Regenexx is good but too expensive. insurance need to start accepting this procedure.

Second visit. Had both my elbows PRP last year and both are completely healed. Just had a left shoulder tare and left thumb joint and fully expect the same result. Dr. Goodwin is very friendly and personable as is his staff. I'd recommend talking with them before any surgery is performed.

I see some improvement, but definitely not as much as I had hoped. I honestly think diet is the biggest factor with my issues. Not eating inflammatory foods is what truly makes a difference.

My knees are doing great and I’m now back cycling 125 to 150 miles a week.

I developed avascular necrosis in my hip and was told I would need hip replacement, but was also informed that stem cell might be another option. I truly couldn’t imagine hip replacement, so decided to give stem cell a try.

By this time I was using a wheel chair and electric scooter. My pain level never got below an 8, and with certain movements it became a screaming 10. I was desperate for relief, as well as my active life back.

I went for my procedure on December 10th. For me the procedure was quite painful. I don’t tolerate pain meds so didn’t get relief. I was told that recovery is different for each individual and that it would take time. I wasn’t very optimistic, but my husband WAS!

Month one...no change, month two...no change month three...some change. By this time I was ready to bite the bullet and have hip replacement. My friends who had had one were already living an active life again while I was still in so much pain.

Month four...a little better. My doctor told me to hang in there. And we would do another MRI after six months. I was just done. My husband however would not let me give up.

As the next two months passed I started getting a bit better, but not enough to golf, which is my passion. I was still sitting on the couch watching my life pass by, and becoming depressed.

I had my six month MRI and a conference with my doctor. He was elated with the results. The AVN was healed! I however was still in pain and sitting on the couch. He told me that the pain I was experiencing was due to unused muscles and that with time they would get stronger as I used them. I was skeptical and made an appointment with a hip surgeon.

My surgeon looked at the three MRI’s I had had and was in absolute awe at the healing. She said the AVN was healed, and that in her opinion it was astonishing. She evaluated my pain and concurred with my doctor that it was muscle weakness and would heal. That was June 7, 2019. My ordeal had started June 6, 2018.

As I left her office my tears of joy were uncontrollable! I was truly in shock.

It is now August 14 and I am back playing golf and living my life. I still have a small amount of pain in my groin, but feel it fading a bit more each day. This journey has been a LONG! Would I chose hip replacement over stem cell due to the recovery time? Absolutely not!

If I had read this review previous to the stem cell procedure, it would’ve removed my skepticism. I would strongly advise stem cell over hip replacement.

I had Stem Cell injections in my bone on bone arthritic knee in December 2016 and from the moment of the injection I've had no pain. This knee is strong and I am very pleased and hooray, no surgery!

After a fairly serious set of tears to my rotator cuff, Regenexx and my Doctor at Centeno Schultz did super concentrated PRP on my shoulder. Within a week or so, I was pain free, and then after 4 months, I was playing competitive racquetball again.
