This is such a terrible company. I ordered the shoes with the blue soles on October 12. Did not hear anything for three weeks. I then mailed the company asking for an update. First, it was that the tariffs caused the delays and then they claimed that they had run out of the style I had ordered. Mind you, that style is still available on the website. I then ordered another style but after having heard nothing (again) after a week, I cancelled my order and requested a refund. This was last Wednesday. Friday, I receive an email that my refund was "loaded". On Monday, it was " loaded". It's Wednesday and i have still not seen my refund. I disputed the charge at my bank. Do not buy the shoes online if you cannot go to a physical store. They have lost my business.

First time I bought boots from them -amazing! 2nd time, they sent me wrong shoes, no problem, sent mine back, my boots then had a £69 charge ti get through customs. After speaking to customer service we agreed they would transfer me the money to pay the import charges. Few months later, still no refund for the extra I paid out. Boots are great but I could never trust buying from them again, such a shame

Ok, I've been a desert boot wearer for years (Ex army) and i came across a load of You Tube videos regards Veldskoen vellies. Well in for a shilling in for pound, I thought why not. So ordered fully expecting the boots to be in the Uk, nope they were sent from South Africa. A bit puzzled i then did a search for reviews and became a little concerned at the raft of negative reviews.
However that said, I cant fault the service i received, I was kept informed every step of the way by email by 2 tracker sites regards the transit of the boots .One i have never heard of, but can only presume is a South African one and UPS. I followed my vellies from South Africa to the Uk. and they arrived today by UPS this morning. I can only presumed that Veldskoen have taken back control from their outlying stations (New website?) and for me, that has worked a treat. Note I don't work for the company and i bought these boots for myself. So I'm one happy teddy.

Poor customer service! Just terrible. Received my order a month late due their lack of communication and poor response times. I took to email, chat and finally filed a complaint before they responded. Very disappointed.

Bought a pair of the Woodstock brown. Had them 3mths and the sole has started to come off, bare in mind these are only used for corporate office use. Issue I have is I am a size 10 and the boot at first was great until it started to stretch and now my foot slides forward even with thicker socks. This has now made it essentially to small. They look great, just think there is quality issue's.

This is a fake company. Buyer beware. They will charge your credit card and not ship the product hoping the customer forgets. There is no contact for customer service, only an email with one person who responds with delays and excuses. I thankfully caught onto the scam quick enough to receive help from my credit card company to get a credit back

I was charged for a pair of shoes that were not delivered. There is no way to contact their courier company and despite NUMEROUS emails to Veldskoen they will not refund for undelivered items. Beware the online order

USA order. On January 3rd, 2025, my husband ordered a pair of shoes. He never received a confirmation email. I emailed and sent a communication from their website on January 10th, 2025. I received an automated response that they would get back to me in 24 hours. On January 15th, I sent another email and filled out the website comment form. I received another automated response from my email with the same message about getting back within 24 hours. I also found a Whats App Number to text them and I did. An automated response but never a actual response to the issue at hand. I even tried called on the Whats App but the number only accepts Text.
Background Info: A couple of years ago, my husband purchased a pair of boots from Veldskoen from the GMA Deals and Steals. The boots were sized very large. We had an issue but GMA resolved the exchange as they did with thousands of other customers who had the same issue. Since my husband obviously liked the boots, and knew the proper size to purchase, he opted to buy another pair of shoes.
Future Orders: Never would I purchase from this company again. There are too many other companies that provide better service. Is Veldskoen going bankrupt or closing their business except for selling shoes and accepting payment without providing product?

Very poor customer service. Purchased a pair of slipper on black Friday and although followed the sizing guide they were too small. Purchased as a Christmas present. Only worn to try on but as over 30 days returns link does not work and they do not respond to numerous emails. Be weary with dealing with the UK supplier of the great Sputh African shoes

As a South African living in Scotland, I very eagerly awaited my pair of vellies! I chose them based on sizing guidance given on the website, however, when they arrived they were sadly too small.

This is where my troubles started! Needless to say, when I purchased this item in the recent Black Friday SALE, right through the checkout process, NO WHERE did it state that sale items were only available for exchange. I found this out when I emailed the Customer Service team - please note that their auto response said the team would reply within 24 hrs, yet it took 3 days and only happened after my wife reached out to the team via Instagram!

A collection and exchange was arranged for the same day, however, only collection took place. I did not receive any notification from the collection courier, so had NO IDEA of when they’d be arriving!

Since the boots were collected, it’s been more than a week since I’ve had any further replies from the Customer Service team despite quite a few emails from myself, asking where my exchange is. The exchange process appeared clear when I spoke to CS, as I was told when they were arranging the courier, that they were arranging ‘the collection and exchange’. So if so, why am I still in the dark as to where my exchange is? I’ve not received any email confirmation thereof.

I’ve checked with DX couriers on the website and my return has been delivered back to Veldskoen UK.

I’m left feeling rather disappointed by this whole process and would like to say to Veldskoen UK, that if this is how you wish to move forward in conducting business, I will never buy from you again.

Maybe, just maybe my bad review and if others are brave enough to take the time after all the exacerbation they’ve felt with the process to leave a review too, Veldskoen UK will pull their finger out and be more transparent with their processes and jack up their Customer Service!

UPDATE: only fair to say that the CEO eventually got involved and facilitated a very satisfactory solution to my customer service problem. Thank you Nick!
I hope that this will help to prevent this kind of thing happening to anyone else in the future.

I can't understand the negative reviews,I can only comment on my own experience which has been A+.I ordered a pair of Heritage Springbok on Monday 27th May and delivered today 29th May,in Edinburgh, very lekker pair of Vellies,only time will tell how they wear but so far an amazing journey.

Bought shoes through Debenhams but no info on how to return and have to do so through the concession not Debenhams. Two weeks and several emails and they won’t reply to me or Debenhams - £150 boots and can’t return. Awful company and surely breaks online selling regulations. Would never recommend.

My order has never arrived. There is no UK phone number and the company does not respond to emails. If you want a pair of desert boots, just buy a pair of Clarks instead.

Stumbled on the brand while searching for a decent pair of desert boots and am so glad I did!
I brought the Heritage boot (choosing red soles) on Amazon in May 2023. I was so impressed when they arrived that I looked up Veldskoen UK which turned out to be a mistake because I ordered a pair of Eight Feet boots on the spot 🤪. I’m writing this on 10th June, earlier today I took delivery of my 4th pair (KARIEGA), which along with the Chukka which arrived recently have completed my collection..for now 😀
Veldskoen is definitely my drug of choice and the addiction is strong but thankfully the KARIEGA are a Father’s Day treat from our kids. I can’t recommend this footwear too highly, having worn handmade shoes to work for many years it’s great to find a manufacturer of quality leisure footwear at an affordable price.10/10 for quality, comfort and the sheer pleasure of owning these boots.
