I was disconnected way before month end and asked to pay early. when I revised my payment date option i paid on the 27th of February, had internet for a day. on the 2nd am told I have to pay again. I am told I was connected for a day as a grace period. what is your story

rain used to have an amazing "do it yourself" platform on their website. You could manage everything so seamlessly. Now it takes me a whole 3 days to cancel a sim card that I no longer need. Greatly disappointed and considering leaving and opting for a more smarter option. Its not as great as it used to be. From taking great steps to nose diving and conforming to all these other cooperations that hide everything through a call. If I could swear I would, but I don't want this to get taken down. Heads up to anyone who's considering them. There goes my recommendation out the window. Thanks rain.

I would like to write a review about Rain Internet Service Provider
Call started with a bang. Great individual that helped me. One or two questions miss misleading which I came to be aware of later.
Rain definitely portrays a over promise but Under deliver service.
I rate there service 1/10. 1 purely for the one person who actually tried to help me which is not his fault. Unfortunately it seems like Rains infrusture is extremely poor. I have ordered a 5g 101pro router for delivery. Unfortunately after multiple calls between Rain and the courier service and I mean multiple calls. It's bad everyone. They can't even get a delivery delivered. Imagine what the aftersales will be. So disappointing it is unreal. Scary thing is I am actually giving them opportunity after opportunities to get this sorted. It is unbelievable how they advertise but yet it seems like they don't want my business. Getting the basics done should be easy. They can't do it. Promise after promise. They will need to win me over if they wish for me to continue. Last chance Rain. Final opportunity.

Rain is a scam. Every month I cancel my subscription and every month I am told that my account is going to be debited. This is unacceptable. I am paying for a service I am not receiving. Where can I go for help because this is unacceptable. I cannot be paying for a service I am not receiving and I cannot be forced to stay with a service provider I don’t want to stay with.

Don’t go anywhere near this absolutely terrible WiFi service
I cancelled in March last year. I received confirmation and thought it was over. I was then debited in April again. I phoned them and they assured me they would escalate the issue. To this day I’ve received no calls, no emails, no sms. The same process happened for the next 5 months. Costing me a total of R3540. Every month I called and the same process. The best thing about this, THE SIM CARD NO LONGER WORKS. I’m paying for a ghost service. It got so bad that I had to cancel the credit card I used for the payment as no one at rain can find a brain cell in their entire company to assist me. Now today I get an email stating that I owe them R4870 ???? What the hell ? Please don’t go near them. This is a criminal organisation
Unfortunately I will not be contacting them as I have tried many, many, many times. I’ve even met with a consultant IN PERSON. Your promises as as trustworthy as a politician. You say all the right things but don’t deliver anything you promise. I stand by my statement. Rain is rubbish

ŔAIN network has the worst service ever. I have numerous complaints about network. Im told my router (CPE x)is old ( over 6 years). They cant troubleahoot. All they do is create numerous tickets and no one ever follows up. If someone ever follows up...its a person tht is unable to help and also create a ticket. You chat to AI but NO human support. Can i please get my router upgraded. Hopefully on this platform RAIN will take me serious. Im tired of paying for service i dnt get. 0742083741. Is my contact

False Advertising – Totally Unreliable
I bought Rain’s service expecting what they promised: 30 Mbps download and reasonable upload speeds. What I got? Download is spotty at best, but the upload — the one thing my wife needs for her job — is a pathetic 5 Mbps.
This isn’t just inconvenient, it’s unacceptable. Rain sold us a lie. If you need your internet for work, don’t be fooled by their flashy marketing. Their speeds are a joke, their service is unreliable, and their advertising is misleading, We have had rain 2 days and it is constantly on and off. The sim cards provided only work sometimes.I got rain to improve my internet. I had no idea it could be worse than what it already was. Selling false promises affects remote income.

Dear RAIN - please see the below email sent to your so-called "support team" many weeks ago. To add to my previous review posted 11th Feb 26 please take this as a further complaint about your non-communication over a long period of time about your service.
No contact from RAIN and no ref no ever allocated but my number is clearly listed at the end of this post.

We terminated our contract with Rain after a period of non-service from them.
During this period we were told that, despite switching to 5G some time earleir we had still been on a 4G tower.
We asked to speak to somebody about this error by Rain and have since been assured 4 times that the issue was escalated to "management" who would contact us about it.
NO SUCH CONTACT HAS EVER BEEN MADE.
Recently, a courier has asked (for the second time) to collect your equipment. We have (again) told them that we expect a call from Rain management to settle our dispute with the company about poor service over a period of almost a year.
For almost a year we had a greatly reduced service whilst also being asked to pay more for that (supposed 5G) service and expect Rain to communicate with us over this before we BOTHER to make ourselves available for your equipment to be collected.
You BOTHER to speak to us about the service issues and we'll BOTHER to stay at home for your gear to be collected.
I referred this issue to your professional body just before Christmas with full details of all the appalling service we have received and are awaiting their response.
Perhaps you can actually get somebody from the "management" to respond to me on 0761574743. Until you do we are not prepared to BOTHER about handing back your gear.

It is now going for 2 weeks with no network especially at night. It has been a nightmare for me and my family especially doing homework for my kids.
I've been told every day to reboot, switch on and off, move around nothing works they lock a call still no help. Need to know is they have anything to offer while waiting for to have a solution
Now I have to pay full amount while I'm suffer for the network. Now I'm buying data for school homework I'm using money. Rain please treat you customers

We got the loop 475/25 gig and quickly released that 25gig is not cooking it. So we upgraded to the unlimited package. It's now been 5 full days and millions of calls to Rain, still not working. Rain is useless and support is shit. No luck. Will give the flipped router back and I will NOTbpay my account.
