The service was fast and I received constant updates about the building process for my keyboard.

I dealt with one person in particular who was brilliant all the way through this.

Personally, my experience with Ascend Keyboards was nothing short of astounding. When I first purchased, I went to Trustpilot and read the reviews. I had my doubts, but I emailed Oscar, and he assured me that I would be notified at every step of the assembly, which he did not fail to do. I ordered it towards the end of April and received the keyboard on the 14th of May. Assembling the keyboard takes time because, according to Oscar, they have to order the parts in. I use the keyboard for work and I am extremely happy with it.

I made an order same time last year. It took them 9 months to send out only part of my order which was the keycaps and still nothing of the switches I ordered with them. I have contacted them via email and discord. Nothing has resulted in them completing my order. Would recommend and won't be ordering from them again

Beautiful bespoke quality and a great community

My son made himself a custom keyboard for his Christmas present. As promised was delivered on time for Christmas and also was brilliant with back and fourth communication, he's over moon with it thank you.

Placed an order at the start of December and took quite a long time to arrive (understandable at this time of the year). As of writing the site has some issues with their ticketing system and thus communication is foggy however after some time the owner emailed me and sorted my order. It arrived a little before Christmas and the kit is good quality and I am happy.

I would recommend these guys just be conscious of longer shipping times in busier months.

I placed an order for a custom keyboard way back in March and still haven't received it. I tried asking customer service but they don't respond at all. It's like talking to a wall. Awful way to treat customers. I'm honestly thinking ascend keyboards is a scam.

My advice to anyone is to avoid ascend keyboards at all costs because you'll only be wasting your money with nothing in return. Absolutely awful.

I ordered a keyboard almost 2 months ago and still haven't received it.

Order was delayed by over a month. Tried cancelling and asking for updates for the whole time. Get told it was shipped and the order never arrived. Absolutely abhorrent service.

Ascend are fantastic at making sure your worries are covered and, although it’s a premium price, you do get a premium product!

I'm impressed by how the custom mechanical keyboard built in high quality, but there are a few complaints from me.

Order and delivery waiting time, took me about 3 months to get my delivery which is an acceptable but would be nice if things speed up.

Some key switches were not responding because of pins are bent due to mail package even though they gave me 2 additional key switches, and I had to replace them but more of them however not. Which is why I bought fresh pieces from MechMods, to get them working.

Customer support waiting time. This is the main issue that customers dealing with. I have been emailed them several times and I didn't get replies until later soon. I really hope they need to improve their customer support ticket system soon.
However, their responses are polite and great to help so I'm going to give them 4 stars.

Ordered pre-modded stabilisers from them, as I had neither the equipment with me, nor the time to do it myself. Took 3 weeks for it to ship, and I sent them an email after 2 to request for updates. I received no reply, and send another email a week later to ask for a refund, as I was no longer sure I would ever receive my product at this point. The product was shipped out the day after I sent the second email. Even with the issues about wait-time and customer service, I would have been fine with it had the product been decent. However, it arrived overlubed and gummy. I had to remove some of the lube myself, which entirely defeats the purpose of getting it pre-modded. On the bright side, there is no rattle.

TLDR: In my opinion, there is a long wait-time, poor/no customer service, and it was an unsatisfactory product.

Ordered a Q1, quick delivery, really pleased with product. No issues. Will order from them again.

I Purchased a TKL keyboard with Oil King Switches from Ascend keyboards on November 1st 2023, after a little delay, I have received the keyboard and it sounds and feel amazing!!

They have amazing customer service in their Discord server, and everyone is so kind!! They helped a lot when I was anxious about my parcel, and I am very thankful for that.

10/10 experience with Ascend Keyboards, Couldn't recommend more!!

Ordered late December and it arrived within a matter of days with absolutely no issues at all, The staff are great and assist you along the process of buying and suggesting what keyboard is right for you. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a more personalized keyboard without having to worry about building it themselves from the ground up.

Brilliant service. Ordered a custom keyboard. Arrived in 3-4 weeks, as advertised. Coiled cable was missing from order but contacted an admin via discord and they responded within 24 hours, immediately sending one out to me. Discord is really good too! Lots of exciting things going on there. My board sounds beautiful as well :)
