, made excuses, deflected, and were defensive with no acceptance of any blame.
6. After I threatened legal action and reviews, they agreed to cancel and refund my money, but continued with unprofessional emails blaming me and never accepting responsibility.
7. I told them to never contact me again, and reminded them of the federal law regarding this and they chose to continue to email rude and hateful emails AFTER being told to never contact again. They are in violation of federal law and I have the receipts to prove it. This is a copy and paste from an email they sent AFTER being told to never contact again: "Don’t worry, we have more than 8 years providing services. We don’t need people paying $90 that feels high ticket. Have a great day!" So arrogant and again no remorse or acceptance of any responsibility, this is how they treat people! Had they done their job, I would have paid even more for a higher plan, but they didn't do it and were incredibly hostile to me when trying to get resolution.
So, I tried resolution through chat and was ignored, I tried to simply cancel via email and they were difficult to deal with, and in closing, they broke the law by contacting me AFTER being told to never do so again.
I would have given them another chance had they simply cared or tried, but when they treated me this way, I was done.
I don't care if I'm blocked on their platform because I would never use them and I don't do business with people like this and I can prove that they committed a criminal act by emailing me after being told not to.
I was not going to leave any more reviews until they violated federal law and were so rude to me, I felt I had to warn others.
Bottom line is that they simply don't care about customer service, they are egotistical and arrogant in their approach and would rather blame the paying customer then try to find resolution.
Buyer Beware! These are all provable facts and again if they had simply communicated with me or responded in the supposed 24/7 chat, this could have been diffused, but they chose to treat me this way leading me to warn others.

Having reviewed the chat transcript, which we will happily publish here, I invite you to read the service you signed up to and how it's delivered. The service was for new uploads to your YouTube channel, not old videos, as it very clearly says on the product page and you didn't upload anything. Over 2000 customers use this service, our chargeback/refund status is less than .5% and those are the ones who don't read the service and blame the company for it. Good day to you, our team does not need that abuse via email or live chat either. You have been refunded and blocked from our support channel.

Reply: 8 years providing services for Instagram, YouTube etc, over that time there has been many iterations of platform introduced issues and changes to the way our services are delivered including at times restrictions been placed on our services and then removed once reviewed by the platforms. Hence at times we have received negative reviews.

Our apologies for your chat experience and experience in general, in review you placed a live chat at 4pm on a Sunday CST and our agent had stepped away so you received an auto responder, we keep 11 people on chat just to answer customers fast so apologies it didn’t happen quickly and you received an auto responder saying some one will get back to you soon (as they did).

Clearly from the emails this is going back and forth without resolution. I still stand that the product page informs you how the service works and what needs to happen.

Edit: After inquiring via email multiple times, you guys were finally able to login, stating it was YOUR OWN error, then did not do a single thing on my accounts. The only changes were my own efforts at growth this entire time which means your HUMANS didn't do any work. You guys didn't do anything for $208 and I'll be pursuing the refund.

Dolled up "bot" service

I don't know what they do to be able to say they are not about service, but my channel views came in so fast.
It's nothing but a quick peak, and that's all.

They also say they have great watch time, but after I got all my views, my average watch time was 23 seconds. Before this service, I was at 1 minute 23 seconds. My video is about 5 minutes long.

I am highly disappointed…

I am highly disappointed by the performance of this service. They advertise "20 - 50 real, active new followers each day who are genuinely interested in your content"; I was lucky to get 4 or 5 largely disinterested followers per day over the course of almost 2 months with their service, many of which were outside the provided target demographic. I reached out several times to support and while I will give them credit for being responsive, it seemed to be nothing more than gaslighting me about "talking to the account manager to make changes to the filtering and competitor accounts" that never amounted to any difference in the campaign's performance (if it even happened). Hardly worth the money, i'd suggest you stay away.

Great for now

After a month with Social Growth, I’m impressed. Initially skeptical due to the many fake companies out there, they’ve proven to be the real deal.

Their customer support is outstanding—responsive and thorough. The results have matched their promises so far. While things can change over time, I’ll update if needed, but for now, I recommend them for anyone seeking growth.

The SGE team has been with me since I started my YouTube channel, and I couldn't be happier. The ROI has been amazing and totally worth it.

Even though our channel is already big, I love that they have package prices for all needs so I've even used their services for other small projects, and I've never been disappointed.

The only issue is that they don't have services for Facebook and have very few for TikTok. I hope they can release something soon.

I've been using Growth Engine for a few…

I've been using Growth Engine for a few years now, and the results have been consistently impressive!!! Currently utilizing the Like Exchange, and it has significantly boosted my Instagram presence with my followers and new people.

Whenever my budget permits, I also use their other services, and they never disappoint. With so many packages and features available in their store, it can be easy to get confused, or things can be a bit laggy due to social media platform updates (that mess up things for everyone ugh), so I appreciate that support is always available. Recommended!

I have 4 client accounts with SGE, and performance is as expected. One of my accounts took a bit to start getting optimal results, but after many years in this field, I understand that some niches are harder than others.

Also, for someone like me, who works with many customers, fast and reliable support is a game changer, and they have it. I especially appreciate the patience and support from Will and Neal.

From the very first day

From the very first day, working with Social Growth Engine was a nightmare. I paid for their growth service, but they didn't even bother contacting me to set up my account. After I reached out, they took my information but did nothing for days. When I contacted them again, they claimed there was a problem logging into my account. Once we resolved that, there was minimal activity for maybe one or two days, then nothing.
After a couple of weeks, I reached out again on June 13th to ask why there was no growth. They gave me excuses about Instagram changing its algorithm and needing to be careful. Frustrated, I changed my password and disabled my auth codes, then waited a few more days. When I still saw no results, I contacted them again and got the same excuses.

To make matters worse, they charged my credit card a day early from its renewal, knowing I was planning to cancel. They promised a refund within 24 hours, but it never happened. Instead, they offered three more weeks of growth as compensation, which I declined, insisting on my money back. They refused both the refund for the initial service and the early charge for the new month.

I had no choice but to initiate a chargeback. Dealing with Social Growth Engine was an absolute scam. They partially delivered on the boost service, but the rest was utterly fraudulent. I strongly advise staying away from them.

Regarding the login issues, I understand your frustration. For us to provide our services effectively, we require continuous access to your account. Changing your password and disabling authentication codes prevented us from performing the necessary work. This is why the Engagement Boost service, which doesn't require direct access, was partially delivered while other services were not.

As for our refund policy, it is clearly stated on our website that our subscription period is 30 days, and due to the nature of our services, we generally do not offer refunds. However, I am willing to make an exception in your case. I would like to offer you a free month of service and refund the final month's charge to resolve this issue.
